Death of a Moonbat Poet

Posted by Gregory of Yardale at March 30, 2010 11:18 AM

The New York Waste of Times writes a fawning obituary to the poet Ai. And why was Ai a favorite of the NYWoT? Mainly because they considered her poetry "a damning indictment of American society."

Here's a sample of her "talent."

I scissor the stem of the red carnation
and set it in a bowl of water.
It floats the way your head would,
if I cut it off.

Not exactly Robert Frost or Yehuda Amachai is it? One of the joys of being a right-wing kook is not having to pretend you like crappy poetry.

Also, I'm pretty sure heads don't float in water when you cut them off.

Her poetry takes off my pants and mocks me, but not in a mean way.
