Is Wanda Sykes Happy Now?

Posted by Gregory of Yardale at December 31, 2009 6:20 AM

Back in May of this year, alleged comedian Wanda Sykes made the White Correspondent's dinner roll over with laughter by proclaiming that she hoped Rush Limbaugh's kidney's would fail. PBO laughed at the "joke," too. Jon Stewart defended it on The Daily Show, and angry left talk-show host Ed Shultz gushed over her.

So, I guess we can assume all of these people were delighted yesterday when Rush Limbaugh was taken to the hospital with chest pains.

Comments at the Huffington Post aren't too bad, the moderators must be out in force. Elsewhere, though, the Left is showing it's usual degree of class. Here are some comments from the San Francisco Examiner:

He's still not dead? What a gyp...

let that sob die.
Rush Limbaugh is an evil c*nt who makes me wish I believed in hell, so I could know he'd be going there.

From the Left-Wing "Gawker" Blog:

Argh, this would've been the greatest way to end what has been a big year in celebrity deaths.
This year might end on a high note after all. Since christmas hasn't happened for my click yet , this might be our little miracle
I was always hoping rush would die choking trying to wash down five oxys with Paula Deen's fried butter balls, but this would be okay too.

In the Washington Post:

With luck, it won't be long before the fat freak is stoking the fires of Hell.

Think Progress:

I know what'll make a very happy new year for me. C'mon, you're thinking it too.

I hope if he croaks its a slow painful departure.

Yes, the mainstream left once again demonstrate their tolerance and compassion.
