Google's Contribution to ClimateGate Blackout

Posted by Van Helsing at November 29, 2009 10:59 AM

Despite a near-total blackout by the complicit news media, Watts Up With That reported yesterday that "ClimateGate" had surpassed "Global Warming" as a search term on Google. Possibly out of pure spite, Google's moonbat elves have prevented the search box from completing the term they want to wish into the cornfield.

It takes four letters to bring "Global Warming" to the top:

google-global-warming.jpg

But "ClimateGate" is not completed no matter how much of it you type:

google-climategate.jpg

At Bing, on the other hand:

bing-climategate.jpg

The lesson: do not rely on the mainstream media, or on Google.

On a tip from AnonymoUS.

Oh yawn. If you actually type "climategate" (SO difficult!) you get 11,500,000 options. Some blackout.

I notice FOX is still more interested in naked mole rats on their science and tech page. Then again, FOX does seem to favor "naked" news. FOX, a perfect example of "complicit news media" obviously.

Sometimes I think Google is a branch of the democrat party. Their owners and staff make no bones about their bias.

Bend over and squeal like a pig, Lao, you guys are going to get ClimateGate up the ass.
You Betcha, but do you think that is sanitary, Darn it.

The internet is the Communist's wet dream of information gathering and information control. They (the oligarchy) know everything that you type and what you look at. Snitches, rats and shills like Lao appear all over the internet to frustrate posters and break up topics. At any rate when I looked for "CLIMATEGATE" on Google I was able to reproduce what this thread clearly shows. CLIMATEGATE will not appear in the auto fill area even though it should.

Lao = "commie snitch". Hilarious!

Purpose = "to break up topics". I spoke about Google and climategate. You have done more to derail the topic with your red-baiting nonsense.

"cause confrontation and track public sentiment". That one is really hilarious since, your own "public sentiment" with no input from me, has included advocating violent revolution.

"Google autofill" = communist information control. LOL!! Did you try typing out "climategate" in full to see that you can get 1,500,000 Google links??

Cry "cover-up" some more.

Posted by: Lao at November 29, 2009 12:07 PM

Ooops make that ELEVEN million, five hundred thousand links.

Posted by: Lao at November 29, 2009 12:09 PM

Ooops again, just checked back, it's up to 13,300,000 links now. That "climategate blackout" is really something.

Examiner: Google blocking 'climategate' autosuggestion

Posted by: AnonymoUS at November 29, 2009 12:11 PM

A lot of people must be trying to google this now, because it came up automatically at climateg on my search. Even tools like Google will find it hard to hide the truth eventually!

Posted by: lisa at November 29, 2009 12:15 PM

they fixed it. I just typed "cli" into google and climategate came up.

Posted by: mega at November 29, 2009 12:16 PM

6,680,000 hits for Climategate. It showed at the top when I put in "Climat-------" first option. But I still think Google sucks. Not that they really have a bad search engine, just that certain biases really show through, such as the infamous "Google Bomb" of Bush. Hell, the 4th link on the web is this www.realchange.org/bushjr.htm... fringe lunatic leftist site and the 4th pic is this...

http://librivermis.files.wordpress.com/2009/03/george-w-bush.jpg

Har-dee-har-har.

Obama on the other hand has no negative sites against him come up until the bottom of the 3rd page when you enter in "Barack Obama" and images on the bottom of the 2nd that can even be considered halfway negative.

Google does have a bias, that's for damn sure. That's why I go with Bing.

Posted by: Atomic Lib Smasher at November 29, 2009 12:19 PM

Heres the thing Lao, you're comment "If you actually type "climategate" (SO difficult!) you get 11,500,000 options. Some blackout" insinuates that google is preventing you from doing searches on climategate. That is not what's being said at all. That insinuation is accurate based on you're two follow ups "Ooops make that ELEVEN million, five hundred thousand links", and "Ooops again, just checked back, it's up to 13,300,000 links now. That "climategate blackout" is really something". You are trying to make the point that the people upset about this are misguided in that there is really nothing nefarious going on because as anyone can see there are millions of hits. That is not what people are upset about. Its irritating that google is showing its political agenda by preventing the autocomplete for climategate. Does that prevent anyone from using google to search that? No. Does anyone really beieve that it can prevent the search? No. In fact its just merely pointing out that if google is such a thorough search engine, its curious that this piece is missing. I'm surprised you couldnt figure that out.

People and organizations like Google just sit in the room, and the elephant in the room is undergoing a rapid weight gain as they pretend to ignore it.

This thing will fall apart, and if Obama attends Copenhagen, his approval will absolutely tank.
You Betcha, It stinks in this room. Did that big elephant just fart? Darn it.

ALS,

Why presume a Google "conspiracy" to hide information?

Anyone wanting information about this vague climate academic controversy they sort of heard about is going to find it.

Type in "climategate", "climate hoax", "global warming scandal" etc. etc. and the information comes up.

How many people are going to be prevented from finding information? None. Unless they are lazy searchers.

Moonbattery is always ready to cry "conspiracy!" over nothing. It's vastly amusing because, on the one hand, you denounce the left as being utter incompetents and provide so-called examples, regularly. Then you flip-flop and claim the left is so nefariously capable, that they can subvert the world's media and the internet at a moment's notice when a "crisis" such as "climategate" emerges that needs to be put under wraps. I learned long ago not to expect any logical consistency from the far right.

dmgore, who cares? I never actually use that feature because it's quicker for me to type my full search term than to stop typing, grab my mouse and track the cursor to a suggested word or phrase.

It takes me two seconds to type "climategate" and bingo, there's millions of links. To claim this is a "blackout" and a conspiracy is malarcky.

Posted by: LittleMissPerfect at November 29, 2009 1:21 PM

Google has changed things. When I type in Climate.... it does finish with Climategate.

Posted by: Earl at November 29, 2009 1:24 PM

Because Google has stated (in print - look it up) corporate 'feel good- mission statements pushing solutions to man made global warming.

The founders are tree huggers. There is plenty of printed (AP) articles on how great they are for pushing carbon reduction and saving the third world from the big bad industrial nations.

The fact that this AGW Hoax shit is hitting the fan smacks straight into the investment and long term growth strategy of Google.

Also, just about 98% of Google employees are Leftist Tools, based on public records of political donations over the last couple of years.

This little blip in the carbon trading scam being set up (through a Chicago Exchange owned by Al Gore) just cost Google employees a lot of individual wealth as those potential (fraud based) revenue streams will now dry up.

The guy pushing the mop around at Google wants Climategate to go away based on greed.

Lying and denial are his creed. he takes his orders from the left. In his fucked up mind if they say it then it is true. No sense in trying to prove your point with this imbecilic idiot because he is so much in denial as well as being frosted over by his male fantasy, Barak Obama.

It is all obvious to us what the left is doing about climategate but it's going to be harder to cover this one up and the socialist dipshits know this. They can try to cover it up but we are more intelligent then they are. We can put two and two together unlilke these idots.

It seems as though every day some thing new is uncovered about the operation of the lying ass dip shit left. You guys in the left are in some deep shit and it gets deeper every day by your own hands. Keep it up lefty the battle draws closer. I loath you lefty idiots every hour and every day.

Ha! I suppose even Google can't ignore something when there are 13 million links. However, now, when you type "googlegate" it doesn't show up in the autosearch box, but there are 9500 hits. I suppose when the links hit into the 10s of millions they'll have to make that show up in the autosearch box, too.

The Internet is a stern mistress when it comes to correcting wrongs, isn't she?

Posted by: Judith M. at November 29, 2009 3:33 PM

Did anyone here actually check on this? Because I did and the whole thing is bunk.

Go ahead. Go to Google and type in "clim" in the search window and "Climategate" comes right to the top. Talk about your easily checked facts.

I love it. I leave just after 1:16 and over two hours later, people are still calling me names and very definitely AVOIDING responding to my points.

What makes this side-splittingly funny is that the open thread at the top talks about how to shut a debate down by calling people "racist". Notice funkendunkel at 1:59. Needless to mention I also got "pig", "commie shill" and it's varients, repeated invitations to chew on someone and the usual longwinded spew and threats from what's his name.

Way back at the beginning Mr. commie shill himself moaned about how my intention was to derail the thread. Allow me to try to bring it back from the sewers where your side has dragged it.

"Googlegate" Judith? LOL!!!!

Does Google autocomplete make any difference whatsoever to someone who is searching for information links to climategate? No. Yet you just have to cling to your pathetic conspiracy theories and now you want to elevate your manufactured nonsense by giving it "gate" status. Too funny!

Posted by: Lao at November 29, 2009 4:04 PM

Google has made it's liberal bias infamously known long before the election where what they refuse to report is just as damning as what outrageous slants they go out of their way to "report".

As for Lao, Brandon and any other sniveling brat, look deep into your mirror;

The Liberal Mind: Psychological Causes of Political Madness by Dr. Lyle Rossiter

"Based on strikingly irrational beliefs and emotions, modern liberals relentlessly undermine the most important principles on which our freedoms were founded,”
“Like spoiled, angry children, they rebel against the normal responsibilities of adulthood and demand that a parental government meet their needs from cradle to grave.”
“A social scientist who understands human nature will not dismiss the vital roles of free choice, voluntary cooperation and moral integrity – as liberals do,”
"A political leader who understands human nature will not ignore individual differences in talent, drive, personal appeal and work ethic, and then try to impose economic and social equality on the population – as liberals do. And a legislator who understands human nature will not create an environment of rules which over-regulates and over-taxes the nation’s citizens, corrupts their character and reduces them to wards of the state –as liberals do.”
“The roots of liberalism – and its associated madness – can be clearly identified by understanding how children develop from infancy to adulthood and how distorted development produces the irrational beliefs of the liberal mind,”
“When the modern liberal mind whines about imaginary victims, rages against imaginary villains and seeks above all else to run the lives of persons competent to run their own lives, the neurosis of the liberal mind becomes painfully obvious.”

Winghunter, I fail to see how what you wrote relates to my claim that it is unlikely that google is trying to control the world through its autocomplete tool.

It appears that you are also making wild guesses about me, my beliefs and the psychological causes of those beliefs.

Posted by: Brandon at November 29, 2009 4:15 PM

“The roots of far right conservatism – and its associated madness (Moonbattery) – can be clearly identified by understanding how children develop from infancy to adulthood and how distorted development produces the irrational beliefs (Obama derangement syndrome) of the far right conservative mind,”

“When the modern far right conservative mind whines about imaginary victims, (themselves usually) rages against imaginary villains (Google!) and seeks above all else to run the lives of persons competent to run their own lives,(use autocomplete or bite me) the neurosis of the far right conservative mind becomes painfully obvious.”

Lao,
Our job here is not to protect the Muzzie's from physical harm, but to raise the awareness of Google to this hoax of global warming.

It seems to be working, you can now go to Google and type in cli and ClimateGate pops up.
As an extra no cost enhancement to allowing access to info on the hoax, you can now type in "peckerhead" and a picture of Algore and Lao pops up.
You type in Muslims and a picture of burning buildings should pop up.

What I can comment on is a transparently obvious attempt to gin up a liberal/climate conspiracy theory (Google Blackout) where none exists. That's what I have commented on here. Feel free to question my points.

Hah! You know know nothing about bathhouse etiquette. Suppose a guy you don't like wants to pork you in the keister. What do you do? Huh? Huh? You don't know, do you?

Posted by: Lao at November 29, 2009 8:01 PM

V the K, where are you? Of course I don't know that part of bathhouse etiquette. I'm a top.

Posted by: Lao at November 29, 2009 8:04 PM

LOL!!! You have lost it completely "Lao" every post you make is obviously from a name highjacker. You know nothing about the thread. All you can do is spew about bathhouses. Come on, I keep challenging you and you miss every time. Address Google and blackouts. I can't wait.

Posted by: Anonymous at November 29, 2009 8:04 PM

That's what he said. "I can't wait".

Posted by: Lao at November 29, 2009 8:06 PM

Ooops, getting ahead of myself. 8:04 with the LOL!! was obviously the real Lao.

Back to "blackouts". How do 13 MILLION links indicate a media "blackout" "Lao". I can't wait for your explanation.

Posted by: Lao at November 29, 2009 8:06 PM

STOP HIJACKING MY NAME!

Posted by: Lao at November 29, 2009 8:07 PM

My wife said I should ignore you. Well, actually, she said, "Baaa", but I'm sure that's what she meant.

Posted by: Lao at November 29, 2009 8:10 PM

Type "climategate" into Google and what do you get?

Posted by: Lao at November 29, 2009 8:16 PM

I'll tell you what you get. Currently 13,800,000 links. Do you think that will satisfy your thirst for knowledge about the issue?

Posted by: Lao at November 29, 2009 8:18 PM

And it will satisfy your thirst in a way that doesn't leave wanting to spit out afterwards, either. Not that I would know anything about that.

Posted by: Lao at November 29, 2009 8:21 PM

Type "climategate" into Google. How many hits do you get?

Posted by: Lao at November 29, 2009 8:24 PM

Too funny. You just can't address the actual thread can you "Lao"? Enjoy your bathhouses, I won't bother with you or this thread any more unless someone comes up with an actual argument with substance. That's something that's been lacking badly from your side.

Posted by: Lao at November 29, 2009 8:26 PM

KAHN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Posted by: Lao at November 29, 2009 8:26 PM

Another day older and deeper in debt?

Posted by: Lao at November 29, 2009 8:27 PM

I give up. You people are so juvenile.

Posted by: Lao at November 29, 2009 8:29 PM

You people should show more respect to Muslims. After all, we invented the zero. It provides a simple way of describing what we've accomplished in the last thousand years.

Posted by: Lao at November 29, 2009 8:39 PM

That tears it! It will be a hard habit to break, but I'm switching to BING.

Actually BING is owned by Microsoft, the company that has a recycling bin instead of a trash on its operating system. They are obviously part of the world wide environmentalist conspiracy!

By the way, I am posting so much because I couldn't find any illegals to choke me while I'm playing in the shower.

It seems I scared most of them off when I lost consciousness.

Personally, I think I am going to source this back to my countrymen because they won't laugh at my tiny, concave naughty bits like the others did.

Posted by: Lao at November 29, 2009 8:59 PM

From another thread. This what is being discussed, you liberal dunces.

Google joins ClimateGate (dis)information fray? [krakatoa]

Kate at Small Dead Animals notices a peculiar thing when searching Google for things like "climategate", "climate hack", or "climate emails".

It used to be, up until yesterday, when beginning to type those queries the drop-down helper would show the list of most searched items. Yahoo has a similar feature. Go ahead and try both in Yahoo and Google, and you'll see the difference.

UPDATE: Google now shows "climategate" in response to typing "clim". 10.6 million responses, and for some reason Google's algorithms lost it.

It's not censorship, per se. This isn't quite Google China again. It does demonstrate though the occasional petty and intolerant actions of those who claim to trade in the free flow of information.

It also gives us a succinct way to describe our POTUS!

Obama is the most accomplished Muslim ever!

Posted by: Lao at November 29, 2009 9:13 PM

Wish I could get Obama to choke me!

Allahu Akbar, baby!

Posted by: Lao at November 29, 2009 9:23 PM

That wasn't me, that was "Lao". I prefer to be fisted, myself.

Posted by: Lao at November 29, 2009 9:25 PM

Poor little righties. Can't explain how not getting "climategate" on Google autocomplete prevented anyone from learning about the issue. No surprize since it didn't. But being unable to explain has never stopped Moonbattery from beating their breasts and howling over a phony "conspiracy" before, so why should it now? It's just as pathetically funny as it always is. Howl on.

Posted by: Lao at November 29, 2009 9:26 PM

If you'll now excuse me, I need to return to posting vitriolic spam under articles about Sarah Palin.

Posted by: Lao at November 29, 2009 9:29 PM

I hate Sarah because she's prettier than me in a dress.

Posted by: Lao at November 29, 2009 9:31 PM

Sarah Palin is so icky. I prefer less convincing female impersonators, myself. Janet Reno? Now you're talking!

Posted by: Lao at November 29, 2009 9:31 PM

Now if Sarah Palin could just generate a three-day stubble, you know, kind of an Yasser Arafat look, so she looked like your typical Muslim woman, then you've got something!

Posted by: Lao at November 29, 2009 9:34 PM

I figure after this thread Moonbattery administration might finally be ready to check IP addresses and identify "Lao". Go for it, nobody but "Lao" will mind. Unless he's part of Moonbattery administration that is.

Posted by: Lao, at November 29, 2009 9:37 PM

You'll have to pardon my cantankerous nature, I seem to have left my sense of humor in a trash bag with some American Flags back in Denver.

Posted by: J at November 29, 2009 9:38 PM

LOL!! J. did you just "out" yourself by mistake??

Posted by: Lao at November 29, 2009 9:41 PM

I keep forgetting that no one cares about me and my petulant whinyness.

It seems I am forever doomed to overestimating my existence or the value of my opinions and precious little feelings.

Gonna go hug my Obama Shaped pillow and have a good cry because I am not having my butt kissed.

Posted by: Lao, at November 29, 2009 9:41 PM

J, you're such a bitch! And you need a makeover too!

Posted by: Lao at November 29, 2009 9:45 PM

I am J. Or rather I was...

Posted by: Lao, at November 29, 2009 9:50 PM

There you go Moonbattery administration, compare the IP addresses for J. and for "Lao". Too, too funny!

Oooopsees J. Bwahahahahahaha!!!

Posted by: Lao at November 29, 2009 9:51 PM

Are you pre-op or post-op?

Posted by: Brandon at November 29, 2009 9:52 PM

Pre-op. Once I get lightened up, I'll make my play for Todd Palin. What'll Sarah Palin that I won't lack too?

Posted by: Lao at November 29, 2009 9:57 PM

Preop, sweetie.

Posted by: Lao, at November 29, 2009 9:57 PM

Lao, no one gives a hoot about your pathetic little crusade. You must be a masochist because you seem to get off on the abuse.

Here's a PRO-TIP: No one likes you or wants you here.

Quit being a poorly educated, far left wing, little hissy fit pitching sissy and _maybe_ that might change.

Posted by: Lord Monckton at November 29, 2009 10:00 PM

Crusade? You can say "crusade" to a Muslim? That's like saying "progress" to us. Infidel!

Posted by: Lao at November 29, 2009 10:05 PM

LOL!! J. did you just "out" yourself by mistake??

Guilty as charged. I can't resist satire. lol

Though I'm not the only comedian here. :)

Here's a quote for you:
