Sophia Elena's Tea Party Time Lapse

Time lapse footage gives an idea of the vastness of the crowd that converged on Washington yesterday to protest Big Government:

Now we know what Chairman Zero's nightmares look like.

While the MSM tries to spin the crowd size as "tens of thousands," the less biased foreign press is reporting up to 2 million patriots in DC alone — an absolutely staggering turnout.

Compliments of Sophia Elena.

well lets see...back after the fuss over the Million Man March, named after the 200,000 that actually marched as counted by the US Park Service, the Park Service decided to stop counting.....

now that there are 2,000,000+++ marching the liberals are counting 200,000

must be the Al Gore Global Warming math.....

Posted by: blue at September 13, 2009 5:39 PM

Obama was just on 60 Minutes (it was on at the restaurant my family and I were eating dinner at after church) and he dismissed the Tea Partiers as a mere circus act and cast Rep Wilson in the same light.

Some would call this arrogance but Chairman Zero is trying to downplay the unadulterated fear he and his fellow Marxists are feeling.

There was 60+ people in the restaurant with TV in all the dining areas set to CBS. The booing and the cat calling got the manager to change the channels toot sweet.

Out of the 60 booing were at least 7 black and hispanic families.

:)

Like 3 or 4 people maybe....

/ end lie / end distortion / end liberal

I actually started to get dizzy, that was a whole lot of people and I would have gone if Odumbo hadn't screwed up the economy so bad. I'm sure our communist posters who come here to prove how stupid they are will say something similar to my attempt at liberal idiocy.

Posted by: Michelle at September 13, 2009 6:07 PM

LOL Michelle, I chuckled when you said Obama screwed the economy up and then talked of how stupid some will speak. Now that's some funny shit.

Like all leftist drones, Andy has one card and he plays it over and over again. Do you honestly think you're going to keep being able to scream "racism!" for the next three years and have it have any effect?

Hey Andy, the Democrats gave wonderful lip service in opposition to Bush's spending, but were perfectly willing to participate. Now that they're in charge, all their supposed concern about deficit spending has gone down the memory hole. So do us all a favor and cut the crap, you miserable little robot.

Posted by: Evil Otto at September 13, 2009 6:18 PM

The Daily Mail doesn't seem very sure.

They have changed their headline from 2 million to 1 million.

The article now throws out several numbers

A million march to US Capitol to protest against 'Obama the socialist'

As many as one million people flooded into Washington

Tens of thousands of people converged on Capitol Hill on Saturday

They really don't seem very sure.

Keep up your condescending arrogance, socialist clown. Your number is up in about 14 months. HAAAA! Have you checked out Mr. Wilson's contributions lately, Commie Candy?

BTW Candy, Very few black folk are going to show up for important shit like this because it is you racists that have been giving them handouts for the last 40 some odd years. They don't no of any other way to live than what you dipshit libs have taught them. I have always said that if you keep feeding a stray it will keep coming back to the food source.

Posted by: Mr Evilwrench at September 13, 2009 6:49 PM

Nice inflation of the numbers, ABC even clarified their error. Politico has also reported conflicting numbers as well. But, you guys had a good turn out. Amusing to see the birffers, the tenters, the tea baggers, and all the anti-soshalism folks in one place. Fox "rawks"? I just had a spit take. The "You Lie" signs could held outside of Fox News. Hope you guys had fun in D.C., and your boy Wilson is losing ground and funds to Rob Miller, who did go and fight in Iraq.

Posted by: Ghost of Wellstone at September 13, 2009 7:04 PM

Reference? ABC doesn't clarify anything. Goatse, you lose again. Why do you even bother, it can't be that much money, and as much of a fool as you persist in showing yourself to be, it can't last much longer. Go take a shower, you smell bad.

Posted by: Mr Evilwrench at September 13, 2009 7:08 PM

I just wonder where this predominantly all white crew was when GWB and his 109th lapdog congress was spending us into a spiraling hole.

The spending hole that Chairman Zero quadrupled in his first three months in office?

Moonbat logic: If you didn't complain when Bush gave you a cold, you can't complain when Obama and the Democrat Congress gave you pneumonia.

your boy Wilson is losing ground and funds to Rob Miller

According to the most recent figures, Wilson has outraised his challenger by a significant amount. But it's fun to see the Democrats baited into pouring hundreds of thousands into a district they can't win purely out of spite that someone stood up to their Dear Leader.

Posted by: V the K at September 13, 2009 7:12 PM

Well, of course this rally was predominantly white. Whites are 87 % of the US population. Virtually every event that transpires in the US is "predominantly white". If it's going to be unacceptable to have "predominantly" white events, we're going to have to mass murder about 150 million people to get the numbers down.

V, you are largely pissed that conservatives lost big in 2006 & 2008. We are all concerned over the spending, however, you propose the status quo, where big business rips off the American people. You would rather the stymie the Government from helping citizens in need. You want to protest big spending? Get us out of God Damned Iraq and Afghanistan, which your boy "Dubya" got us into.

I was there and I know what a 100,000 people look like. Hotel full 40 miles away. Metro packed. People filled up side streets next to the mall.

This was of an order of magnitude greater, 2 to 2.5 million people.

Posted by: joshlbetts at September 13, 2009 7:24 PM

Dave, that is offensive and idiotic to suggest I hate our troops. Funny, I never get that resentment from soldiers I have met with, helped find work, helped on the campaign to provide homes to their families, or even the fall down drunk vets I have been a taxi for. And oddly, how many of you supported Adam Kokesh when he was protesting the war vs supporting him now in his run for Congress?

The nutty moonbats should be VERY CAREFUL from now until 2010 midterms. We are coming for your political mommies and daddies. BOO!!

Posted by: carmen at September 13, 2009 7:33 PM

Dave, explain this to me. If Fox is your savior for news, and the MSM is liberally biased and Fox has better ratings...would that not make Fox the mainstream? By your logic, the NYT, WAPO, ABC, NBC, and nearly every outlet for news is in bed with the White House? Politico is hardly liberal, Jake Tapper is hardly liberal, Joe Scarborough is hardly a liberal. Funny, war protests exceeded or matched your turnout in 2003 and in 2005, but the Washington Post put that story on the 3rd page of the metro section, and teabaggers were on the front page. Sounds like you have it backwards.

Posted by: Ghost of Wellstone at September 13, 2009 7:34 PM

Dave, again, you are wrong. By stating that Democrats and liberals hate the troops is nonsense. If that were the case, why would vets of Iraq and Afghanistan run as Democrats? There were some things said I did not agree with. There were crimes committed by some of our troops and they should be held accountable. However, I doubt Rob Miller would share your sentiment, or Jon Soltz, or Luis Montalvan.

Posted by: Ghost of Wellstone at September 13, 2009 7:38 PM

Ok, so ABC is saying they've been misqoted? Wholly farkin sheet, first of all, that doesn't go anything toward what the real number was, nevermind that ABC is a WHOLLY OWNED SUBSIDIARY of the post turtle white house propaganda ministry, and is therefore ETIRELY INCAPABLE of speaking truth to reality. If that's the best reference you have, I rest my case. You lose again, Goatse.

Posted by: Mr Evilwrench at September 13, 2009 7:38 PM

Got some news for you, Ghost. I don't have cable or satellite TV. I can't get fox at home and It's hard to watch it at work. I am thrifty and to busy to be hanging around to watch TV. I don't have the net at my house. I get my news from both sides. I see what ABC, NBC, CBS, MSNBC, MSN, YAHOO, FOX, and various other News medium are putting out. I draw my own conclusions and opinions for both sides. I watch the mainstream at home because that's all I get.

In short Ghost no news organization is my savior. I am a free thinking man that knows when he is being bullshited.

It's funny watching the Dems claim the DC rally was actually not that many people, as if they can just change the facts by repeating the lie. Anyone who was there, such as myself, knows it was incomprehensibly huge, probably the largest protest in DC ever, possibly the largest event in DC history of any type, including the Obama inauguration. I've been here since '87 and have never seen anything like it. Whether it signifies something important for the future, we'll all find out. But there is no denying what just took place. But perhaps that is why the vitriol of the trolls has gone so berzerk - they're rarely here, and even when here are under much better self-control, when things are looking good for socialism in America.

Posted by: mega at September 13, 2009 9:16 PM

Mega - Silly liberals will continue lying. They are completely delusional - they actually believe what they say. Liberalism is a proven mental disorder. They are confused to the point of self-genocide. They would rather die of AIDS than believe for a millisecond that homosexuality is fatal. They would rather have their silly heads sawed off on camera by a muslim fanatic than to believe there are terrorists who want nothing more than to do just that. They would rather give themselves wholly and completely to a totalitarian government that would ration health care and food rather than break a sweat to work for a better, free life.

And they want to force you and I to share their misery.

They are some sick, sick puppies.

Bottom line: the Reds are dead. Obama is a lame duck as we speak. He's finished. Done. He won't be able to get a resolution through Congress in support of motherhood.

The Blue Dogs now realize, if they didn't before, that Obama is radioactive, and cleaving unto him is absolutely guaranteed to necessitate a career change as of the first Wednesday in November 2010.

I kinda feel sorry for Obama. I really do. It's kind of like watchinge Pee Wee Herman fight Mike Tyson. The Reds groomed Obama for and pushed him into a position for which he was totally unsuited and unprepared, and now he's got to eat the next three years of shit. Only Jimmy Carter's pleased; he can die with the thought that he wasn't the unanimous choice of worst President of last century. It'll be a split decision between Jimmy and Barack, and Barack's just getting warmed up.

Posted by: Jay Guevara at September 13, 2009 10:34 PM

Posted by: Jay Guevara at September 13, 2009 10:42 PM

I didn't think anyone could top Jimmy Carter but judging by how stupid and out of touch Barack has so far proven himself to be I think in the next three years Barack is going to really screw things up. The man is dumber than the box the rocks came in. He's Jimmy Carter times a thousand.

Ron. Paul.

I've always been under the impression that Goatse doesn't have more than a bare minimum of understanding of what his opponents actually believe. This just confirms it. Posted by: Evil Otto at September 14, 2009 4:15 AM

Jay, your analysis of Obama's lame duck status is amusing. Blue Dogs are balking health care because they, like the GOP, are heavily funded from the health sector. Health reform WILL PASS I can assure you, with or without Blue Dog Dems but it will likely be without a public option and thru reconciliation.

VK, Bush didn't simply give us a cold but rather trashed a sound economy and yes, Obama's admin spent a lot of money slowing the Bush snowball to hell. But where were these folks when we had the GOP gone wild with our check book? There's just a big difference when you have a right wing machine consisting of Rush, Hanity, Beck, Armey, FOX, and corp funding selling a scary, smuggled in black Hitler in the White House.

Oh, and about that comment on Wilson's funding. It does strike me as a bit disturbing that Wilson's whoring himself on his site and youtube with "contribute to my effort to defeat the proponents of government-run health care." That kinda defies logic considering the health debate is on now and he's locked in until Jan 20 2011.

On Saturday, September 12, 2009, President Barack Obama spoke before about 15, 000 people at a healthcare rally in Minneapolis. A few hours earlier, a crowd of between 70,000 and 1,200,000 (at least) citizens gathered in Washington, DC to protest excessive federal spending and intervention. I think we can safely conclude that any Tibetan monk or Zulu, blissfully unaware of American politics, would nonetheless conclude that the second event was at least as newsworthy as the first.

Between 2:00 and 4:00 PM PDT of that day, I monitored the Google News website, which in recent years has acquired some of the aura of omniscient impartiality that the New York Times once enjoyed. As of 3 PM, here's how the two stories were treated:

"Obama Takes to the Road to Promote Healthcare Reform": 14,488 news articles

"Tea Party Protesters March on Washington": 126 news articles.

Anon is, of course, talking about coverage. Talk about denial!
