BO's activist political model is not Nazism or Communism, but rather apartheid. Conservatives need to understand this and abandon any vague comparisons of BO's motivations to loosely-defined pre-post WWII east European fascism. BO's speeches, proposals and policies can be clearly understood in the context of what he views as American apartheid. In order to get a true understanding of BO's intentions for the USA, critics of the current administration need to look to the dismantling of apartheid in Zimbabwe and South Africa.

To the left, apartheid defines the world's greatest evil. In this context, there is really nothing in an historical view of Hitler or Stalin or Mussolini that is useful for understanding BO's social activist platform. For the American left, invocation of these men merely functions as built-in caricatures for evil. Rather, justice and the true meaning of a perfect world social order for BO's generation manifests largely in racial egalitarianism. And it should be noted that in their view, and in practice, racial egalitarianism is achievable at the world level. The defining example of true social justice has been in the dismantling of African apartheid.

BO grew up in the age of Apartheid. It cannot have gone unnoticed to him that today both Zimbabwe (Rhodesia) and South Africa have transitioned from totally white to totally black rule. This relatively quick change of national racial dominance occurred not only due to the protracted and extreme pressure of world opinion, constant diplomatic efforts and continually harsher economic sanctions, but primarily as a result of internal policies set by the country's governments. The transition of power from white to black occurred under the approving and impressionable eye of BO and his generation.

When Robert Mugabe first came to power in Zimbabwe, he worked hand-in-hand with the white farmers who had produced great national wealth based on an agricultural economy. Mugabe initially recognized that he needed the whites and the infrastructure they had built in order to maintain a viable government and continued prosperity. Later however, Mugabe viciously turned on the whites in order to consolidate his political position with blacks. Subsequently, government supported groups (actually gangs of young blacks) assaulted and murdered many of the farmers driving them off their lands. Farmland was confiscated by the government and turned over in a disorganized manner to blacks who lacked the ability to maintain the agricultural foundation of the country's economy. Mugabe gradually assumed a strangle-hold on the Zimbabwe government as its economy deteriorated and dependency on foreign aid began to substitute for what was previously a viable economy.

Today, BO's policies can be clearly understood as a model for overcoming what he and many of his left-wing affiliates, e.g., William Ayers, view as years of apartheid in America. Wealth transfer has started and will continue in earnest under BO; for example, $35 billion to be paid to low- and moderate income families through state and local housing agencies finds a parallel in the redistribution of Zimbabwe's farmland to individual black activists. An even larger transfer of America's wealth has begun in the form of moving autonomous businesses to government control. Small businesses in this context will eventually be taxed nearly out of existence and most larger business will have to become partners with government in one way or another in order to survive. The deal made by the pharmaceutical industry with congress to support nationalized health-care in order to maintain a steady-state tax burden is a prime example. An attempt to suppress free speech of the large insurance company Humana, is another example of the fate of American business under the BO administration. There are multiple other examples of an overall transition of wealth currently in play, including nationalized health care, underwriting banks and mortgage programs, cap and trade legislation and a myriad of fund transfers in the form of grants to social organizations and universities.

America's left has as its agenda, the righting of past racial imbalances. This underscores practically everything that is being done today in BO's administration. In order to accomplish a massive redistribution of the system of American wealth from white to black, government control has to be ubiquitous. The success of the transfer of wealth and power from whites to blacks in South Africa and Zimbabwe was achieved under similar mechanisms. This has not been lost on BO and his generation of left-wing ideologues. The dismantling of American apartheid should reasonably be viewed as an all-consuming agenda for BO.

Just sayin'.

So, which one of you guys posted this little gem?

The crazies are getting crazier... who would have thought Meghan Fox would seem like the reasonable one? At least she just wants to get rid of the people who espouse this sort of behavior.

Posted by: Fiberal at September 28, 2009 9:04 AM- "BO's activist political model is not Nazism or Communism, but rather apartheid..."

This is essentially true. Many have yet to comprehend what the Hussein agenda really has planned for the USA, as the template is little known to most. Except that I would argue that his model is communist. Just filtered through a non-Euro, non-Asian prototype. His direct predecessors are communists.

Agreed, except on one important point. You are in danger of making the same fatal mistake that those in SA and Rhodesia did in regards their racial-communist masters- Giving Soetoro too much credit. Hussein's objective is not based on the DISMANTLING of apartheid, but rather the ESTABLISHMENT of it, in SA and Rhodesia (or, as it is known in gibberish- "Zimbabwe"), which is proceeding at a gallop, in it's new, marxist incarnation. But, neo-Apartheid is not the actual end goal. Just a step.

Perhaps. But some would argue that the "turn" was the intention from the get go. As it was, and is, in SA.

As has the communist ANC.

Sort of. But it is an overly generous assessment of their actual views, which are far less idealistic and far more cynical.

That's what their brochure says, anyway.

True. But that is far from the end of the matter. There is a phase-3. When, not if, the American replication of the African model follows through to it's inevitable destination remains to be seen. The demographics are different in America. But this is being worked on, via the borders. Just like in Africa.
