Moonbat Answer to Pledge of Allegiance

As seen in elementary school classrooms and available here, the Pledge Allegiance to the Earth poster:

As Glenn Beck put it yesterday:

Well, how about this one? This was sent in by a listener of the radio program. This is a poster that was in their child's classroom. Look at this. I pledge allegiance to the Earth.
We have people that want to ban the pledge of allegiance to the flag, but now, the teachers are trying to get the kids to pledge allegiance to the Earth? The Earth and the environment are the progressive replacement for God. This is not my opinion. Read about the early 20th century progressives.
You will bow. You will obey, and you will worship it. It is above you.

On a tip from Lyle.

Stupid fucking earth and animal worshipers. Well, they have their god Baal now too, its name is OBAMA.

"respect for all" accept of course conservatives, Christians, the elderly, anyone who doesn't agree with gay marriage, anyone who watches Fox, etc..

Another unveiling of the one world globalist agenda from crazed moonbats.

Posted by: FuckMoonbats at September 3, 2009 8:06 AM

And isn't it quite a coincidence that the earth worshiping moonbat's version of Christmas, otherwise know as 'Earth Day' also happens to be Lenin's birthday.

My God, these moonbats are evil incarnate.

Posted by: Doug at September 3, 2009 8:14 AM

lolz, this is exactly what happens when you abandon god.

Posted by: weewilly at September 3, 2009 8:18 AM

Ok, lets' follow this logic through.

We are just all 'inhabitants' of planet earth, our mother, in other words, we are just like our fellow Democrat-voting and socialist loving animals of the planet.

Republicans are fierce independent predators, wolves, big cats, raptors and Democrats are lemmings, sheep, sparrows and other forms of spineless low life.

System Lord Anubis is the only god of Earth. Tremble with fear upon the mention of my name.

Lightweights like Apophis, Ba'al and Yu are losers.

Posted by: Lord Anubis at September 3, 2009 8:31 AM

I don't have a problem with loving and saving the Earth, but where I part ways with liberals is in their thinking that we are all supposed to be members of a global commune, that we are here to help all others, instead of helping others to help themselves; that we sacrifice our industry in order to be environmentally correct while we hypocritically import all sorts of shit from China and their polluted rivers and air; that we somehow owe the rest of the world something because they can't seem to either invent it, govern it, manufacture it, regulate it, manage it, grow it, farm it, discard it, maintain it, or build it on their own.

One of the myths spread in leftist academics is that highly-educated civilizations naturally progress toward some higher moral order. But, history shows that advanced civilizations 'progress' just as ours is 'progressing' -- away from God and Truth, and toward some form of paganism, relativism, madness and self-destruction.

It's a matter of a mere alteration of mankind's natural religious inclinations. Now we worship the earth, the environment, tolerance, relativism, diversity... all the saccharine, sterile, and synthetic progressive virtues. This has always foreshadowed the death of a civilization. And it explains the historical truism: where there is nature worship, there you will find human sacrifice. The unborn, the elderly, the handicapped are willingly sacrificed in the name of 'progress'. The poster above is a deception because progressive ideology will never allow a pledge to "all the life".

From GKC:

"The first effect of not believing in God is to believe in anything"

"It's the first effect of not believing in God that you lose your common sense"

"You hard-shelled materialists were all balanced on the very edge of belief - of belief in almost anything"

Posted by: lvb-rocks at September 3, 2009 8:45 AM

"If a teacher does not involve himself, his values, his commitments, in the course of discussion, why should the students? "
....Paul Wellstone; intellectual lightweight and effete liberal senator from MN.

This kind of thinking is not innocuous by any means.
Rather, it is a kind of democratic-leftopathic battle cry.

The poster sends a similar message: i.e., do not teach facts in an objective manner...rather, teach what you personally, in your most ignorant and idealistic way, deeply feel. Geometry and sentence diagrams are boring and do not serve your purpose for progressive change. Emotion does. Always have your hair-trigger ready to fire against dissent or individual reflection. Threaten with the possibility of a hard-fast emotional outburst coupled with humiliation. If you don't know the rules and principles of the Great Saul Alinski....learn; read him, teach him, dig it.

Which is a ranting way of saying that once the Christian religion and the Pledge of Allegiance (to God and America) are excised from the daily, routine vocabulary of children, the left is more able to deeply infect children at a gut level with their extraordinarily vile doctrines.

"Searching for nothing in a void is rewarding because it's so easy to find and you can share it with everyone."

Slightly OT,

Ivb-rock is the above a Chesterton quote? I read that some where, might have been this blog, but with no attribution to whom may have said it. It sounds like something he would have said but I am certainly no expert on GKC.

“Give me four years to teach the children and the seed I have sown will never be uprooted.” ~ Vladimir Lenin

“When an opponent declares, “I will not come over to your side,” I calmly say, “Your child belongs to us already… What are you? You will pass on. Your descendants, however, now stand in the new camp. In a short time they will know nothing else but this new community.” ~ Adolf Hitler

...history shows that advanced civilizations 'progress' just as ours is 'progressing' -- away from God and Truth, and toward some form of paganism, relativism, madness and self-destruction.

All predictable if you just listen to what our Designer said about us: "For the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth." (Gen 8:21)

Psychology (the pseudoscience started by the incomparable Freud) denies this. You tell that to a moonbat, even paraphrasing so he doesn't realize it's from the Bible (which alone would drive him off the deep end), and he'll reply, "That's a very grim, pessimistic way of looking at people!" Not seeing he just answered a factual assertion with an emotional argument.

Debate the truth of it if you wish, but don't treat it like an insult. It's a statement that, if found true, invites you to a solution. "Mankind has an inclination toward evil"--true or false? If true, then the next question is, "What are we going to do about it?" That's a whole new ballgame.

But Progressives don't even want to play. The mere possibility that psychology (like global warming, like their views on race relations, and a list too long to fill here) might be wrong is anathema to them, and that's why the react as they do--with emotional responses privately, and with state-backed sanctions once they have risen to a position of public control.

-- son of a preacher man -- I haven't heard that quote and can't say if it's GKC. I'm no expert on Chesterton either, but I love reading him. Permit me two longish quotes from Orthodoxy:

"... But in neither case does evolution tell you how to treat a tiger reasonably; that is, to admire his stripes while avoiding his claws. If you want to treat a tiger reasonably, you must go back to the garden of Eden. For the obstinate reminder continued to recur: only the supernatural has taken a sane view of Nature. The essence of all pantheism, evolutionism and modern cosmic religion is really in this proposition: that Nature is our mother. Unfortunately, if you regard Nature as a mother, you discover that she is a stepmother. The main point of Christianity was this: that Nature is not our mother: Nature is our sister. We can be proud of her beauty, since we have the same father; but she has no authority over us; we have to admire, but not to imitate. This gives to the typically Christian pleasure in this Earth a strange touch of lightness that is almost frivolity. Nature was a solemn mother to the worshippers of Isis and Cybele. Nature was a solemn mother to Wordsworth or to Emerson. But Nature is not solemn to Francis of Assisi or to George Herbert. To St. Francis, Nature is a sister, and even a younger sister: a little dancing sister, to be laughed at as well as loved."

"The only objection to Natural Religion is that somehow it always becomes unnatural. A man loves Nature in the morning for her innocence and amiability, and at nightfall, if he is loving her still, it is for her darkness and cruelty. He washes at dawn in clear water as did the Wise Man of the Stoics, yet, somehow at the dark end of day, he is bathing in hot bull's blood, as did Julian the Apostate. The mere pursuit of health always leads to something unhealthy. Physical nature must not be made the direct object of obedience; it must be enjoyed, not worshipped. Stars and mountains must not be taken seriously If they are, we end where the pagan nature worship ended. Because the Earth is kind, we can imitate all her cruelties. Because sexuality is sane, we can all go mad about sexuality. Mere optimism had reached its insane and appropriate termination. The theory that everything was good had become an orgy of everything that was bad".

Yes, it is all explainable by the truth found in the doctrine of the The Fall. Certain new, secular theologians dispute Original Sin, which is the only part of Christian Theology that can really be proved. Take a look around. Saying that man is sinless, and that all can be explained through science or psychology, has failed to identify the source of the problem, which Christian theology solved centuries ago. They've created this imaginary worldly sinlessness, which they cannot see in their dreams, and then they deny human sin, which they can see in the street.

You guys are idiots.
On the Right, the marginalized have become mainstream.

Posted by: Longtime at September 3, 2009 11:02 AM

Another example of the moral and social bankruptcy of leftist educraps. These words were carefully, albeit stupidly, chosen by a leftist who wanted symmetry. By definition you can't pledge allegiance to an object like the earth, it has no direction. Allegiance is a devotion or loyalty to a person, group, or cause. In the Pledge of Allegiance, citizens ally with the republic for which the American flag stands, one nation under God, with liberty and justice for all.

Note there is no mention of liberty in this leftist pledge - socialists can't tolerate it. The reference to "with sustenance ... for all" is a thinly-veiled reference to opening a Pandora's box to cradle to grave freebies from Bid Daddy Government, like nationalized healthcare, where someone supplies all we need. That type of sustenance is not in the American tradition -- that is in the failed tradition of Leninist Marxism.

"loyalty or devotion to some person, group, cause, or the like."

because you don't understand it is just one reason you're an idiot.
and i mean that in a nice way.

Thanks Ivb-rock

Here is one I am sure you've come across...

"Progress is Providence without God. That is, it is a theory that everything has always perpetually gone right by accident. It is a sort of atheistic optimism, based on an everlasting coincidence far more miraculous than a miracle." GCK

No, we just don't require a government mandate and stifling taxation to do it

IVB and Preacher man:
"It's the first effect of not believing in God that you lose your common sense." [The Oracle of the Dog (1923)]

"You hard-shelled materialists were all balanced on the very edge of belief - of belief in almost anything." [The Miracle of Moon Crescent (1924)]

The guess is that the quote about not believing in god leads to believing in anything is an amalgam of the two quotes above.

All of these brain stems here care about is their own selfishness. They don;t care about people of color, they don't care about the Earth. All they want to do is whine and complain now that we have a REAL President who is going to change the levels of injustice in this country.

You know I've said this before, when we are fully in control of this nation, people like the conservatives here will be rounded up and sent to the camps.

They are holding back the species.

Posted by: Ghost of Wellstone at September 3, 2009 5:11 PM

Go for it Ghost of Wellstone. Try "rounding me up and sending me to a camp". You or whatever similarly minded leftist thug tries it will have a well placed .357 round in their chest.

My great grandfather was "rounded up and sent to a camp". I will not suffer that fate.

Posted by: metalgarth at September 3, 2009 5:25 PM

Wellstone- Whatever respect I had for you as a commenter has evaporated with your latest crazed, totalitarian fantasy here. There will NEVER be a day when the Psychotic left will force Conservatives into re-education camps. This country will burn in flames LONG before that even becomes a possibility.
