CNN Uses Communist to Promote ObamaCare

Obama's acolytes at CNN have dug up a doctor who advocates ObamaCare. Incidentally, she's also a communist who praises the squalid dictatorship in Cuba, which she thinks we should imitate. Via NewsBusters:

On Thursday, CNN aired a piece of Communist Party propaganda about how Cuba could serve as "a model for health care reform" in the United States, complete with an authoritative sound bite from an American medical expert, identified only as someone "who's lived and worked in Cuba for decades."
But the expert, Gail Reed, is a longtime admirer of the Cuban revolution, married to the Cuban official who served as ambassador to Grenada in the early 1980s when U.S. troops liberated the island from hardline communists who had executed the leftist Prime Minister Maurice Bishop. She's also worked at Granma, Cuba's official communist party newspaper.

Reed has been a commie for decades:

[S]he was profiled in the Miami Herald back in 1983 after she and her husband returned to Cuba after American forces liberated Grenada. She talked about the fear she felt at seeing U.S. Marines surrounding the Cuban embassy, and told the newspaper, "I feel I have a very strong identification with the Cuban revolution."
"When I first came to Cuba in the '70s, I was very impressed with their efforts in building a new kind of society," Reed explained.
According to her bio on the Huffington Post, Reed also worked as a Havana producer for NBC News in the mid-1990s.

That people like this populate the news media goes a long way toward explaining how Obama got elected.

Via The Real Cuba, here's what CNN's model for healthcare reform looks like:

I doubt anyone extolling the virtues of the Cuban system actually use the Cuban system. Hopefully when Michael Moore pops a vessel and hamburger grease spews forth the American doctors refer him to a Cuban cardio-vascular specialist.

Ouch... no hat tip for the REAL CUBA link?

OH NOES!

Just think... if not for the massive stupidity exhibited by moonbats, we wouldn't have Moonbattery.

Keep it comin' libtards. You provide for good laughs.

"Wherever there is a jackboot stomping on a human face there will be a well-heeled Western liberal to explain that the face does, after all, enjoy free health care and 100 percent literacy."

After being proven wrong about "universal health care", a Liberal poster on another site wrote "at least socialist governments PRETEND to care for their people".

Liberals, socialists and communists are such blind fools. That is, the rank and file CANNON FODDER are, their leaders have no delusions about what they are fighting for and reap all the benefits of total control.

Isn't Cuba running out of toilet paper?

The US Coast Guard interdicts Cubans all the time. Why are Cubans [risking] their lives in hopes of making it to America?

The military protects our shores. Why doesn't it protect our borders?

CAN YOU BELIEVE!!

The Democrats have found a source of support for their healthcare reform efforts. George Soros is going to pump $5 million into getting this thing passed. Soros Pledges

That people like this populate the news media goes a long way toward explaining how Obama got elected.

Damn right. (And damn [Jeremiah] Wright, while we're about it.) This is treason.

People just don't understand: A Marxist, a Communist cannot be a loyal citizen of the country in which he resides. That's because the ultimate goal of Marxism is the dissolution of all national identities and sovereignties in favor of a transnational world order ("The Brotherhood of Man"). To be a Marxist is to be at the very least a covert agent operating against the nation. In other words, treason ipso facto.

The barbarians are no longer at the gates--they're inside the city. Wait, there's more: One of them has been elected mayor.

They want to give us Cuban-style healthcare? You mean flying in surgeons from Spain, as they did for Castro? I guess we know what he thinks of Cuban healthcare.
