Chairman Zero Discovers Reverence

Some consider the Community Activist in Chief to be a punk, incapable of showing respect. This notion took firm root when he wouldn't put his hand on his heart for the National Anthem, back in the days when he sneeringly refused to wear a flag pin:

But it turns out BHO can show respect after all. Here he is in Moscow, at the tomb of the unknown communist soldier:

Maybe it's not his communist roots and backing that have him all reverent for a change. Maybe it's just that his uncle served in the Red Army. He would have had to, since Comrade Obama says he helped liberate Auschwitz.

That Marxist pig Obama really is one big piece of garbage.

Obama thinks the wrong side won the Cold War and is doing his best to correct it.

did you hear he also referred to putie-poot as "president"?

Posted by: nancz at July 8, 2009 7:23 AM

Yes, nancz, the ignorance of which would have the media howling if GWB or SP did it.

Zero is at -5 index today, boys & girls. The lowest ever.

Nancz--- that is perfect material for my "second rate porno" blog.

Thats funny.

He cant put his hand to his heart for the National anthem, in the country that he's president of.

Did'nt he also not wear a flag lapel pin?

I guess russia is differnt for him.

MINUS FIVE !!!!!!!!

I'm tempted to blame this on multiculturalism, but it's becoming obvious that he hates this country. He might learn to like it if he succeeds in fundamentally changing it, but no doubt he hates the principals values that made it what it is.

Posted by: forest at July 8, 2009 8:16 AM

OMG. Is this guy stupid? You place your hand over your heart in OUR country and for OUR soldiers you dumbass. I mean c'mon.

Where the hell are this guy's "handlers" and "advisors"?

Posted by: Pete at July 8, 2009 8:39 AM

I know, forest. It seems so weird to even think it: "Our president hates our country." I even used to kind of brush it off when I heard it on talk radio, like Mark Levin. But, it's becoming so obvious. He just cannot speak of the great and noble things we've done in our history. Just cannot. What a horrible, horrible "president."

The Democrats really scraped bottem for this POS. -5 and counting! Could it be the sheep have grown an immunity to kool-aid? I never thought it possible!

Putin's predecessors in the KGB did a great job of setting America up for this.
It is remarkable how much the black community in America have been radicalized by the communists into despising not just white America but nearly everything else about your wonderful country as well.
Lenin coined the expression "useful idiots" to describe those who could taken in and used by the communists to betray their own countries.

Yea this guy is clueless. Has he even been to OUR tomb of the unknown soldier? Does he know any soldiers? He got where he is because we have soldiers. He wont bring our solders home because he's afraid to have that many nappy's listers in one place.
Gotta go hurl now THANKS

A voice from Imperial Rome.

"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself.

For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear".

Marcus Tullius Cicero. 45 BC.

Ooo, those are some pretty nasty, pretty incriminating pictures.

That's certainly not what I think of under the banner of "Change We Need".

Some of the "moonbats" up above here said that the president "hates" the US; "hates" his country. Surely, that's a little steep. Okay - he's definitely not going to make friends with many ego-nationalists who cheer only for American hegemony and American social values (whatever that means) as if they're the only ones worth living for - or the opposite.

Come to think of it, he may even turn some people against him that used to think he was a pretty great guy. Soldiers in particular - after spending serious amounts of time learning that the flag is the icon of true patriotism, and that failing to salute is simply not an option - they will be understandably very disappointed - being polite about it - to see that first picture of his blatantly ambivalent, disrespectful, even absent-minded posture.

So ... ... is this about some willful, personal expression of individualism, to goad the masses (and the moonbats) at his presumption and ego? is it to stir debate? is it a deft, demonstrative jab at knee-jerk devotion to any and every cause, without mindfulness of purpose, or due consideration of a more inclusive view of human nature and the evolving global landscape? Short answer: Who cares?

My concern about Obama is that he sometimes treats the presidency like a new car - a Formula One in this case - but there's nobody there to help him learn how to drive it; they just "delivered" it and went away. It's too powerful for him (or anyone else that's driven it - or wanted to) and he's never had the opportunity to drive anything even remotely like it before. So, ... he has to learn it all by himself.

That, of course, is the ironic thing about "winning" the job he's got. There's a lot of horsepower there, mixed with some very tight curves on the track of world politics. (Hmmm ... is that RAIN up ahead?)

As President, It's a fine thing to create controversy - to stir the pot and shake things up, but in that unique job, one must continually to be seen not only as an eloquent statesman and judicious leader, but also as THE chief advocate for everything that America stands for (when it bothers to stand at all) - not merely as a genial participant, or an agreeable partner.

Regardless of these embarrassing faux pas, I like to think of Obama as a "populist" president, appealing to a broad cross-section of US culture, probably broader than any previous chief, and as one disinterested observer to another (okay, I'll speak for myself), my only audible comment on these seemingly paradoxical displays of sentiment (or lack thereof) could be reduced to, "Silly man; what WAS he thinking?"

.... come to think of it, he does look rather distracted in the first picture (US event) ... like he's not even paying attention to what's going on. Could it be gas pains ... or ...constipation...? ...or is he trying to work out the amortization table for 7.35 trillion dollars without his calculator.

Naahhh; it looks like a county fair. He's probably watching the cows feeding - not a common sight in Chicago ... ever since the fire!

My big hint to the prez: (Wake UP, dude - they're watching!!!)
