PETA Exploits Death of Tiller the Baby Killer

It's reassuring to see PETA maintain its usual standard of taste and classiness:

A national animal rights group plans to erect billboards in Wichita urging people on both sides of the abortion debate to go vegetarian.
One version of the billboard says, "Pro-Life? Go Vegetarian." The other says, "Pro-Choice? Choose Vegetarian." Both feature a photo of three baby chicks.
Lindsay Rajt, campaign manager for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, said the billboards were prompted by the recent shooting death of abortion doctor George Tiller, who was killed Sunday at his church.

Preaches Rajt:

We want to remind people that no matter where they come down on the abortion issue, each and every one of us can spare a life every time we sit down to eat.

Too bad for Tiller he's already in hell. He might have redeemed himself for all the babies he killed by going vegetarian. After all, a human's life is worth no more than an animal's, according to PETA.

On a tip from Gregory of Yardale.

Yeah but a cucumber is not exactly cute and cuddly and make ya feel guilty as the PETards would. Then again, chickens aren't all that cute and cuddly either, but damn are they tasty, especially sprinkled with lemon pepper and licked by flames over a hot grill.

Damn, now I'm hungry.

If PETA ever wonders why 99.9% of the thinking populace doesn't take them seriously they should step back and look at crap like this.

(Of course, "99.9% of the thinking populace only includes 49% or less of the total populace.)

An oxymoron(and a sick one at that): pro-"choice" vegetarian

Posted by: C-Bug at June 2, 2009 8:25 PM

these PETA jerk have no shame they will do anything to push their stupid vegan agenda on us i mean someone should sue these PETA idiots for this outrage SHAME ON PETA

Historical truism that bears repeating:

Where there is animal worship, there is human sacrifice.

I can imagine if some group like RIGHT TO LIFE had said this the mani-stream birdcage linners would plaster it all over their front pages but since it involves PETA you wont see a thing from these dirtbag journalists

Posted by: Flu-Bird at June 2, 2009 11:10 PM

This is low, even for PETA.

Posted by: Scaramouche at June 3, 2009 12:34 AM

PETA is a scam. These publicity stunts shake down money from gullible lefties. Other Idiot lefties do the volunteer work, sparing them labor costs. Meanwhile a few con artists at the top like Ingrid Newkirk live large.

How dare we tear the genitals from living creatures and eat them and the rest of the body as well.
PETA lied pumpkins died!!!!

Abel was right! God prefers meat!

Here's a video Ms. Newkirk may enjoy while euthanizing dumpstersfull of puppies!

PETA preaching about not killing animals is liken to Tiller preaching at a pro-life convention. NOBODY kills more animals (non-consumable) than PETA.

President Hussein pulled "Biden". OOPS! Or was it just an "accident".

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090603/ap_on_go_ot/us_us_nuclear_list

"WASHINGTON – The government accidentally posted on the Internet a list of all civilian nuclear sites and their activities in the United States.

The 266-page document was published on May 6 as a transmission from President Barack Obama to the U.S. Congress. According to the document, the list was required by law and will be provided to the International Atomic Energy Agency.

Some of the pages are marked "highly confidential safeguards sensitive."

While there is security at the facilities, the list could presumably be useful for terrorists or anyone else who would like to harm the United States."

Keith OlberMOONBAT down 30% in key demo ratings. LOL!

http://tvbythenumbers.com/2009/06/02/coutdown-with-keith-olbermann-posts-lowest-ratings-of-the-year-in-may/19862

"Whether it’s post-election cable news hangover and/or seasonal declines as the weather improves, Countdown with Keith Olbermann hit its lowest ratings of the year in May down over 30% in the cable news adults 25-54 demo target from January."

Yeah, right it must be THE WEATHER - O'REILLY in the mean time is mopping the floor with Keithy.

Anderson POOPER 360 is down 50%+

http://tvbythenumbers.com/2009/06/03/cnns-ac360-adults-25-54-ratings-fall-50-from-january-to-may/19935

"Yesterday we had a chart showing the ratings woes this year for Countdown with Keith Olbermann. Those woes aren’t Countdown’s alone. CNN’s AC360 is down almost 55% in the cable news target adults 25-54 demo from January to May, 2009. Why? Your guess is as good as mine."

Maybe because he is a MOONBAT? Albeit less of one than Keithy Boy, but not far behind.

OREILLY and GRETA both had gains. GRETA is up 50% since Feb. in 25-54 demo according to the stats on that site. OReilly is up 17%

Intelligent people tend to gravitate toward Fox News while Demosheep are lucky if they can figure out how to work their cable boxes - provided they even can afford cable.

I wish I were younger and in the TV business! Anybody with any semblance of a brain can see how to make lots of money here!

Just get somebody a little farther to the right of Glen Beck and stick him on MSNBC somewhere.
Not a religious type, no preaching about how God will send all the liberal abortionists to hell! Hell and damnation is for Sunday, in church!
A combination of Krauthammer, Daniel Hannan, Coulter and Michael Savage perhaps? Throw in a few smart newsbunnies like Megen Kelly for T&A and the ad money will be pouring in. Ratings will go through the ceiling! What am I missing here?
Nothing political here, just business! Money, isn't that what this is all about?

Posted by: Shooter1001 at June 3, 2009 7:01 AM

not to worry, peta - volunteers are stepping up to the plate to replace tiller.

when i say "tiller" i'm reminded of that machine that one uses to "till" a garden - turns and fluffs the soil to prepare for planting - "tiller" will now become "compost". strange.

Posted by: nancz at June 3, 2009 7:13 AM

Putting people on MSNBC and CNN farther to the right is the answer to their ratings woes? No, thats not the answer. FOX wins because the hosts of those shows put people representing both sides of an issue and let them debate the merits of their viewpoints whereas CNN and especially MSNBC usually put on people who agree with the hosts - MSNBC doesnt even pretend to be balanced any more. And even the hosts are hard to pin down - Beck is a Libertarian - fiscal conservative and social liberal and OReilly drones on endlessly about the big bad OIL COMPANIES !! Plus the FOX shows are simply more interesting to the majority of cable viewers.

Tiller Tiller the Roto-Tiller Baby Killer. To be enviromentally correct Tiller shouldnt be entombed in a casket and concrete vault, he should be buried in a burlap sack in a shallow grave in a community vegetable garden and after he decomposes a little, roto-till his remains into the soil. The bones would have to be removed first to avoid damaging the tilling machine.

Fox wins because they're 'fair and balanced'? With all due respect, I think not!
All Beckel ever does is piss me off with his 1930's hard drinking, white, ethnic old-time labor/democrat/tough-guy attitude. The lefty babes they wheel out just read the same party talking points over and over no matter what the issue.
Any resemblance to a real debate is farcical. The segments are too short. The guests, mostly the liberals talk over their opponents so that nobody is heard, probably their goal.
I'll admit, I watch FOX because they present the issues that interest me and that are given cursory review on the networks and the lefty cable channels. Their opinions and attitude for the most part, agree with mine! SO?
I think FOX wins because they are right-of-center, pro America, pro middle America and politically in tune with most Americans! People like to hear what they agree with and not constantly be told by PBS how we screwed the Indians and poor starving African babies are our fault and we're pissing on trees all the time and global warming is my fault.
I'll say it again, put a show on MSNBC that reflects the views of rural, suburban and red-state America and you'll make money. Pure and simple.

Posted by: Shooter1001 at June 3, 2009 8:28 AM

Would they care if someone ate George Tiller?

Posted by: Moonbat Monitor at June 3, 2009 8:43 AM

Fight fire with fire!

Erect signs with photos of partial birth and late term abortions, aka killing a living being, right next to them and let Americans judge for themselves. There is no defensible position an animal rights activist can take when arguing the sanctity of animal life vs. human life. And, yes it's a life because anyone that has felt a baby move in their's or their wife's stomach knows this to be true.

PETA IS SO LOW AND STUPID THEY WOULD NEED A STOOL TO RAISE THE IQs

Posted by: Cock-Robin at June 3, 2009 12:51 PM

According to some pantheists, even vegetable matter has a soul, a life force.

How now, brown cow? Er..PETA?

"PETA is a scam. These publicity stunts shake down money from gullible lefties. Other Idiot lefties do the volunteer work, sparing them labor costs. Meanwhile a few con artists at the top like Ingrid Newkirk live large."
And, they have been known to use some of that shake down money to fund ecoterrorist groups such as Earth First (Spit).
A couple nights ago, my family and I got a big 10- piece dinner from KFC. Great food, lasted us for days, and I had the satisfaction of knowing I was supporting a franchise that the freaks and dirty hippies at PETA despise.
