They say that both good and bad things happen in threes and within 3 days Johnny Carson’s sidekick, Ed McMahon, Charley’s Angel, Sarah Fawcett, and a severely disturbed child molestor and moon-walker have shuffled off this mortal globe.

I know little about McMahon or Fawcett, aside from the fact Ed served his country as a Marine and served Carson as second banana for 30 years and that Farrah bravely battled cancer for years. To mourning friends and family of both, I extend my sincere consolation.

To the family, friends, and fans of Michael Jackson, I extend a wish that they had extended moral support, a helping hand, or an intervention to the androgynous Michael long before he succumbed to a life as a pedophile. He beat that rap with his wallet but money will never salve the wounds of his young victims.

He was a very sick individual but, as happened with Elvis, his sycophantic family, friends, and fans chose to deny and ignore his sickness.

May all three, Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcett, and Michael Jackson, rest in peace, and may Michael have repented his child molestations prior to his shuffling off.

Michael Jackson now resides in a Neverland the likes of which he could never have conceived in his Earthly life.

I hope he enjoys heat.

Government Discriminatory Screwing of Normal Shacker-uppers

(Fifth in a series in recognition of New York City’s “Gay Pride Week”)

I’ve never been a member of any minority that I know of but I can now better empathize with the discrimination some minorities claim to suffer. Any discriminatory action must be painful to endure but when its source is the government of the United States it is not only painful but infuriating.

A recent article on The American Spectator, “Friends with Benefits,” by George Neumayr reveals the essence of that discrimination in a quotation from the Washington Post, “Barack Obama’s presidential memorandum that decrees in these dark days of recession new ‘benefits to partners of federal workers. . . . [the memo] does not cover domestic heterosexual partners.’ “

If you happen to be a heterosexual worker, you get didleysquat, nothing, nada, zilch in new benefits. They are reserved for homosexuals in the employ of our government.

The tipoff should have been the word “partners,” the preferred term for gay lovers who are, usually, shacking up. As Neumayr writes, “Heterosexual sinners need to hire better lobbyists, or hope that Obama soon finds in his impressively massive heart a new and richer understanding of their attempts at semi-committed love:”

A GAO employee, a lesbian and ordained “minister” Candy Holmes, told the Post she wants “to believe this is the beginning of equality.”

I must be missing something here. . . .

Which of our resident trolls was babbling about global warming must be real because even GE believed in it?

Irony of ironies: given that leftists go to heroic lengths to link to the profit motive anything that they dislike (e.g., Iraq War to make money for Cheney, who took a 99% pay cut to become VP), one time it's actually a valid point, and they miss it!

Posted by: Jay Guevara at June 26, 2009 3:40 PM

Totally agree. Moonbats have been dense beyond human comprehension about the hijacking of climate change / green by corporate interests such as (and now primarily) GE. When all is said and done, corporations including (and now primarily) GE will walk away with tens of billions in freshly minted profits and the temperature of the planet will be exactly the same. Leftards are usually so on top of corporate theft; in this particular case, they are totally out to lunch, blinded by their own religious fervor.

Posted by: mega at June 26, 2009 3:44 PM

Posted by: mega at June 26, 2009 3:56 PM

GE uses their media arm (CNBC, CNBC World, Chiller, MSNBC, USA and SCI-FI ) to sell global warming hysteria and propaganda with their "Green week" and global warming disaster movies ( - they also just happen to sell Wind power, Solar panels and CFC bulbs.) We then find out that GE is investing millions of dollars into healthcare management software, and also backs Obama's healthcare plan (shocker!)

Posted by: xantl at June 26, 2009 4:26 PM

and the temperature of the planet will be exactly the same.

True, but the really exasperating part is that leftists will take credit for averting a catastrophe that never existed in the first place.

CAP AND TAX VOTES: 2 Reps who didn't vote: Flake & Sullivan
Yes GOP votes:Bono-Mack, Castle, McHugh, LoBiondo, Lance, Kirk, Reichert, Smith

Of course, over 40 Dems voted nay... but the difference was with these RINOs. They won't like 2010.

Posted by: pomalom at June 26, 2009 4:43 PM

Alright, I just want to say something about Republicans and the Republican party here. I just got done watching an hour of C-SPAN leading up to the climate change bill vote.

The vote was 219-212. 8 republicans voted for it. So....if ANY four Republicans had voted against it, it would have died, along with the entire Obama revolution. That's right, Obama and his dreams of remaking this country as a socialist nanny state whose raison d'etre is to move wealth from the middle class to his entitlement groups could have been ground to a halt, and his aura of invincibility closed down once and for all, if FOUR republicans had voted against it. We would never have had to heard about "brilliant" and "revolution" and "most popular ever" ever again. It would've all been over, and we could have settled into the stalemated slogfest that the Founders had in mind for all the right reasons.

And yet eight Republicans voted for, and handed Obama a huge victory, both on the substance (pending Senate approval) as well as perception and image (not much affected by what the Senate does). These 8 repubs have helped Obama extend the sense of inevitable crushing dominance that will lead to wins on health care, education, and all the rest of it.

Where were the effing Republicans? How did they let this happen?

The Republican party is hopelessly lost. It's shameful, really. Being weak and fighting is one thing; at least you can respect those who are weak but soldier on. Being weak and submissively extending your neck to the blade when you don't have to is quite another. I effing can't stand today's Republican party.

Posted by: Atomic Lib Smasher at June 26, 2009 6:38 PM

I just clicked randomly on the ABC report when I googled this. You should see the comment section. On fire. It's not law yet, we still have fight in us. I don't how much I can do in NY, but will do my damned level best. Who was even in favor of this? I haven't ever seen one comment from a D or an R in favor. I smell money. Filthy money.

Posted by: Karin at June 26, 2009 6:39 PM

Posted by: nancz at June 26, 2009 6:56 PM

The main fault lies with the 8 RINO's. But the secondary fault lies with the Republican party. Aren't they supposed to be able to make deals, crunch heads, cajole, threaten, bring in some hookers and blow, all that stuff? How could they let eight of their own go off the reservation on such a crucial vote? I'm really discouraged with the Republican party. I blame the eight, but I also blame the guys who get out there on cable news and talk but can't seem to round up their own crew to get a job done.

Liar, Liar, Obama Pants on Fire

Google “Bush lies” and you get less than 3 million links. Google “Obama lies” and you get some 30 million links. What does that tell us? Nothing, and everything, about the nature and veracity of President Barack Hussein Obama.

Thirty million sources for information on the inaccuracies, distortions, misstatements, and outright, bald-faced prevarications could simply reflect the level of prevailing antipathy toward our forty-fourth president. Three million for Bush could just mean people are bored with George W.

Or it could mean Barack Obama in his brief public career has lied ten times more than George W. Bush. I imagine the lying truth about Obama is somewhere in between.

That would still suggest he has been caught in lies to the American people in the course of twelve years and five months as Illinois state senator, U.S. Senator, and President at least five times more often than Bush over his sixteen years as Texas governor and president.

That, of course, is a gross over-simplification and, obviously, not a scientific conclusion due to a number of variables, not the least of which is that boredom, the existing level of Obamian dislike and distrust, and the fact the current chief executive has published two books to Bush’s none.

It’s far easier to pinpoint lies on the printed page than it is to cull un-truths from speeches and statements over the course of years. Then, again, it was easy enough for bloggers and others to blabber their inanities about “Bush lies,” without ever backing up that slander.

Nevertheless, 30 million or 15 million are prodigious numbers and a fair indicator that where there are smoke, and mirrors, there very well could be substance.

Various websites have catalogued and enumerated what could easily be gathered into another lengthy book. Maybe title it, The Audacity of Lies or Lying Dreams from My Father, My Prevaricating Mentor.

Included among those sites is one which numbers 158 whoppers but, in fairness to Obama, . . .

I find it interesting that when the mood strikes, contributors here want to lean on the "moral ground" by denouncing homosexuality and the perverseness of the left. It's not rare to see leftist post attacked for lewd or deranged statements.
Yet I scroll up to Bryherb at June 26, 2009 10:05 PM and see an appalling display of an unwarranted attack to a blogger, suggesting said blogger enjoys performing oral sex on "that big black Obama schlong" and then would enjoy additional "schlong" in what one would assume to mean his rectum.
What I'm not seeing is any opposition from the same bloggers that would pounce on a lefty in a split second. Considering no one has a problem with it, obviously regulars here endorse it. Accordingly, this speaks volumes of the true moral position of contributors here. If the statement is from someone on your side, regardless of how crude, obnoxious, or immoral it is, it's ok. But if it's from the opposition, seek out any iota of nastiness and attack the typical left of being homo loving, possibly pedophile, or any other accusation that you can come up with.
This double standard of course comes as no surprise. The thing is, it's consistent with what this blog is.

At least it's one notch short of it. Chris Matthews has that tingly feeling running down his leg fantasizing about Obama. I'm sure Chris would love a some sloppy seconds after Obama's done with paget. I make no apologies about my comments. I give back and reciprocate what the screwy left says about about the right and I'm sure that screwy left is not used to having someone like me slap it right back on them with compounded interest. So suck on it hard moonbats, and when yer done suckin' on it, just suck on it a little bit longer. So andy, if yer so gun ho about folks being rude and nasty to each other. I want to see a case where you have denounced a lefty being crude to a righty. I'm sure you never have and you sit there in front of your monitor rubbing you hands in mastuerbatory glee when the left attacks so crudely.

Phil Spector, Justice Served, Justice Denied

What do you do with a girl named Maria? Compared to the question of what do you do with a prisoner named Phil Spector, the answer is challenging. In Spector’s case, you give him whatever he wants!

Spector was finally convicted of second degree murder of a defenseless woman, six years after the fact and almost two years after his first trial ended in a hung jury. All the while the accused killer was free on a one-million-dollar bail.

Sentenced to 19 years, the 69 year old Spector is serving his time in a private cell at the medium security California State Prison at Corcoran, in the “sensitive-needs” section.

However, it seems that in addition to being sensitive, he’s an unhappy camper/inmate. He wants some bennies, some amenities to make prison life more comfy and tolerable.

Word is he will get them:

Anyway, it’s not as if he committed treason or a crime against society or anything like that. He merely snuffed out the life of a woman by putting one of his various pistols in her mouth and pulling the trigger, only once though.

Granted, too, his victim, model and actress Lana Clarkson, wasn’t the brightest crayola in the box . . .

Q: How do you think conservative talk radio has affected the Legislature’s work?
A: The Republicans [legislators] were essentially threatened and terrorized against voting for revenue. Now [some] are facing recalls. They operate under a terrorist threat: “You vote for revenue and your career is over.” I don’t know why we allow that kind of terrorism to exist. The intention of the socialists was made clear by the wording in HR 1955. It was only a matter of time before such statements surfaced to prompt the next step.

"...(3) HOMEGROWN TERRORISM- The term `homegrown terrorism' means the use, planned use, or threatened use, of force or violence by a group or individual born, raised, or based and operating primarily within the United States or any possession of the United States to intimidate or coerce the United States government, the civilian population of the United States, or any segment thereof, in furtherance of political or social objectives."

Gays Love a Parade

(Fifth in a series on New York City’s “Gay Pride Week)

Unfortunately, the weather outside doesn’t look like it will cooperate for New York City’s “Gay Pride Parade” on Sunday, June 28th.

Scheduled to be off-and-on cloudy and sunshine-y, showers and T-storms may hold off until the post-parade festivities. I had been hoping for a deluge, an inch or so of drenching rain, preferably accompanied by severe hail and a tornado or cyclone or two.

Hope springs eternal, though.

Even so, based on prior parades, my hoped-for forecast would not put much of a damper on gays, lesbians, bi-sexuals, trannies, and other misbegottens from strutting their sick stuff up Fifth Avenue.

It may not be as memorable as the one in Brazil but it sure as hell will be one outstanding exhibition of queer exhibitionism and will fulfill the ultimate goal of all gay exhibitions, getting kids to sign on as new recruits and suckers.

And this one is a biggie, celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots when gays left their closets en masse and began to spead their message, their sickness, as well as various diseases, thoughout the land and the planet.

Since the Stonewall outing, queers have been assiduously enticing, enlisting, seducing, and corrupting kids. A little rain or heavenly-sent thunderboomers won’t deter them from that appointed and cherished task.

Without new, young queer recruits, gays would end up as lonely shriveled, aged, diseased, gay queens desperately seeking equally lonely, shriveled, aged, diseased and desparate homosexuals, and we certainly can’t have that.

They need kids to live and thrive!

The “Honorable” Governor of New York, David Patterson, will be one of four Grand Marshalls. I’m all but certain the equally honorable president of the United States was invited but he may have been busy in Washington setting the plate for the rest of the ongoing gay agenda.

So, what’s in store for the morrow? Well, who knows? In Chicago an entire elementary school was enlisted to support and march in that city’s gay pride parade. As is well known, elementary age students are very keen on discretion.

One Windy City parent, Laurie Higgins, did have the nerve to object:. . .

AlphaMail, you seem to be implying that by quoting someone's vulgarity, for the purpose of discussing how objective it is, makes that person equally guilty. You seem to be an intelligent blogger so surely you're not lowering yourself to such childish, petty, or non sequitur nonsense.

KHarn, you seem to belittle me for not seeing the urgency of our present state of the union. Well, I'm responding to a forum with an Obama doll basically making fun of him for using a teleprompter, misquoting 57 states, promising tax cuts (that are unlikely), and attempting to distance Bush from the situation.
To insist that I support Obama for fear of being labeled a racist is grasping. It's just an attack strategy that you guys like to use when you don't have any other argument. It's akin to responding with something like "yeah, well your mom wears combat boots so take that!!!". It's childish and you have no evidence to base that assumption on.

Dave, "Angry hate filled wonder you idiots are abused by those on this sight". Perhaps you can enlighten me on the protocol for rational discussion on this site.

"andy42302 at June 28, 2009 6:39 AM"

You have voiced no objections on any of the political articals on this site. You have even defended Hopey McChange and his cronys when their crimes were discussed. By NOT voicing any objection to crimes against society, you are giving IMPLIED consent.

You are either a COWARD or you AGREE with these things.

Posted by: KHarn at June 28, 2009 7:32 AM

KHarn, perhaps if you'd elaborate on said "crimes", I would discuss that. I'm all for talking relevant policies, legislation, and any breach of the law. If you're wanting me to join in with you attacking our leadership with names like "Hopey McChange", cheer leading his teleprompter errors, or terrorist/Muslim/Marxist/Hitler innuendos, I'm not interested.

The only reason andy42302 is here, is to do his best to poke us with sticks. I usually say "feed the trolls," but in andy's case I think it best to pass over anything he posts.

Posted by: Kevin R at June 28, 2009 10:30 AM

I just love it when trolls like Andy want to have a "RATIONAL DISCUSSION" when they feel threatened or agitated. Strike a nerve Andy, did I?

LOOKY LOOKY!!!! Andy has just displayed more liberal hypocracy just take a look at his post @ June 28 2009 @ 7:59am. What the hell do you think liberals have been doing the past 8 years to the Bush administration? The whole liberal establishment was bashing the leadership yet you try to come across like you were never part of that name calling and bashing during the Bush years. Are you trying to protect your KING WITHOUT CLOTHES? Must be those glazed over eyes of yours. Who the hell are you kidding? You are just as guilty Andy so stop with your liberal bullshit.

I can't have a rational discussion with irrational people in denial.

Andy's credo.....I can do it but you can't.
Typical liberal thought process.

Dave, I've never claimed to have gone easy or soft on GWB. I think that he's the nearest thing to an anti-christ that we will ever see. But understand something, I don't despise GWB because he's a Republican or even because we don't share ideologies. I despise him and his Rove/Cheney/McConnell machine for what they done. I blame them on specific legislation, acts, and dishonesty. In my writings here and elsewhere, I challenge you to find where I've protected said King in Clothes as you've accused me of. So who's really full of shit Dave?

Posted by: andy42302 at June 28, 2009 12:33 PM

You still are Andy, there's no doubt about that.

Take a closer look at the Obama Administration.

I'm sorry wrong word....not protected but worshiped.

I see more of...."we can do it but you can't", Andy. Can you refrain from doing this Andy because you sound liked a typical liberal jackass.

Posted by: Dave at June 28, 2009 12:39 PM

By the way....I always thought that Bushed was a christian. He made no bones about that he was. Why do you think that Bush was so close to being the antichrist. Take a closer look at Obama and his minions and what do you see Andy? Take a good look at his friends and his followers. What do you see? Remember before engaging in such activities you must take off your liberal Obama worshiping blinders and put the kool aide down. Try yo be impartial Andy. I know it's hard for a liberal but please try.

Posted by: Dave at June 28, 2009 12:55 PM

Bush's actions speak louder than his claim of being a Christian. I understand that you Dave, as well as many here disagree on those actions being wrong. I think he and Cheney exploited 9/11 and used it as a tool to attack Iraq. This was for profit and also served as his only vehicle for reelection. I think that's enough in itself. But then there's the promoting of water boarding that gave misleading confessions that helped build a connection with Saddam and OBL. Aside from his war on fear, there's leaving the country with a staggering $10 trillion debt, 8 years of a total disregard to our laws as well as any form of honesty, the highest level of corruption and cronyism in history, our reputation around the world a total disgrace, the demise of habeas corpus while disregarding the Geneva Convention, Plamegate, Abramoff, the Libby pardon, domestic spying, unsubstantiated use of signing statements, people out of work, highest home foreclosure in history, doctoring scientific reports, detainee torture, the politically-motivated firings of U.S. attorneys, illegal domestic surveillance, the theory of the unitary executive and the unprecedented assertion of executive privilege, mission accomplished/last throes, $4.5 gal gas, a total disregard if not disdain for the working class, the majority of America and the world hating him, and the economy spiraling out of control. Other than that, maybe he wasn't that bad.

Posted by: andy42302 at June 28, 2009 1:47 PM

Wow Andy you are really still stuck on Bush. Just can't get over that can you?

High home foreclosure came from Barney, pole smoker, Frank. Fare lending act ring a bell. Go To the thread "How we got here" and rethink Andy.

High gas prices...Take a look at congress and that leadership during that time, Democrat.
Nancy Pelosi ring a bell. Weak dollar mean anything to you? Does Not letting us drill for our own oil bring you to reality

Water boarding...It beats the hell out of cutting fingers, toes, nuts sacks, arms, and legs off.
It's fucking water being poured on you until you are scared shitless and start chirping like a canary. Don't forget there is a doctor present during the time.

The Economy you say? Better look to the democratic leadership again on this.

Firing attourney general.....what did Obama do with the inspector general Andy? HMMMMMMM.

More of the same old liberal hypocracy.

More of,We can do it but you can't, liberal bullshit. Andy the democrats have their finger prints all over this financial melt down but you fail to believe it. You are in DENIAL!!!
Barney, pole smoker, Frank has a lot of his finger prints all over this economic mess along with other democrats in the banking committee as well.

Stop blaming the past when the problem is in the present.

Maybe this will jog your memory.....the bush that freed over 50 million people from a tyrannical dictator.

Remember the guy who gave millions of dollars to fight aids in Africa. I think it was the largest aids funding of its time.

Posted by: Dave at June 28, 2009 2:34 PM

I love how liberals disregard the fact that pilots, and special forces are given interrogation resistance training (note" "interrogation" not "torture") that includes being waterboarded under much harsher conditions (cold water and outside) than what we gave any of the three terrorists that were waterboarded.

I wish we could "board" these terrorists with liberal dipshits like Andy, instead of gitmo.

Posted by: xantl at June 28, 2009 2:43 PM

Dave, you want to have a rational discussion? Cool! I'll touch on a few of your points as I'm sure folks aren't interested in my long windiness. If I omit some important to you, how about giving, say, something a bit more than your simple say so and I'll gladly respond, mkay?

"Wow Andy you are really still stuck on Bush. Just can't get over that can you?" Uh, you specifically and outright asked me why I hated him. Did you not? Did I misunderstand the question "Why do you think that Bush was so close to being the antichrist"? I'm honestly trying to stay with you here Dave so if that question meant I should have praised Bush, obviously my fault.

"High gas prices...Take a look at congress and that leadership during that time, Democrat". Uh, ok, let's take a look Dave. Does the term "legislation" mean anything to you Dave? Let's look at the Republican controlled 109th Congress, you know, the guys in power when gas skyrocketed. The truth is, the Republican controlled Congress repeatedly voted against cracking down on price gouging, defeating Democrats efforts. (HR3893, Vote #518, 10/7/05; HR3893, Vote #517, 10/7/05; HR3402, Vote #500, 9/28/05; HR6, Vote #118, 4/20/05) Wonder why? Perhaps the $8.6 million in campaign contributions from oil and gas companies with 84% of it going to Republicans could be a clue.

"Weak dollar mean anything to you? Does Not letting us drill for our own oil bring you to reality"-- Let me be clear on this Dave, as to eliminate any possible misunderstanding of what I'm saying. The drill-baby-drill mantra was implemented in hopes of exploiting the fears and frustrations of Americans being raped at the pumps. Everyone knew and still knows that the math isn't there to make "drilling here" lower the pump price by any substantial amount; then, now, or in the future. The only reason it was pursued was because it would make the oil companies more money and would insure more oil money contributions to the GOP. That's it. It will not lower the pump price by any reasonable amount. That's the undisputed fact. I challenge you to prove me wrong. When you have a nation on its knees pleading for relief, it's easier to sell them this pie-in-the-sky nonsense.
High oil prices may very well return. Allowing Big Oil to randomly poke holes at will in order to lower $5 a gallon gasoline by 3 to 20 cents a gallon is not the answer. We do have an opportunity to use technology and other resources to address this issue.
If I'm not mistaken, the people have soundly rejected the fear mongering rhetoric of the GWB era. May that era (or error) RIP.

"Water boarding...It beats the hell out of cutting fingers, toes, nuts sacks, arms, and legs off.
It's fucking water being poured on you until you are scared shitless and start chirping like a canary. Don't forget there is a doctor present during the time."------ Your description Dave, sounds a lot like torture. But ok, just to humor you, let's say (although I disagree) that the word "torture" is questionable; "torture lite" if you like. Why isn't it used every day by police agencies around the country Dave? Wouldn't it stop a lot of drug dealers? Gangs? But, we abide by something called "laws". You see, to America, The Constitution is much more than what Bush referred to as a "goddamn piece of paper" and we live by it. Oh, an spare me the "ticking bomb" scenario. It never happened and if you want to play/tend like it did, supply something more than your say so cause frankly, your say so don't seem to have a great deal of credibility.

"You know Jay the one that kept us safe from anymore terrorist attacks"---- Such a specious argument Dave. Seriously. This non sequestur dressed as logic always amuses me. You're trying to take credit for something you can't prove by giving Bush credit for all the bad things that did not happen.

"Remember the guy who gave millions of dollars to fight aids in Africa"----- I remember a guy that gave a State Of The Union Address instilling fear on Americans about Saddam's "rape rooms" in order to sell his war, which was totally irrelevant. At the same time, he was completely ignoring the atrocities of Darfur where government controlled Janjaweed were burning villages, raping at will, and pulling babies from mother's arms and tossing them in bonfires. If it wasn't profitable for him, those folks meant nothing to him. So, forgive me if I fail to see this humanity that you do.

xantl says "I wish we could "board" these terrorists with liberal dipshits like Andy, instead of gitmo.". I have no doubt that you truly wish that.

I didn't think a liberal like you was capable of hate Andy.

Take off the blinders Andy.

I think that law enforcement should use water boarding on hard criminals. We should stop pussy footing around with this scum. Andy the information that you come up with to me is suspect. Why you ask? It's because the facts that you get is more than likely gathered from the liberal mainstream media or liberal blogs. We all know that these information mediums are skewed to the left.

Posted by: Dave at June 28, 2009 4:21 PM

Oh yea.....didn't the Dems vote to go to war with Iraq?

Illegal war you say?

Bush's war?

Seems like the Dems supported Bush, Andy.

Blinders off and kool aid down please.

You can put that stuff next to your hammer and sickle.

Posted by: Dave at June 28, 2009 4:26 PM

Dave, for starters, I watch a variety of news channels and read many newspapers and blogs, both left and right. It would might serve you well to do the same.
Question; Do you just randomly throw some gibberish out there in hopes that everyone will just take you at your word? Or is it that everyone here just naturally stands behind what any fellow wingnut spews be it right or wrong? You state "High gas prices began during the democratic party take over of the country, Mkay." But Dave, you're wrong. The Dems were elected to power in November of 2006 and took control in January of 2007. Now, I'm not even going to bother to google (but I guess I can if you like) but gas was creeping up prior to hurricane Katrina which was in August 05. It was Jan 05-07 when we were under a Republican House, Senate, and White House. The links I gave you fell in that era. You're free to look it up. The bill #, vote #, and dates are all there. I can assure you my contribution #s are correct as well. Blinders said the kettle?

Dave, copy and paste where I said "illegal war", mkay. Can't do it can ya? There you go spewing any gibberish you like regardless if it has merit. Copy and paste please. Tap, tap, tap,,,,,. ? No?

Yeah, I do refer to it as Bush's war. There's a lot to be said about the implementation of the iraq invasion. Remember The Gulf war? Remember how Dems scoffed at it? Remember how it was in and out? Remember the promises of the Bush Admin on Iraq? Remember 9/11? There were a lot of variables in the Iraq invasion. Many Dems were at the mercy of the false intelligence they received. Remember Plame? They had constituents that were weighing the fear. Yet, yet, the Senate vote consisted of a majority GOP and about half Dems.

Ok, still waiting on where I called it illegal. Tap.

Posted by: andy42302 at June 28, 2009 4:51 PM

You're right about Katrina and gas...I stand corrected. Most of the oil refineries were knocked off line.

I watch the left news all the time because that's all I get on my T.V. I don't have cable or satellite. They make me sick on how biased they are.

What I contribute is from what I see and here...just like you Andy. I consider the shit you throw out there gibberish as well and when you do you are just like any other leftist...condescending as hell. You, like most liberals, think that you're so special. In retrospect you're not. You guys, liberals, display child like behavior, when you don't get your way then the debate becomes nasty and mean spirited in your opinion. The point is is that liberals are never wrong and stuck up people who act over educated when in reality you're just a bunch of whiny college freshmen brain washed by your far left professors.

Not only Bush chairman, but republicans. Andy still has his blinders on and won't take them off. He won't acknowledge the Democrickets short comings in all this mess. Them Democrickets got their finger prints all over the failed economy yet people like Andy keep screaming Bush and republicans.

Andy you really aren't as smart as you let out to be.

Posted by: Dave at June 28, 2009 5:06 PM

Dave, I appreciate you acknowledging the price hike era. Yeah, I suppose I become condescending and accordingly, plead guilty. I think I've become more defensive when posting here. Maybe it's from dealing with folks like Jay that's just out to destroy anyone that disagrees with him, regardless of right or wrong. Believe it or not, I'm open to many of conservatives ideas but just don't do well with rhetoric. Hat tip.

"Illegal war you say?" ?
Uh, no, I didn't. But thanks for asking.

It works both ways.

Very good.....Thanks Andy! You answered the question to the point. Most liberals won't give a straight answer. All liberals that I come in contact with insist on calling Iraq an illegal war when it's not. i know where you stand on this issue.

Oops..sorry about the double post.

Posted by: Dave at June 28, 2009 5:29 PM

As much as I disagree with the Iraq invasion, I shudder when I hear war opponents refer to it as illegal. It's like they've just shot their own argument in the foot or just tossed any credibility out the window. I misunderstood you question as a statement and I knew that no where in any of my writings have I've referred to it as an illegal war.

Posted by: andy42302 at June 28, 2009 5:38 PM

Actually the Democratic Congress came in promising action against rising Gas, and energy prices - which they did, they passed legislation that made both of them more expensive - Democrats in action.

So are you going to answer the part about American Soldiers being waterboarded Andy, or is it too much to ask you to dissect the real issues? Should we just leave you to making tired generalizations about "BushCO" and "Halibacon" everyone here has already heard for years, it gets rather trite, you know?

Posted by: xantl at June 28, 2009 5:51 PM

xantl....don't forget about the cap and trade bill they passed which would make energy and fuel even more expensive.

Posted by: Dave at June 28, 2009 6:01 PM

xandl, what bill are you referring to? I think I know but want to be clear.

Training soldiers to withstand torture doesn't justify torture.

So, being fair, is it justified or rational to assume that's it's ok to expect any Jane/John Doe citizen to withstand anything that say, any top military special forces to be able to withstand? Not too much to dissect is it? Also, why not use this same technique in everyday law enforcement?

Posted by: andy42302 at June 28, 2009 6:15 PM

The bill(s) I am talking of are the mandate for utility companies requiring them to generate using no less than 15% renewable energy, and the blocking of domestic drilling (You might recall as soon as the announcement was made the price of oil started rising.)

Withstand torture? That must be some of the famous reading comprehension you're famous for Andy, if they were training Soldiers against torture don't you think they would be beating them with hosepipes, pulling out their teeth with pliers, sticking soldering irons into orifices, cutting them in joint areas? So just so we're clear its called "interrogation resistance" got it? not torture.

Andy you're the quintessential liberal: WHY NOT TREAT TERRORISTS LIKE CRIMINALS? I'll tell you why : you might have heard about a guy called Khalid Sheik Muhammed - he's the uncle of anther guy you've heard of Ramzi Yousef who was arrested after the 1993 WTC bombings, a relationship not known thanks to the Democrats Gorlick wall, and treating terrorism like a criminal investigation.

Posted by: xantl at June 28, 2009 6:28 PM

Did you miss the Pilot part? they are not "top special forces" but I think you know that.

Posted by: xantl at June 28, 2009 6:29 PM

xantl, you seem to insist on me answering your questions yet you evade mine. What's up with that?

Posted by: andy42302 at June 28, 2009 6:37 PM

Which question did I specifically not answer? I assume this is yet another ploy to get out of answering.

Posted by: xantl at June 28, 2009 6:41 PM

You corrected me on your interpretation of torture and proceeded to give me the regular liberal chastisement spill. However, you didn't answer if ordinary citizens should endure what the military does. Also, why not use this same techniques in everyday law enforcement? These are not trick questions by the way.

Posted by: andy42302 at June 28, 2009 6:51 PM

It isn't my interpretation of torture the SERE course is called "Interrogation resistance" it is YOU that insist on calling it torture. Address the fact(s) is it torture when it is used on soldiers by our own Government? Why do they use waterboarding but not cutting / burning / beating / strangulation all methods that captured soldiers have been tortured with? Why if it is not reliable for information, do they teach soldiers to resist it?
No one is advocating using waterboarding on civilians or captured soldiers, why do you insist on comparing terrorists to civilians? did you miss the fact that the majority have been trained in combat / explosvies / torture and guerilla war?

Shooting from the hip with unsubstantiated gibberish seems to run rampant here. Backing it up is indeed another story. You guys just can't seem to make it happen.

Posted by: andy42302 at June 29, 2009 6:06 AM

I'll take that source you have from a reputable media outlet now Andy. It is an indisputable fact that you are either a liar, or a gullible moron that cannot backup your claims - I'll let the folks here decide which.

Posted by: xantl at June 29, 2009 7:16 AM

I'll copy and paste the same response I gave you on the other forum:
There are many stories across the blogs everyday that never make it to CNN, ABC, etc. An example would be last week when FOX showed Rep. Gov Mark Sanford giving his adultery confession speech, they listed his name at the bottom of the screen as (D)Mark Sanford (wasn't their first time for this type of propaganda either). Of course, it was all over the left blogs. I noticed however that none of the network news aired it or mentioned that FOX wrongly portrayed him as a Democrat. Does that mean it didn't happen? No.
The GD piece of paper incident supposedly (I wasn't their to hear it personally) in the Oval Office and was confirmed by Doug Thompson who also had 3 people (unnamed for obvious reasons) who said they heard it too. Does that mean it did not happen? We really don't know and that's likely why news networks couldn't air it. Does that mean I pulled the accusation out of thin air? No. It is interesting that Bush nor anyone in that office that day has ever denied it.

It is amazing however, that that's the best distraction that you can come up with.

So I guess by your definition xantl, unless it's documented by 3 major news networks, that means I made the whole thing up right? Ok, you got me you crafty devil you.

Posted by: andy42302 at June 29, 2009 7:59 AM

Is that really the best you could do? Bush chokes on a pretzel and the whole worlds news media reports it -- but your claim that he said the Constitution is just a "Goddamn piece of paper" has ZERO media coverage? lol gtfo troll.
