Despite House Vote, Global Warming Hoax Begins to Collapse

Although the House just passed a bill that would plunge the country into a depression in the name of global warming, in other countries, even bureaucrats are starting to admit that it is a hoax.

Steve Fielding recently asked the Obama administration to reassure him on the science of man-made global warming. When the administration proved unhelpful, Mr. Fielding decided to vote against climate-change legislation.
If you haven't heard of this politician, it's because he's a member of the Australian Senate. As the U.S. House of Representatives prepares to pass a climate-change bill, the Australian Parliament is preparing to kill its own country's carbon-emissions scheme. Why? A growing number of Australian politicians, scientists and citizens once again doubt the science of human-caused global warming.
Among the many reasons President Barack Obama and the Democratic majority are so intent on quickly jamming a cap-and-trade system through Congress is because the global warming tide is again shifting. It turns out Al Gore and the United Nations (with an assist from the media), did a little too vociferous a job smearing anyone who disagreed with them as "deniers." The backlash has brought the scientific debate roaring back to life in Australia, Europe, Japan and even, if less reported, the U.S. …
The number of skeptics, far from shrinking, is swelling. Oklahoma Sen. Jim Inhofe now counts more than 700 scientists who disagree with the U.N. — 13 times the number who authored the U.N.'s 2007 climate summary for policymakers. Joanne Simpson, the world's first woman to receive a Ph.D. in meteorology, expressed relief upon her retirement last year that she was finally free to speak "frankly" of her nonbelief. Dr. Kiminori Itoh, a Japanese environmental physical chemist who contributed to a U.N. climate report, dubs man-made warming "the worst scientific scandal in history." Norway's Ivar Giaever, Nobel Prize winner for physics, decries it as the "new religion." A group of 54 noted physicists, led by Princeton's Will Happer, is demanding the American Physical Society revise its position that the science is settled. (Both Nature and Science magazines have refused to run the physicists' open letter.)
The collapse of the "consensus" has been driven by reality. The inconvenient truth is that the earth's temperatures have flat-lined since 2001, despite growing concentrations of C02. Peer-reviewed research has debunked doomsday scenarios about the polar ice caps, hurricanes, malaria, extinctions, rising oceans. A global financial crisis has politicians taking a harder look at the science that would require them to hamstring their economies to rein in carbon.

The global warming hoax is on life support, being kept alive only by a rigorous if ridiculous campaign to suppress reality. For example, a top expert on polar bears was banned from speaking for not being willing to pretend that the man-eating beasts are endangered by our lawnmowers:

Over the coming days a curiously revealing event will be taking place in Copenhagen. Top of the agenda at a meeting of the Polar Bear Specialist Group (set up under the International Union for the Conservation of Nature/Species Survival Commission) will be the need to produce a suitably scary report on how polar bears are being threatened with extinction by man-made global warming.
This is one of a steady drizzle of events planned to stoke up alarm in the run-up to the UN's major conference on climate change in Copenhagen next December. But one of the world's leading experts on polar bears has been told to stay away from this week's meeting, specifically because his views on global warming do not accord with those of the rest of the group.
Dr Mitchell Taylor has been researching the status and management of polar bears in Canada and around the Arctic Circle for 30 years, as both an academic and a government employee. More than once since 2006 he has made headlines by insisting that polar bear numbers, far from decreasing, are much higher than they were 30 years ago. …
Dr Taylor had obtained funding to attend this week's meeting of the PBSG, but this was voted down by its members because of his views on global warming. The chairman, Dr Andy Derocher, a former university pupil of Dr Taylor's, frankly explained in an email (which I was not sent by Dr Taylor) that his rejection had nothing to do with his undoubted expertise on polar bears: "it was the position you've taken on global warming that brought opposition".
Dr Taylor was told that his views running "counter to human-induced climate change are extremely unhelpful". His signing of the Manhattan Declaration — a statement by 500 scientists that the causes of climate change are not CO2 but natural, such as changes in the radiation of the sun and ocean currents — was "inconsistent with the position taken by the PBSG".

Once again we see that global warming has nothing to do with science, and everything to do with authoritarian liberal politics. Anyone who still doubts it needs to watch The Great Global Warming Swindle.

Not oppressed after all. But we will be, if Cap and Tax gets through the Senate.

Sunspots are helping to demonstrate the fallacy of computer modeling.

FYI: CO2 leaches from ice, just like oil leaches from rock. Erroneous data fed into computer models, makes for incorrect conclusions.

But please, don't let facts get in the way of a liberal agenda. The polar bear population is actually growing.

ENVIROMENTAL DEFENSE a shamless bunch of eco-freaks putting on misleading and fruadulent TV ads using kids about this GLOBAL WARMING poppycock and listening to T BONEHEAD NOSEPICKER is enough to try the patians of a saint

Obama claimed that the average American would not bear the brunt of this historic tax-increase: he stated that instead "“It is paid for by the polluters who currently emit dangerous carbon emissions.”

Just compare this outrageous falsehood to Ronald Reagans' famous quote:

"The most dangerous myth is the demagoguery that business can be made to pay a larger share, thus relieving the individual. Politicians preaching this are either deliberately dishonest, or economically illiterate, and either one should scare us.

...Only people pay taxes, and people pay as consumers every tax that is assessed against a business."

And after the way the rammed this through the House with little debate, without legislators even reading it... and while quarantining the GOP from any meaningful input whatsoever, any foolhardy individuals who still believe Obama's threadbare "bipartisanship" spiel ought to have their head examined.

JoeShmoe, don't cry, I think that's actually an anti-GlobalWarming-enviro-wackjob-Obot-protester with his guts ripped out. They're not an endangered species yet.

Report: Nasa GISS is rewriting U.S. climate history!

Here you will find a comparison of old data versus new.

Q: Which eco-terrorist and [head] of NASA GISS, just got arrested for blocking access to a coal processing plant?

A: Dr. James Hansen

Australia had been losing (winning?) in the moonbattery stakes until the financial crisis.

If that's what it takes to do away with ETS/cap-and-trade, I'd almost say it's worth it.

And (hoping against hope), Kevin Moonbat Rudd's government may hinge on whether the ETS passes or not.. The pasty moonbat "Christian socialist" may be out sooner rather than later.

Now if only we could convince John Howard to come back.

Part of cap and trade states the government will come in and check your home to see if it energy efficient before you can sell it. New doors and windows, government standard insulation and energy efficient appliances will have to be installed before you can sell. No mention as to what happens if your home has a historical landmark designation, I guess you're stuck in the home forever. When people start burning their homes for insurance money to make all the upgrades required and all of our homeowners insurance rates go through the roof along with our energy bills you'll see a real housing bust then.

Subtext under the polar bear photo on iceberg, as per the History Channel’s series, “Life after Humans”:

“I believe I am the only survivor of the Spotted Owl plague which hit Mexifornia and then circled the globe three years ago. This could be my last photo since my human-embryo battery is finally giving out. This polar bear is one of the two million Columbia University cloned bears, which grew to massive 25’ sizes, and then escaped after being fed Gorelent Green Formula. The bear, photographed in the Gulf of Texico, just off the coast of Tallahassee, Floruba, has been spotted traversing the ice floes eating the last of the penguins coming across from Cancun.

As everyone knows by now the ozone created by electric cars decimated the Europeans, and the fallout over Iran eventually wiped out the Chinese. And sadly our world leader Kim jong Il and his subcabinet of ex-Massachusetts senators, were the last to go. Prior to that ex-President George X. Bush had put up a valiant effort to save the U.S., but if you recall, we were the only country to not tap our oil reserves for heat, and once the Mississippi froze over, it was over.

The zealot moonbat Marijuana Party led by transvestite vigilante ringleader, Perez Pelosi-Boxer, claimed victory over the small Democratically installed 29 member bi-sexual U.S. military force, as the moonbats stormed and destroyed the last of the 40 highly productive fusion plants, claiming the plants had emitted too much water vapor and had added to global cooling…………..that bear is sure looking at me funny……….…….wait a sec……….…..what’s that behin…………”
