At Least They're Consistent

NewsBusters has collected some of the witless wisdom of Newsweek editor Evan Thomas:

"Well, our job is to bash the president, that's what we do." — Evan Thomas responding to a question on whether the media's unfair to Bush on the TV talk show Inside Washington, February 2, 2007.
"I mean in a way Obama's standing above the country, above — above the world, he's sort of God." — Evan Thomas on Hardball, June 5, 2009.

The more things Change, the more MSM journalists remain moonbats.

What a poor excuse for a journalist.

Ha ha! Thank God for Newsbusters!

Its a huge blindspot for liberals... you can show them documented evidence of agenda driven propaganda offered as "journalism" and they still can't see it...

Conservative: "Look! Documented in their own words, right there in front of your eyes!"

Liberal: "I dont see anything, bsides, it's all Bush's fault!"

=o)

The DUmmies at the DU keep saying that the MSM are right wingnuts. Their logic is that these outlets are corporations. Corporations are rich and obscenely wealthy. Therefore, MSM is right wing. End of story, next topic.

I think Evnas is dyslexic, what he meant to say was that Obama is sort of a dog.

How is it that trusting, gullible hero-worshiping sycophantic white dweebs like this can still glorify BO even after he's handed them a predatory racist for the supreme court?

guess I answered the question.

Hey, Newsweek - nice knowin' ya!

Proof that some moonbats don't fly too far from their ancestral cave:

Not surprisingly, Evan is the grandson of Norman Thomas, a leading American socialist, pacifist, anti-Israelist, and six-time presidential candidate for the Socialist Party of America, who is attributed with this (unfortunately) prophetic gem:

"The American people will never knowingly adopt Socialism. But under the name of 'liberalism' they will adopt every fragment of the Socialist
program, until one day America will be a Socialist nation, without knowing how it happened."

http://quotes.liberty-tree.ca/quote_blog/Norman.Thomas.Quote.FFB1

Unfortunately Norman can't quite be cannonized by liberals, because he also said this one "If we are not to be overwhelmed by the 'rising tide of color' we must breed against the world."

Yeah, well, I'm just waitin' for Brandon to come along and explain how this is all perfectly normal and not evidence of any kind of partisan agenda at all.

You'll be bowing before the God of Mutts pretty soon. Remember, you're just a useful white idiot!
Those black boys gonna have fun with you, boy!

A FEW of them might have some amusement from the muzzle flashes. Briefly.

They need to change their magazine name to NewSpeak.

Really, who reads or watches these morons any longer? Obviously, the drones are in love with the state-run media, since they extol the virtues of the Socialist state and its Maximum Leader, Barack "Idealogue" No-obama, but real Americans no longer give a damn about what the formerly main-stream media think or write.

Since Evan Thomas is so far up Barry's rear-end, perhaps we could provide him with a flashlight?

No-one does. Newsweak just cut its subscription in half and increased its cover price -- and, in that issue's letter from the editors, basically said that they're hoping people will find it in their hearts to pay less than a dollar a week for the 'new' Newsweek, otherwise they're screwed.

The more things Change, the more MSM journalists remain moonbats.

Love it :)

The truth is, if these small-minded liberals want to worship their little fake brown god, let them. He is, after all, their own.

But when they begin forcing their religion on me, all bets are off!

Now... WHERE have you heard THAT before, hmmm? Silly little liberals SCREAM when they hear a Christian say "Jesus" out loud, while at the same time forcing their stupid religion of OAM (Obama/Abortion/Marxism) on everyone else!

How do you spell hypocrite? L-I-B-E-R-A-L

And the worthless silly little bastards wonder why everyone laughs at them! MOONBATS! LOL!

Screw every last one of the little Marxist totalitarian bitches. I'll be happy to let them openly worship their little brown dumbo-eared-baby-killing god, but they won't let me worship Jesus openly - THAT is why war is eminent.

A Kool-Aid guzzling, moonbatty co-worker once said to me (and this is a direct quote) "The (news) media isn't liberal, progressive maybe, but not liberal." She was either lying or being naive, perhaps both.

Graycat
You can take it as a safe bet that if she's a liberal, she's lying.

Greycat,

E.J. Dione just wrote a column where he actually said the MSM was run by the Far Right.

After reading that I became certain that we really need to take back control of the asylum.

And on a set day, having been clothed in a regal garment, and sitting on the tribunal, Herod made a speech to them. And the mass of people cried out, The voice of a god, and not of a man! And instantly an angel of the Lord struck him, because he did not give the glory to God. And having been eaten by worms, his soul went out.
(Acts 12:21-23)

I'm always fascinated by the rationales they come up with for claiming the media is right wing.

(By the way, posting a link to the opensecrets.org employer search pages for msnbc, NYT etc., to show that their employees exclusively donate democrat, is a good way to get tombstoned over there.)

One of the most entertaining DU posts on pro-conservative bias I read was based on an interview that ABC (I think) did with Joe Biden.

They asked Biden if he still stood by his earlier comment that the Surge in Iraq had failed, natch, he ranted on with some crap and didn't really answer the question.

Anyhoo, the DUmmie who posted the article took issue with the interviewer (think it was Gibson), for asking Biden tough questions that were related to the war, and accused him of being a 'partisan hack.'

The rationale for this accusation was along the lines of: "how can ABC claim to be unbiased when they're asking Biden tough questions about the war, instead of interviewing the actual war criminals like Bush and Rove?"

That's right: the fact that, during an interview with Joe Biden, ABC asked Joe Biden about the war, rather than asking George Bush about the war (and calling him a war criminal), was evidence to this DUer that ABC are (Republican) partisan hacks.

My head started hurting after that so I didn't read the rest of the thread.
