National Healthcare? Working well on AirStrip One!

"After receiving nearly a dozen alerts of extraordinarily high rates of patient deaths, the Healthcare Commission launched an independent investigation of Stafford Hospital. It just released the report of its findings. It and the reports from thousands of patients and families in UK paint a disturbing picture of what is being described as “Third World” conditions in the hospital."

"Massachusetts’ experiment saw growing shortages of doctors within the first year and began rationing and cutting services, as it faced insolvency. In New Mexico, where the administration’s push for a similar system is especially intense, hospitals are already so short of young nurses, that Presbyterian Hospital recently introduced a new program to pay entry-level employees with no medical background to take an online associated degree course and get their nursing degrees by next May. The hospital hopes to fill 350 nursing vacancies. Reducing education standards for medical professionals will put warm bodies on the floors. Will they know what the squiggly lines on the cardiac monitors mean, either?"

Obama: The Gift That Keeps on Giving All Year Long

"Kolan McConiughey, a Special Olympics competitor who has bowled three perfect 300 games, tells TMZ that the Prez has to score a lot higher than 129 to beat him. Kolan says he bowls an average of 266.

Kolan -- who works at a grocery store in Ann Arbor, Mich. -- said he'd love to go to the White House to beat Barack on his own lane. Kolan said, "He's cool, but he can't beat me."

We posed the challenge to the White House. They said "no comment.""

Lowered Expectations Hit Home

So much for yesterday’s “Comedy Break” and now for some reality checks:

U.N. Never Ceases to Amaze: Reuters reports the United Nations plans to recommend dumping the dollar as the world’s standard, “in favor of a shared basket of currencies:” // Coming just a week after the Secretary General of that august body on the banks of New York’s aptly-polluted East River declared the United States “a deadbeat” nation,, the timing and irony couldn’t be any better. Secretary General Ban ki-moon first kicked sand in America’s face by calling us deadbeats after half a century of our keeping that useless excuse for an international organization above water with over a trillion dollars, an “expert” U.N. panel now wants to bury us by undercutting our dollar as the world’s reserve currency. Is there anyone left out there who still doesn’t understand that the pack of thieves, charlatans, and murderers sitting in the General Assembly and Security Council don’t exactly have America’s best interests at heart? My suggestion for the U.N. building is to use it as a demo site to show the effects of a volcanic eruption.

Nancy P., Illegals’ Best Buddy: Loudspeaker of the House Nancy (Bella) Pelosi has calmed the tremulous nerves of millions of illegal aliens in our country by assuring them they will always have jobs and a place of refuge on our shores and that enforcing immigration laws is “un-American.” She then threw a bigger bone to the legal and illegal immigrants she was addressing by saying they were “very patriotic:” How’s that again? Nancy the Vapid went on to ask the rhetorical question, “Who in this country would not want to change a policy of kicking in doors in the middle of the night and sending a parent away from their families?” Not only did she sound very much like Rep. John Murtha lying about the tactics of our troops in Iraq but her plaintive sucking up to future Democratic voters ignored the plight of currently unemployed voters. Fair is fair. To her credit, Pelosi apparently convinced the administration that screwing injured vets wasn’t politically profitable:

Teleprompter to Obama: Wait for Instructions, Please!: America’s first honest-to-goodnesss TPT (Teleprompter) president, Barack Hussein Obama, went on a much ballyhooed Leno “interview” last night. Obama babbled on,...

Heard the special olympic bowling champ is challenging POTUS to a game on his own turf (whitehouse lanes), wonder if the usurper-in-chief will take him up on it. Maybe the b-ball champ could kick his ass too. Bet 'that one' couldn't beat any of the special olympians.

last night I was deeeeeply, horrifically offended. After voulinteering at Special Olympics, and watching those kids pour their hearts out, and the glory they achieve after WORKING to be the best, to be minimalized by this empty suit is beyond the pale.
hang your head in shame you faker. Hussien should work a few Olympics as atonement and get a heart. Organize this.

Barney, Antonin, and Homophobia

Poor Barney Frank seems upset and when Mr. Frank is upset all able-bodied people, especially those of the masculine gender, should tread very softly.

He lately seems to have his tightie whiteys in a wad over Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia because, he alleges, Scalia is a “homophobe” and has “too many votes on this current court:” Fool that I am I always thought each justice had only a single vote.

Barney is actually perturbed over Antonin’s undue influence on SCOTUS, I guess, and he would be hesitant to see his pet projects brought before that court as presently constituted. With four solid conservative, pro-life, pro-tradition justices–Scalia, Thomas, Alito and Chief Justice Roberts–Barney doesn’t feel his projects would get a fair hearing. (Thank you, God for Presidents Reagan and Bush!)

Even the presence of arch-liberal, pro-abortion, pro-homosexual Justices Ginsburg, Breyer, Souter, and Stevens isn’t good enough for Congressman Barney since Justice Kennedy swings both ways, so to speak.

How Ol’ Barn swings is the real issue. Suffice to say, as a proud homosexual who isn’t timid about proclaiming his “gaiety,” he doesn’t swing with the heterosexual crowd and those pet projects all relate to the homosexual agenda.

As he moaned in a video interview on,, Frank was quite frank about his lack of confidence that SCOTUS would now overturn policies and laws that he finds totally reprehensible, i.e., policies and laws on which most Americans concur.

They include Bill Clinton’s gutless, “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy which basically instructs the military not to ask if someone is gay and advises gays to keep their mouths shut about their proclivities. Frank links that policy to a hate crimes bill that he wants passed and upheld by the highest court in the land. Another bug in his bonnet is the Defense of Marriage Act, DOMA, in essence a law which re-affirms, as if re-affirmation should be necessary, that Americans believe that lawful marriage is and can only be a union of one man and one woman:

(Incidentally, points of information for those who don’t keep up on these things: “Hate crimes” are crimes deemed by influential activists to have been committed out of hatred and are therefore treated as more heinous as opposed to crimes committed out of affection, such as Bernie Madoff’s multi-billion dollar scams and crimes such as treason, for example. One other clarification: Etymologically, “homophobe” means “fear of man,” and “gays,” another word homosexuals have twisted to their preferred meaning, actually refers to a fear, and not their “love” of man.)

Barney has now become a very powerful man in the Democrat-controlled congress and has risen to the post of Chairman of the House Financial Services Committee, a perch he has held since 2007 just as America’s finances began to implode, with the chairman’s invaluable assistance: Barney, that inveterate advocate for the common man felt that any man, common or not, should be entitled to own his own home, qualified to pay back his mortgage or not, and for years defended Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac as being in outstanding financial shape, true or not.

But Barn has high hopes and, like that ant that could move a rubber tree plant, Barn is confident that with President Barack Hussein Obama now at the helm of our ship of state he can now get his homosexual agenda past all those fuddy-duddies on SCOTUS. . .

That NBC staple, "Law & Order" still comes up with some good lines. The story arc for the most recent episode included a potential defense witness who had been convicted of espionage.

Scene before the courtroom bench:

Defense attorney: "Mr. Cutter's suggestion that national security trumps..."

Prosecuter: "It's not my suggestion. Has your honor read the U.S. Attorney's amicus brief?"

Judge: "I have. I thought with all this hope and change in the air, we were past this national security nonsense."

"We still don't live in a land of unicorns and hobbits, your honor. We still have enemies."

Army Investigating How and Why Troops Were Sent Into Alabama Town After Murder Spree

( - The U.S. Army has launched an inquiry into how and why active duty troops from Fort Rucker, Ala., came to be placed on the streets of Samson, Ala., during last week's murder spree in that tiny South Alabama community. The use of the troops was a possible violation of federal law.

“On March 10, after a report of an apparent mass murder in Samson, Ala., 22 military police soldiers from Fort Rucker, Ala., along with the provost marshal, were sent to the city of Samson,” Harvey Perritt, spokesman for the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) at Fort Monroe, Va., told on Monday.

“The purpose for sending the military police, the authority for doing so, and what duties they performed is the subject of an ongoing commander’s inquiry--directed by the commanding general of U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command, Gen. Martin Dempsey.”

TRADOC is the headquarters command for Ft. Rucker.

House adopts plan for 'volunteer' corps
Also requires new evaluation of 'mandatory' service for all

The U.S. House of Representatives has approved a plan to set up a new "volunteer corps" and consider whether "a workable, fair, and reasonable mandatory service requirement for all able young people" should be developed.

The legislation also refers to "uniforms" that would be worn by the "volunteers" and the "need" for a "public service academy, a 4-year institution" to "focus on training" future "public sector leaders." The training, apparently, would occur at "campuses."

The vote yesterday came on H.R. 1388, which reauthorizes through 2014 the National and Community Service Act of 1990 and the Domestic Volunteer Service Act of 1973, acts that originally, among other programs, funded the AmeriCorps and the National Senior Service Corps.

It not only reauthorizes the programs, but also includes "new programs and studies" and is expected to be funded with an allocation of $6 billion over the next five years, according to the Congressional Budget Office.

U.S. HIV Cases Soaring Among Black Women

He was, Precious Jackson said, a very fine black man. He was 6 feet 2 inches tall with an almond-milk complexion, dreamy dark eyes and a deep voice. During their nearly two years together in Los Angeles, he was the sunshine of her life, even though he had a habit of landing in jail and refused to use a condom when they made love.

"I didn't ask him any questions," Jackson said in a recent interview. "I didn't ask him about his sexual history. I asked him if he had been tested, and he said one test came back positive but another one came back negative. I was excited to have this man in my life, because I felt I needed this man to validate who I was."
