Compliments of Diversity Lane.

Says it all, don't it?

Every really important effort should be diluted under the cause of 'diversity' just to appease some little person who has to feel big.

Update on America’s White Cowards

From the Better Late than Never Department: More than two weeks ago, new Attorney General Eric Holder ripped into White Americans for their cowardice.

“Speaking to a Justice Department group observing Black History Month, the new AG said, ‘Though this nation has proudly thought of itself as an ethnic melting pot, in things racial we have always been and continue to be, in too many ways, essentially a nation of cowards:’

Two weeks is a long time to allow such an incendiary, racist remark to fester, yet fester away it did until Holder’s boss, President Barack Obama finally saw fit to comment on it. Considering the mild slap on the wrist administered by the boss, it may continue to fester until someone calls on Obama to elucidate his remarks.

The AG had gone on to say, “Americans still self-segregate on the weekends and in their private lives,” but all Obama could muster up was, “I think it’s fair to say that if I had been advising my attorney general, we would have used different language.”

Asked if he agreed with Holder’s racial putdown, according to the International Herald Tribune, Obama ”hesitated for five seconds before responding” then said, “I’m not somebody who believes that constantly talking about race somehow solves racial tensions. I think what solves racial tensions is fixing the economy, putting people to work, making sure . . .” Yada, yada, yada:

What language would you have used to express that sentiment, Mr. President? And why the long hesitation before responding to whether or not you agreed with Holder’s inflammatory slur? No teleprompter available? And why take two weeks to mull over the AG’s racially-charged words in the first place? If Joe Biden had said that Black people were pusillanimous would you have taken a fortnight to censure him and would you have been so timid in doing so?

That wimpy rebuke did nothing except send another signal that, as far as this administration is concerned, racism is a one-way street on which a Black Attorney General may speed along slandering Whites but Whites had better just shut up and move to the back of the bus.

We now have an openly RACIST government. Thanks, Liberals.

As for the cartoon, before 1970, not only would any lawyer worth his shingle have told the plaintif that he/she had no case, but that they should start THEIR OWN club if none would take them!

(Golly, Grandpa! Thoses were sure barbaric times!)

George Lucas supports taxing the rich - please note that he is NOT rich

George Lucas fully supports President Obama’s approach to the current economic problem. He feels that there should be caps on the salaries of bank executives who are accepting government bailout monies, and he feels that the rich should be taxed at higher rates than those with lesser incomes.” “How much money, you were saying you didn’t make?”

George Lucas: “$500,000 a year – man, that’s a lot of money. You know? I have to make a nickel at a time. You know, I have to have people come to the movies, and then when they go to the movies, I get my nickel. I don’t get a giant salary.”

Jon Krohn, the Face that Scares the Bejesus Out of Liberals

“Some men are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them”– spoken by Malvolio, a humble butler in Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night

Jonathan Krohn may not be neatly pigeonholed into any of those categories or all three may apply. It’s really too soon to tell.

Krohn is a meteorically rising star, to blend superlatives, in American conservative, not necessarily Republican, circles. He has written and published a book, Define Conservatism for Past, Present and Future Generations, he has appeared on a number of talk shows, he has spoken, along with the likes of Rush Limbaugh, at the recent 2009 Conservative Political Action Conference, CPAC, and shows all signs of being a major force in politics for many years to come.

Krohn does have a few minor liabilities on his resume’: He still still wears braces, may or may not have a girl friend, has to be driven wherever he goes , and has those pesky homework assignments to complete. You see, Jon just turned 14. His original Facebook pic:

His philosophy? “Krohn has outlined four principles on which he believes conservatism is based: respect for the U.S. Constitution, respect for life, less government and personal responsibility:” That works for me as does his CPAC speech which got him a well-deserved standing “O:”

Now, we’ve all heard of child prodigies before most of whom flame out before adolescence but Jon has already hit that threshhold and shows no signs of flame out. Indeed, quite the opposite is true since he has already ascended so high that, when still 13, he had already become fodder for liberal attacks from such shameless defenders of the vulnerable as Jon Stewart.

The soon to be defunct New York Times, which used to report on “all that news that’s fit to print” and in recent years has been reporting “all the news that fits,” was more circumspect in its article on Jonathan, guilefully titled, “The Little Mr. Conservative,”

Although both the title of that piece and its placement in the Times Sunday “Fashion and Style” section could be interpreted as efforts to diminish Mr. Little Krohn, the article refrained from outrights attacks and ridicule of Jon.

In any event, even if the NYT had ripped Jon, as it surely will...
