WaPo Cowards Regret Their Lapse

The cartoon below accompanied an article in the Washington Post about women being sexually aroused by watching apes have sex:

But then WaPo realized that the cartoon is racist, and posted this apology to Al Sharpton et al.:

The magazine was printed before a widely publicized incident last week in which a chimpanzee attacked and badly mauled a woman in Stamford, Conn. In addition, the image and text inadvertently may conjure racial stereotypes that The Post does not countenance. We regret the lapse.

Unless they are confessing that they can't tell the difference between monkeys and blacks, WaPo's craven editors are attempting to forestall the sort of run-in with the race grievance industry the New York Post just experienced.

Our new era of "postracial politics" sure is a great time to be a race hustler. Sharpton has the establishment media snuffling his malodorous tail feathers without even having to ask.

The only way to end this comparison of monkeys and blacks is to kill all the monkey species so with time and proper education, the memory of monkeys will cease to exist.

Women getting aroused at watching monkeys have sex????!!!!! Those moonbat women are sure F'd up.

I agree! There is only one solution. We should kill every ape and monkey in the world--completely wipe out the enter existence of these creatures in every jungle and zoo. Then we should purge their pictures from every book and make drawing from memory any image of such a creature a crime. Only then will it be possible to avoid such awful racial horrors so that supersensitive libs and Blacks wonder if we are making some kind of politically incorrect statement.

An alternate option is to tell them, "Stick it."

This also means viewing Planet of the Apes movies and TV series is now BANNED. Lest anyone see simians and think of President Hussein. Death penalty will be issued for viewing of Conquest of the Planet of the Apes as it was an illusion to the 1965 Watts Riots where blacks rioted and looted and burned buildings.

Gonna have to pick up a copy of that movie (Conquest) and check the implications. Maybe I'll put it on the shelf next to Blazing Saddles. As to what I think when I see 'That One', I'll just keep to myself (mostly).

Conquest of the Planet of the Apes - Alot of people hated that one, but I thought it was pretty good - not as good as the first one though - nothing beats the Statue of Liberty scene.

Anything featuring our simian brethren will now be racist. Tarzan and Cheetah. Michael Jackson and Bubbles. Maybe even that famous clip of Johnny Carson holding the baby Orangutan.

What is ironic is that these PC black "leaders" are basically saying "hey, everyone knows we look like monkeys, so you better stop showing them and emphasizing the point."

To paraphrase an old saying "Better to remain silent and be thought a monkey, than to speak up and remove all doubt."

Note to black people: most whites do not think of you as monkeys, but thanks to guys like Sharpton that may change. (Everyone I know who saw that cartoon understood it was associating that crazed pet chimp and CONGRESS...the guys that actually wrote the bill...not Barack Obama.)

Is it just me, or is that a damn unfunny cartoon given the humour potential of the subject matter? And how women being aroused over monkey sex equals racism is beyond me..although the WaPo's Pavlovian association of the two might reveal something..Or are they just scared they couldn't afford a lawsuit without filing for chapter 11?

With all this race-baiting bull$hit all I can conclude is Al and the gang think Blacks=Apes and to critize or make fun of apes in any way is racist. Man if I was black I would be looking to kick ole' Al's a$$!!

Sharpton [a chimp off the old block] protests a cartoon in the NY Post to pretend he's still relevant [and provide an opportunity for extortion], while the slaughter of young black men by other young black men continues apace.

Just reading the conversation he had with that feminazi makes me want to vomit. Women being aroused by apes makes them deeper and more opague than men? What planet am I living on?

Al Sharpton a scandal mongering snake in the grass someone should mow the lawn with a mulching mower
