Obama Disses Winston Churchill

As if any further affirmation of the greatness of Winston Churchill were required, the cockroaches who have taken over the American government have effectively denounced his memory:

A bust of the former prime minister once voted the greatest Briton in history, which was loaned to George W Bush from the Government's art collection after the September 11 attacks, has now been formally handed back.
The bronze by Sir Jacob Epstein, worth hundreds of thousands of pounds if it were ever sold on the open market, enjoyed pride of place in the Oval Office during President Bush's tenure.
But when British officials offered to let Mr Obama to hang onto the bust for a further four years, the White House said: "Thanks, but no thanks."

To Americans, Churchill is the hero whose courageous leadership saved our sister Britain from Nazi conquest. To Obama, he is a pale-faced colonial oppressor.

Nothing could be more symbolic of the Obama Administration and what it means for our civilization.

Greatness is gone now.

On a tip from The MaryHunter.

Well, Obama has to make room for the Joseph Stalin & Vlad Lenin busts.

Methinks he needed to make room for a bust of Ward Churchill.

Graycat: A doff of my cap to you sir.

I doubt that O views Winston Churchill as "pale-faced colonial oppressor", but I can't fathom why his visage would not be wanted in the White House.

While American steel and muscle certainly played a large role in winning WWII, Churchill and Britain's stubbornness in not folding under the Nazi onslaught prevented it from being lost.

I remember seeing an interview with veteran newsman David Brinkley about 15 years ago. He talked about a post-war poker game with Truman, Churchill, and a mix of White House staff and reporters. When Churchill got up to use the washroom, Truman said in a low voice "There goes the man who saved the world". Brinkley said that for the rest of night, his fellow players were folding full houses, straights, and flushes in deference to Churchill....

Great story.

I am surprised he did not sell it on ebay and hand the proceeds to ACORN

How ironic is it that the National Socialist Obama sends back the statue of the man that warned the world the coming power of National Socialists in Germany. Is there a sign or message being to sent us?

This just shows how arrogant he is at showing his Socialistic side.

Commie P.O.S.

I can't blame Obama for sending it back. Seeing Churchill every day had to be a painful and awkward reminder to Obama of what a mediocrity he is compared to Sir Winston (or just about any other leader.

I'll bet he replaced it with one of Jimmy Carter.

Obama you sack of...

That man has no honor, shame or conscience.

Obama busts are being cast by the thousands as we speak.

Mr.'Fundamental Transformation' must have watched and believed the trashy PBS 'biopic' that ripped Mr. Churchill as an ignorant, yet somehow popular leader who bumbled his way through WWII. I sat through this trash piece expecting something good or positive to be said about one of my heroes, but it never came. Finally at the end they off-handedly mentioned that he has consistently been voted Britain's greatest leader (no doubt to the bewilderment of the producers and their like-minded viewers).

This is the elitist mindset that Obama and his bootlickers come from. The world is in dire need of Churchill's mature leadership, but what we've got is the exact opposite. The children are in charge and they're gonna get a lot of people killed.

Posted by: lvb-rocks at February 20, 2009 9:49 AM

Richard, actually, I think he's replacing it with someone who said that the Negro shouldn't hold public office.

Posted by: Scaramouche at February 20, 2009 9:49 AM

A true and powerful leader like Winston Churchill.....doesn't it seem a million miles away? O shows ignorance and arrogance toward history, I imagine he was high during 8th grade history class. He is a POS.

I remember a conversation I had 5 or 6 years ago, and we were discussing how you can always tell a 3rd world country dictatorship's level of socialism by the number of posters of their leader they had plastered in public places. The bigger the posters, busts, etc, and the more of them, the deeper they were...
God help the USA.

Posted by: Pauly at February 20, 2009 10:38 AM

We certainly do need that help, Pauly. And you're right on as far as the appearance of the Obamanation virtually everywhere (not to mention on commemorative plates, coins, etc. -- what a joke!). Lots of drones out there, but their numbers will be diminishing as even they sink deeper and deeper into poverty.

With (formerly) Great Britain going down the tubes at an ever-accelerating pace, and no Churchills in sight, anywhere, the U.S. is indeed the very last hope for freedom in this world. But we've got to turn this around and rid ourselves of all these lib gerbils (brains the size of pin-heads) as soon as possible.

Absolutely disgraceful.
Could be he'll next ask France to take back the Statue of Liberty.

This is the action of an verminous man placed in power by merit of skin color to govern what he neither understands nor will ever equal.

Posted by: Fiberal at February 20, 2009 1:02 PM

This should come as no surprise to any of us.

"We contend that for a nation to try to tax itself into
prosperity is like a man standing in a bucket and trying
to lift himself up by the handle." Winston Churchill

Perhaps his bust was accused of not being a team player?

Posted by: Mike B. at February 20, 2009 5:05 PM

He's just replacing it with a bust of CHE !!!!!

Posted by: D mockracy at February 20, 2009 5:15 PM

I always preferred the pic of Sir Winston with a little smirk on his face and a 1928 Thompson machine gun in his hands...

Posted by: PabloD at February 20, 2009 7:30 PM

He probably wants to replace it with Ward Churchill.

Posted by: James McEnanly at February 20, 2009 10:35 PM

Why would Chairman Zero want anyone or anything better than HIM (in his own mind) occupying "his" house. Maybe that's why he hasn't gotten a dog yet, because he'll be like "I hate puppies, everyone just goes 'look how cute and adorable he is' when they should be saying that about ME!"

Again, what a POS

From the UK Telegram article:

"Churchill has less happy connotations for Mr. Obama than those American politicians who celebrate his wartime leadership. It was during Churchill's second premiership that Britain suppressed Kenya's Mau Mau rebellion. Among Kenyan's allegedly tortured by the colonial regime include one Hussein Onyango Obama, the President's grandfather".

Pretty likely that this is O's motivation, and it reveals his true loyalties as well. Add one more to the list of the many disorders of this anti-American, juvenile, Marxist demon.

Posted by: lvb-rocks at February 21, 2009 11:37 PM

Adding you to my reading list, Atomic Lib Smasher!

"Among Kenyan's allegedly tortured by the colonial regime include one Hussein Onyango Obama, the President's grandfather"."

Um, who gives a fuck? My great-grandparents and their parents before them were landowners in Scotland and, well, you've all seen Braveheart.. And yet, somehow, I bear no animosity to the English flag. How strange.

The media's failure to question Obama over this -- don't think they don't know about it -- is all the evidence needed to prove their complicity in every last misdemeanour he commits in the course of his administration.

Posted by: Mandible Claw at February 22, 2009 8:03 AM

Obama's father was a terrorist in Kenya and Churchhill did not like him.

Posted by: Tom T Laguna Niguel, CA at February 22, 2009 3:38 PM

I don't know if him giving something that was loaned to Bush back to the UK is a sign of anything ominous. The Brits surmise it is because Churchill put down the Mau Mau rebellion in Kenya which affected Obama's family there. I noted that the telegraph states that he gave it back and replaced it with a bust of Lincoln. Nothing wrong with that I would say. The bigger question of "outrage" for giving back a likeness of Churchill who saved Britain from Nazi tytanny is, "Why the hell didn't the Brits reelect Churchill in 1945"?
