Media Establishment Still Trashing Sarah Palin

The tragic 2008 election is over, but the triumphant liberal media still appears to regard Sarah Palin as a threat. Listen to MSNBC's Nora O'Donnell sputter in outrage that Saracuda has the audacity to attend a dinner with other prominent politicians:

So long as moonbats fear conservatives enough to hate them the way they hate Sarah Palin, we know there's still hope for this country.

Via NewsBusters, on a tip from SK.

She lives in public housing?

I guess the White House is "public housing" by his standard then too. But don't say the Obamas live in public housing; that would be raaaacist.

These people are idiots. No wonder nobody watches that crap and their parent company is going down the tubes.

Posted by: forest at January 30, 2009 10:23 AM

No class. No class at all.

I think I can understand why she would go out of her way to have dinner him, and it speaks very well of her. If we believe the Left (at one point, anyway, because they are terribly inconsistent), she would never do that, but he *is* the president now. And also she is the governor of her state (still, right?). We all have a stake in the success of the president--the success of our country, but like Rush Limbaugh I hope that when his liberal policies fail they fail miserably. Sarah Palin is simply twice the American these idiot talking heads are (to give them some credit).

Posted by: Thorne at January 30, 2009 10:42 AM

Hey MSNBC, how are those ratings going?

Oh. Sorry to hear that.

Posted by: Jay Guevara at January 30, 2009 10:49 AM

What absolute crap - the black guy in particular is racist, illinformed, hateful, and stupid.

A Govenor is having dinner with the president. STFW! If it was Shwartzenliberal, or Bloombrain it wouldn't even be news.

Posted by: Jimbo at January 30, 2009 10:49 AM

The volcanic reaction of lefties toward Palin speaks volumes. They're obviously terrified of her. Paradoxically their reaction to her makes me wonder if there might not be more to her than I appreciated.

Posted by: Jay Guevara at January 30, 2009 10:53 AM

This display of O'donnell's points up something good about Gov. Palin, again.

Posted by: Mockingbird at January 30, 2009 11:01 AM

I don't understand it. The governor of Alaska says she relishes the opportunity to be at a dinner with the President, which is to say that she may be on speaking terms to advocate benefits (maybe even pork) for her state. That's pretty normal and I would expect a governor to do that.

Yes there are 2000+ people but only 50 governors. The brother at the end of this clip calls her "clueless" for doing or thinking this. What does he mean? We cannot be in the presence of the Glorious Most Honorable One and ask for things?

I have had enough of MSNBC and their minions. Karma has a way of fixing things and the Obama worship will be of the worst.

She never once called him a terrorist on the campaign trail. She said he had connections to one, which was true.

Don't they ever get tired of lying day in and day out? These people are shameless...

Posted by: cbischof at January 30, 2009 12:50 PM

Talking Head 1: Sarah Palin says she's going to have dinner with the President!

Talking Head 2: She's not worthy!

Talking Head 3: She's clueless, how dare she think she can talk to the Exalted One?

Talking Head 4: WE'RE NOT WORTHY !

Posted by: Pete at January 30, 2009 12:53 PM

Hey Nora!!

Speaking of the campaign trail, didn't Joe Biden call Obamer unqualified to be president?? You stupid bitch!

Posted by: CharileDontSurf at January 30, 2009 1:32 PM

These News people are so pathetic. Don't they have REAL news to report? It's so freakin HIGH SCHOOLISH that they have to talk about Sarah Palin and make fun of her on National Television. What bunch of immature bafoons! That's why they can't beat Fox News ratings!! HAHA!!

Liberals always try to say they are for UNITY>HOPE>CHANGE>PEACE Pshhhhhh whatever!! More like HATE>SPITE>JEALOUSY>ANGER What a bunch of jack asses!

Posted by: Mary at January 30, 2009 2:42 PM

Yes, that "she called him a terrorist" comment is fascinating. This from the media? She said he pals around with them: which is 100% true.

How are they allowed to speak like the obvious trash they are and still collect a paycheck?

Posted by: Anonymous at January 30, 2009 2:59 PM

Was the MSNBC peacock on the maincourse for SARA PALIN and her freinds i sure hope it was i mean ROAST THE NBC PEACOCK WELL DONE

Posted by: Spurwing Plover at January 30, 2009 3:10 PM

"CharileDontSurf at January 30, 2009 1:32 PM"

OBAMA even said that he was unqualified for the presidency! But that was before the Donkey power brokers convinced him to run.

Untill there is evidence to the contrary, I will continue to believe that BO was nominated not only for his skin color, but because the Donkeys thought he would be easy to MANIPULATE.

Posted by: KHarn at January 30, 2009 5:37 PM

Morris talks about public housing and the dole.

Morris would be in public housing if he wasn't on the affirmative action dole.
He's "ruhdicoolus"

Posted by: Fiberal at January 30, 2009 6:12 PM

No one makes their heads spin faster than Palin or Limbaugh.

Interesting that neither is a true power broker, particularly over the media elites: Limbaugh simply has a platform where he calls politicians to task and Palin has political power over a relatively small population far away from any liberal stronghold.

Posted by: mandy at January 30, 2009 6:29 PM

Three facts:

1) no one watches MSNBC
2) lefties are scared to death of Sara Palin
3) Nora O'Donnel is a hottie.

Posted by: Jack Bauer at January 30, 2009 8:06 PM

I think the problem here may be the natural human tendency to percieve people who are roughly at your own level of intellect as normal, intellegent and well functioning and those "above" your own mental capabilities are as elitist, hostile, even smarmy... it's a psychological defense ....I mean, who really wants to admit that they just are just average in the end? We all want to believe we are "special".

So taking this into consideration, need I say more?

Why Feminists Hate Sarah Palin

Posted by: SK at January 30, 2009 8:44 PM

They are just jealous because the press can not attend this dinner, By this club's own rules.

We already know that Begala, Stephanopolous, Emanuel, and Carville have secret morning meetings to plan the "spin of the day" then disseminate it to the the liberal media to spoon feed the masses with.

These classless twits will probably say tomorrow that Lt. Gov. Steele's nomination is either some sort of "token" or "trick" to confuse african-americans.

The delusions never end with them, It's sad.

Posted by: CrackrJak at January 30, 2009 9:05 PM

For the Libs, it's always "ignore those who cannot do you any real political harm," and "destroy those who can do so." Hence their frothing-at-the-mouth insanity on MSLSD and its fellows whenever Rush (a genuine threat) or Gov. Palin (a terrifyingly genuine threat, especially politically) dare to speak out or deign to mention that there might just be another side to the Dhimmis' version of the "truth."

To paraphrase the Great One (whom they should be absolutely petrified of): the drones cannot be free to think on their own, lest they encounter ideas and concepts inimical to Liberalism, possibly even leaving the European Socialist Party, failing to tune in for their daily indoctrination on the Idiot Media channels, teaching their children themselves instead of allowing mind-numbed robots to poison their minds (see the story on pledging allegiance to Obambi, coming soon to your local elementary school; "America? What the hell is that?"), and (horrors!) actually voting for someone other than that for whom you are instructed to vote on pain of death. Can't have independent, thinking, reasoning human beings in this country, now, can we?

Nora O'donnell's moonbattery has always thrown me for a loop. Angry liberal women outside of hollywood are generally dogfaced and easy to spot, frothing at the mouth and just generally hideous in every way. In the future i'd like for you liberal women to identify yourselves with a scarlet "L" on your foreheads, so that I can be sure to avoid any verbal contact with you.

FANTASTIC - this just means Palin is so worth voting for in 2012 (or sooner - however long it takes to throw that worthless jackass out of the Whitehouse). The more the left hates them indicates the better they are for America.

Fez @ 8:16pm...

So, what you seem to be saying is that these hacks attacking Palin are doing so because they sense her superior intellect?

Good of you to admit the obvious... didn't think you had it in ya.

Oh, and the day I see an actual birth certificate (not just a "Certification of Live Birth", which came in boxes of CrackerJack in Hawaii in 1961) for Pharoah Obameses I is the day I'll call him President. Any ideas why "the One" hired an army of lawyers to make sure we never see it? Really, I'd love to hear your explanation of that one.

Posted by: hiram at January 31, 2009 10:57 AM

Thanks, SK! Gotta admit, Nora is a "looker" -- too bad she's moonbatty as hell . . .

Give her a few years and she may realize the error of her ways. We'll see . . .

Posted by: jc14 at January 31, 2009 3:59 PM

Sarah Palin was an awful pick for VP. I think McCain was just trying to get Hillary's voters.

He should have picked Mike Huckabee. He's conservative, moral, and a governor. Hell, Huckabee should have been the nominee for President.

Posted by: Jason at January 31, 2009 8:58 PM

There was NOTHING wrong with picking Palin. If Huckabee was picked the media would have made him look as bad as they left Palin looking. Don't believe the media taints how the masses view a candidate? Take a look back in the archives here and find that article about the famous Charlie Gibson interview with Palin. You only ever saw a slim snippet of what she had to say. They controlled every facet of this election year. They lied, cheated, and scammed their barely legitimate candidate into office and that goes a long way toward explaining why they are still so dogmatic about keeping the facade up. This is why you'll never see them lampoon him on late night TV, why they'll go out of their way to spin every fumble he makes into some "touching display of his humble nature," and why they'll still crucify Palin every damn chance they get. They know what they're doing. They know so well that they even managed to pull the wool over the eyes of conservatives who should know better.

Posted by: Anonymous at January 31, 2009 9:34 PM

Watch and read the MSM one time to collect all the companies that advertise in/on them. Now, write to these advertisers saying you will NOT buy their products until that program/newspaper stops the continuous op/ed pieces and starts delivering unbiased news.

And they wonder why they're losing viewers or readers. Hmmm.

Posted by: JMA at February 1, 2009 6:30 AM

I'm sure the 15 moonbats watch PMSNBC got a laugh watching these idiots laugh at an edited clip of Palin. But since the left hates her SO much (I think she's exceeded Nixon and Reagan so far, but not Bush.. yet), she might just be good for the country, especially after the mess Obamalamadingdong makes of the country the next 4 years.

Posted by: Atomic Lib Smasher at February 1, 2009 9:19 AM

More people have probably seen this clip on moonbattery than saw it on MSNBC.
That's how pathetic their ratings are and they deserve these ratings. This is awful. It doesn't eve qualify as reporting. It sounded more like three Junior High School outcasts mocking one of the popular kids.

If she would have not gone to this dinner, that would have been a news story.

Let the liberals continue to mock her. They thought Bush W was an idiot and Bush was able to run circles around them and get elected twice and get about every thing he wanted from Congress. All the while they smugly spoke condescendingly of him, while he absolutely kicked their asses time and time again.
I want to see Palin kick their asses too.
