He shaved "BIDEN" into his head? That old white guy who's been in white guy politics for decades? Speaking of Biden, they gave him a job, something like a czar for middle-classdom. Something vague and lame. Hopefully he won't do much harm. I just wish they'd take the duct tape off his mouth so we can get some good comedic material.

Just curious why in europe, the Neo Nazis are considered to be right wing? Can somebody answer this? I'm pretty sure they don't like gays, the government and people who just aren't like them (as in wrong color, wrong religion, not "manly" enough etc.) but I'm curious if the right wing in america would be home for these types of people too. What do you think, Moonbatteryville?

"On Saturday, Dec. 13, the 52-year-old police chief in the Bavarian German city of Passau, Alois Mannichl, was stabbed when he answered his door at home. The attack was alleged to be a reprisal from the neo-Nazi scene; Mannichl had taken a firm stand against far-right supporters in recent years.

Police arrested and then released two suspects. Some are now calling for a ban on Germany's far-right political party, the NPD. Deutsche Welle spoke to Konrad Freiberg, the head of the Union of German Police Officers (GdP) about what the stabbing represents.

TSA: TRANSPORTION STUPIDITY ADMINISTRATION

If it were simply guilty of stupidity, the TSA, the Transportation Security Administration, could almost be forgiven.

Almost.

It’s true that we haven’t suffered a terrorist attack in over seven years but whether that is due to the vigilance of the TSA, due to the investigative skills of the FBI and CIA, due to local police forces, or due to dumb luck is very debatable.

Established in the aftermath of 9/11 because, apparently, America had no need for security prior to that date, the TSA has proven itself to be an inept, lard-ridden, bureaucratic mess staffed with undertrained, underpaid, and undermotivated agents who are seriously in need of remedial classes in common sense and courtesy.

Anyone who has travelled in the last seven years and wended his or her way through the warren of security checks at airports has no doubt encountered a few TSA people up close and personal. I know I have and I’ve seen a few reading newspapers, one doing her nails, and some actually working.

Meanwhile, we have dutifully removed belts, shoes, the contents of our pockets, surrendered our bottles of Perrier, and subjected ourselves to X-rays and in some cases friskings and even body searches. John Gotti endured less official harassment.

The TSA, which is charged with keeping America and Americans and foreign travellers in our land secure, is performing that task in one godawful way. For two analyses of TSA failures, please see http://www.portfolio.com/business-travel/seat-2B/2007/09/11/TSA-Security-Problems and http://www.lewrockwell.com/paul/paul220.html.

In defining itself and its mission, the TSA website states, ...

Berkeley educated Miss Pakistan 'condones' Mumbai terror attacks

The reining beauty queen, who is a graduate from Berkley, used the word ‘condone’ not once but twice in an interview to CNN earlier this week.

"The image of Pakistan has been threatened with these recent attacks and I feel that now as Pakistanis we have to stand up and condone what has happened in the country of India and through these Mumbai attacks," Natasha told CNN’s Anna Coren.

Natasha’s use of word ‘condone’ cannot be deemed as a slip of tongue because she used it again, and very clearly at that, while answering the very next question.

"As an ambassador to my country Pakistan I feel that we as Pakistanis need to work together and Indians as well need to work and work on this friendship that we have and condone these attacks, thoroughly.”

One blogger Kamil Yousuf, who has posted an entry titled "Dear Miss Pakistan World, the word is 'condemn', not 'condone'", goes on to express his utter shock at Natasha’s remarks.

"I was actually quite surprised on both counts, if you were going to appear on CNN wearing a Miss Pakistan sash, in order to give a statement on behalf of your country in the midst of a political crisis, you would take the time to learn the difference between two fairly critical antonyms. You went to Berkeley, for God's sake," he wrote.

May be it was a Freudian slip on Natasha’s part.

Pakistan is the center of all Islamic terrorism at this point in time. All roads of Islamic terrorism cross through Pakistan. This is not my opinion but that of terrorism experts.

Or POCKISTON as our dear leader Obama pronounces it.

I hope India kicks their ass in the eventual war.

Just curious why in europe, the Neo Nazis are considered to be right wing? Can somebody answer this?

The European media and political sphere characterize nazis as "far right," who knew. Hey, maybe they are far right. But neo-nazis are as far left as they are far right - and then some. And there's far, far more of the right's political beliefs that are in opposition to neo-nazis' than there are of the left's.

That being said, you're talking about a bloc which has embraced various levels of socialism and communism for the last couple centuries; and taking their word for it when they label someone as reactionary fascists?

Neo-nazis tend to be anti-statist - except where the state is offering preferential treatment to white people. The right are the greater supporters of individual rights and civil liberties; neo-nazis align with the right on issues like hate speech laws and gun control. They oppose these things for different reasons than do conservatives. Neo-nazis are largely paranoid about government conspiracies, and have a highly developed victim complex. Stormfront endorsed Ron Paul, as you may or may not know. Neo-nazis are aligned with the right to the extent that the right support certain things that neo-nazis want. On the other hand the original nazis were anti-capitalist and believed in the "rights of the worker" as being more important than maintaining a free market - so do many neo-nazis. On practical issues like this neo-nazis and the nazis themselves were/are leftists. You may be also interested to note that neo-nazis and white supremacists are not in fact solely pre-occupied with the supremacy of the white race. Rather they support the right of all races to self-determination, but believe that this should be achieved separately and without the races inter-mingling - in theory at least. (In practice of course what occurs is largely a lot of cross-burning and beating n*****s or other ethnic groups.) As such - and this is a fact - white supremacist organizations generally support the Palestinian "cause," and condemn Israel for what they see as unwarranted interference into the affairs of another ethnic group. In terms of politics in general, this is a position that is exclusively held by the left and nominal "right"-wing types who support people like Ron Paul.

I'm pretty sure they don't like gays,

Um and? Plenty of gay republicans around, mate. President-elect Obama is on the record as saying homosexuality is a sin; votes for Prop. 8 in California align precisely with Democrat votes. Tell it to the Marines.

the government

Do you like the government? Really?

...and people who just aren't like them (as in wrong color, wrong religion, not "manly" enough etc.)

Oh. Right. Was forgetting the secular left's love and tolerance for Christians, Mormons and Jews (especially Zionist ones) as well as its tireless work in service of the Cuban and Asian communities in America. Just another note, paganism is one of the two accepted religions within white supremacist groups alongside protestant Christianity; the nazis themselves (especially Hitler) were stronly pagan and in practical terms completely anti-Christian.

but I'm curious if the right wing in america would be home for these types of people too. What do you think, Moonbatteryville?

You might want to do a little bit of research. The Democratic party was home to the Ku Klux Klan and it was federalist republican free-market advocates who ended it. If you'd really like to know, prominent white supremacists including Stormfront (as I mentioned earlier) came out in support of Ron Paul, who is as much a Republican as Lieberman is a Democrat.

Um.. Because we are the choir? Again, for the umpteenth time, I point you to the fact that Obama achieved the same vote total as John Kerry. (If you think this constitutes a spanking then, sincerest apologies, but you are retarded.)

That he won indicates only one thing: that GOP and swing voters didn't like McCain.

Polling numbers suggest that Palin had over 90% approval ratings among Republican voters. Even Bush, who betrayed many conservative principles, was more popular than McCain.

Thus GOP strategy going forward would be to nominate actual conservatives like Palin and Jindal. You know, the stratetgy that gave the GOP political domination for the last three decades. It's reeeeeeeaaaaally difficult to figure out.

Now that that important and pressing issue has been cleared up, can we get back to the stupid haircuts please?

Signed an disappointed ex-GOPer, Reagan supporter Episcopalian.

Yeah, sure. A Reagan supporter who crows about big-government liberal pansy Obama winning the election because the GOP are out of touch.

No sh!t. "Landslide McCain" is exactly what the elites think is the ideal Republican... "moderate" (i.e. liberal), works with (i.e. totally submits to) Democrats, okay with big government, open borders fanatic, global warming true believer, and rejects the religious right.

Ever heard of "Queers for Palestine"? There's an essay on it on Zombietime.com where he (she?) refers to them as "a study in cognitive dissonance." A gay activist group that specifically supports the Palestinian agenda of either destroying Israel or transforming it into yet another Muslim Arab country. Oh yeah, Israel is the one country in the middle east that will take in gays and give them refugee status, as they face brutal murder in the other countries. In the Palestinian territories gays testify to being raped, forced to stand in sewage pits, being crushed under housing rubble, etc.

McCain is a Democrat. The media would have loved him - hell the media did love him - and would have Decided (tm) him into office, had he not been running against a socialist. He was, however, and thus the Deciders Decided.

The GOP as it exists needs to be flushed. Starting with McCain, secondly the Bushes (although W. gets an honourable discharge, at least in my book), Romney, and all the other country club faux-conservatives. In with Palin, Jindal, Pawlenty, &c.
