Global Warming Hits England

Wonderful news: Comrade Obama will has promised the USA will play a leading role in the struggle to "save the planet" from global warming, even if it means committing economic suicide. In other global warming news:

Icy winds and heavy snow storms swept across Britain today, causing chaos for drivers and closing hundreds of schools.
Thousands of children got a day off school as sub-zero temperatures and heavy snow forced around 200 schools in the North-West to close. … The first snow of this winter fell in England in October.

Meanwhile, society presses forward with plans to plunge itself into a long-term depression as a token gesture to avert a crisis that does not exist. Future generations will be left to figure out what made so many of us go so tragically insane.

On a tip from Lyle.

No, remember: when it gets cold it's not global warming anymore but "climate change". The perfect catch-all term. Blizzard? Climate change. Hurricanes? Climate change. Heatwave? Climate change. Before humans of course, the weather was exactly the same all year long. Then we had to come and selfishly exploit Gaia for our own evil purposes. Doesn't it just make you want to stop breathing?

Still, it's a good job we have this imaginary crisis to take our minds off the Religion of Peace. Unlike terrorism, climate change is happening today and the only way to stop it is if everyone acts NOW. Oh wait...

Was Al Gore visiting the UK?

The colder it gets, the warmer it gets (and vice-versa).

Liberalism/Enviro-Marxism: Schizophrenia exemplified.

Like I've stated before there's another name for "climate change". It's called seasons. ;)

When I see these hyper-exuberant climate change scares, for some reason it conjures up a mental image of Elmer Fudd in the old Warner Brother's 'Ride of the Valkyrie' cartoon. I envision Al Gore with his spear and magic helmet at the top of some stage prop pyramid summoning the elements to defeat the deniers.

"East wind blow, West wind blow, typhoon, hurricane, earthquake,....SMOG!"

I wish global warming was real.

Civilization thrives under warmer conditions. Cold is deadly in many ways.

ET's with a nasty sense of humor!

All across the globe the people are acting truly insane. I begin to suspect that space aliens with a really evil sense of humor are broadcasting a stupid ray at the Earth. I mean... how else do you explain it?

As I always say about stories like this: Thank God for global warming! Just think how miserably cold it would be without it!

I was interested to find this blog. 20 years ago I had a book published on different economic concepts to point the way to a sustainable world economy. Someone who liked the book recently contacted me to suggest that I update and re-publish it as a blog. She set up the blog, and the book is now complete on the blog in a series of postings. There are now also additional pieces on global warming and other subjects. Here is the link:

With all good wishes,
