Mark Foley Endorses BHO

Another alleged Republican has come out for Obama. Remember Mark Foley, the disgraced Florida representative who helped the Dems take over Congress by getting caught sending homosexual emails to a teenage page, handing the media an issue it used to tar the whole party? Variety reports that he's aboard the Obama bandwagon.

Nice crowd you've joined, Colin Powell.

Foley finds his proper home.

On a tip from V the K.

Well, he presumably did it to the teen-age boy.

Then he did it to the GOP.

Now let's hope he does it to BHO.

Memo from McCain to Obama - "You can have him."

When somebody takes-out the trash for you (or when the trash takes-out itself), the correct response is, "Thank you!"

Well Colin Powell is in like company. Both are unprincipled opportunists. You'd expect this: Foley is morally corrupt and fatuous beyond repair, and Powell has the conservative ethics of a 13-year old.

By Powell's own admission, his career flourished through affirmative action programs so that an alliance with BO makes a certain amount of sense for him.
I've always thought he was shallow and over-rated. But what makes this particularly galling is the fact that few in the moderate media (including O'Reilly, the WSJ or even the more conservative Neil Boortz) seem to be able to bring themselves to say that this is a case of pure, raw racism.

I mean how stupid are we supposed to be to not recognize that through all his hand-waving that Powell made his decision about BO based solely on race?

Foley, you could predict he'd be blowing bubbles in BO's bathwater, but its a shame that the endorsement by Powell was equally predictable.

Regardless of how he may have had his ego slighted in a Bush administration, Powell was a top general and an ambassador for a republican Commander-in-Chief. That he could abandon any pretense of principle and loyalty due to what is fundamentally a racist intent, is I guess, just what you get with someone who was levitated to the top on affirmative action programs.

What a stand-up guy.

I pretty much lost all respect for Powell. For him to say things like McCain is taking the Republican party too far to the right while ignoring the fact Obama is most leftist candidate for President in history is ridiculous. As for Foley, he is an assclown and should be banned from the Republican Party for life - he is a textbook example of a RINO.
