Obamunists Attack Radio Station for Shining Light on Bill Ayers

Another little foretaste of what an Obama victory would mean for freedom of speech:

Sen. Barack Obama's campaign organized its supporters Wednesday night to confront Tribune-owned WGN-AM in Chicago for having a critic of the Illinois Democrat on its air.
"WGN radio is giving right-wing hatchet man Stanley Kurtz a forum to air his baseless, fear-mongering terrorist smears," Obama's campaign wrote in an e-mail to supporters. "He's currently scheduled to spend a solid two-hour block from 9:00 to 11:00 p.m. pushing lies, distortions, and manipulations about Barack and University of Illinois professor William Ayers."
Kurtz, a conservative writer, recently wrote an article for the National Review that looked at Obama's ties to Ayers, a former 1960s radical who later emerged as a school reform advocate in Chicago. […]
Obama's campaign has launched similar offensives against stations that have run campaign ads that it did not like.

as we've seen.

Now is your chance to read up on Obama's long-time friend and associate Bill Ayers, the unrepentant anti-American terrorist at whose house his political career was launched. Information on the alarming backgrounds of Obama's friends and associates might not always be available.

Bill Ayers
Bill Ayers, the hippie terrorist who went on to launch Obama's career.

On a tip from mega.

If they're friends and Ayers is such a stand-up guy, why wasn't he at the convention?

Obama is a dangerous man, and the more his campaign goes for these "we'll shut you down if you DARE say anything" tactics, the more obvious that becomes.

We're really in for it. If he wins, this place will look like Cuba in four years. If he loses, the left will NEVER let go of how the Anointed One was cheated out of his rightful place in the seat of power...and I can see violence ensuing.

Here's the real question: Why did this lifelong America-hating marxist radical decide to get behind Barack Obama? What did Ayers see in Obama that he liked?

Maybe Ayers is getting to the point of his life where he wanted a protege. Someone to carry forth his legacy, such as it is.

Maybe he thought that if "we could get this energetic kid together with George Soros, maybe we can go somewhere".

Kudos to the Chicago police department for not kicking Ayers's ass when the snotty rich kid gave them that snotty rich kid look in this photo.

It must have taken superhuman forbearance not to take him aside and "explain" the situation to him for several minutes.

V the K brings up a point that needs to be emphasized. When confronted with the long list of terrorist, marxist, and anti-America groups that have endorsed Obama, the left proclaims that it does not matter because Obama can't control who endorses him. That's true. However...

It does matter. If it was one or two, you could maybe explain it away as above. Given the high volume of radical groups and terrorist states that are pulling for (and sometimes raising funds for) Obama, there is obviously something about "Light-bringer" Obama that these America-hating types all rally around. They must see in him a figure sympathetic to their own causes, one that will tear the Great Satan apart from the inside and rebuild it in an image more fitting to their tender sensibilities. This should give even the most ardent lefty pause. It won't, but it should.

Jay, I agree. Ayers has the imprint of Wedgie King of his former high school, if ever I've seen one. He's obviously spent the last 40 years trying to get back at everyone. You're still a dork, Ayers!

Great point, Coder. It's too bad the left can't EVER admit they are wrong. I mean, look what happened to Harriet Miers...the right wasn't going to sit still for that just because a Republican put her name forward.

The darker side to this is maybe the left doesn't admit they're wrong because they AGREE with this stuff. I know SO many left wingers that are at heart, self-hating, America-hating, success-hating psychos that it's scary.

You'll see 75,000 of 'em in one place tonight. Lord, if you could just arrange for the power to fail tonight...

"Obama's campaign has launched similar offensives against stations that have run campaign ads that it did not like."

These folks aren't even smart enough to wait until they've won the election to show what they're made of. But I guess if I was worshipped they way Black racists and far Leftists are, I'd probably think I ruled the world too.

Way to go, Senator...just shut up all opposing views. That experience as a Left-wing agita...uh, I mean Community Organizer sure is paying off now, eh?

It worked at Columbia University, it worked at numerous other mostly so-called academic forums, and now, it will be expanded and refined. If I'm wrong, I'll sing, "There is Nothing Like a Dame" from "South Pacific" at a NOW convention.

Spot-on comment, Jay G. Talk about your arrogant smirk!
