Infanticide We Can Believe In

Whatever mendacious spin Obama may now find it convenient to employ, there is no question that he has steadfastly opposed allowing children to live after they've survived botched abortions. Here he is declaring that the only point of refusing to murder such children is "simply to burden the original decision" to perform the liberal sacrament of abortion:

Here's a PDF of the transcript (see page 33).

What kind of fiend would vote for this guy?

Good Question Van. I think of the story of the nurse who found the infant in question, in the soiled linen closet and held the tiny thing in her arms till it died 2 hours later. Then when I see an Obama 08 sticker on someone's car... I reach for my barf bag.

The nutroots are making all sorts of claims about this, that the legislation would have undermined RvW, that there were already laws on the books. This ignores the fact that Senator Obama, a professor of law, could have easily remedied those defects in his committee.

The fact of the matter is, laws like these terrify the pro-abortion crowd because they remind people that it's not a cancerous lump of tissue that gets removed in an abortion... it's a human baby.

I have linked to your post from Obama History on Abortion and Infanticide which looks at his history and the assertions made by National Right to Life Committee.

A child, breathing on its own, not dependent on its mother, an American citizen, is allowed to die and the only question is of a statutory nature ? It was denied its civil rights. It was murdered and the state has deprived this citizen of due process before executing it.

Anybody that can justify this is morally is a moral retard.

The simple fact is that Obama took money from NARL and voted the way they wanted him to vote, and now he's caught and trying to lie his way out of it.
