British Grandmother Arrested for Asking Hooligans to Go Home

When will law-abiding citizens learn that in Once-Great Britain, they need to keep their heads down?

After being woken for the third time in one night by a group of drunken and noisy students, Jo Calvert-Mindell was at her wits' end.
The former policewoman got dressed, went outside and shouted at them: "Why can't you go back to where you come from and make some noise there? I bet your families and neighbours wouldn't put up with it.
"You don't care about us and do just as you like. What gives you the right to frighten my elderly neighbours, cause damage and keep us awake at night?"
[…]The 51-year-old grandmother was astonished when four months later she was arrested and accused of being a racist. It turned out that two Asians in the group had complained to the police.

"Asian" in the context of British media reports is Euphemese for Muslim colonist. Asking them to stop running wild and trashing what's left of Britain is an intolerable affront to their human rights.

Calvert-Mindell was officially charged with racism. Last week the charges were finally dropped, because authorities didn't think they would get a conviction due to lack of evidence. At least evidence is still required in racism trials.

Allah, the moon god, forbid that this lady should walk her dog through their neighborhood and offend these "Asians". Cops would be all over that.

Poor youths are obviously victims of poverty and disillusion. Obama will fix that, he'll fix the world.

I thought muslims weren't allowed to drunk?

"When will law-abiding citizens learn that in Once-Great Britain, ..."

These aren't citizens, these are subjects of the Crown, dwelling on Her Majesty's personal property.

"I thought muslims weren't allowed to drunk?"

Some do anyway, ERIC. Then they blame it on the KAFFURS.

So they have no freedom of speech in Britain?

Where's the men? Surely there are real men left in the UK who don't want to put up with the crap.

OT – So, how is that citizens’ arrest tactic working out for ya?

Four peace activists were arrested on Friday as they attempted to make a "citizens arrest" of Karl Rove

Oh so sad, too bad.

Obviously, the woman is a screaming racist. Damned by her own words, in fact:

""Why can't you go back to where you come from and make some noise there? I bet your families and neighbours wouldn't put up with it."

"...back where you came from"? A most racist statement indeed. She could not possibly have meant "back to the homes that you currently occupy here in the United Kingdom as welcome guests to whom we wish to extend our complete friendship and multicultural understanding," or she would have said so. Nope. This statement was clearly directed solely at the poor, oppressed Asian Youths in the group, not to the group as a whole.

Of all the crap that's been going on in Britain, this mindcrime nonsense is probably the scariest.

Smoke TNT:
That is pretty funny, re the License plates.
If the first thing that comes to mind spotting the letters NGR together is a derogatory name for black people, one might suggest the plate isn't racist, the but person who jumps to that interpretation?

Posted by: xantl at July 25, 2008 9:15 PM

Word is, that was Jesse Jackson's license plate. He paid the $10 personalized plate fee to get it.

Is it illegal to be racist? Is racism actually illegal? Well, if so, Barack Obama would be in jail (along with his wife and his pastor)

Oh, then, there's also Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson. If racism was illegal, they would have been in jail years ago...probably serving life without parole.
