Obama Accuses USA of Rounding Up Families for Having Arab Ancestry

The wisdom of Barack Obamination, from a campaign ad that aired in Texas:

If there is an Arab-American family being rounded up without benefit of an attorney, it threatens my civil liberties.

Lance Fairchok comments on Obama's disgraceful insinuation that ethnic Arabs are being rounded up and thrown into concentration camps:

The bleak fantasy of Arab-American families interned for being Arabs and, of course, for being Muslim is very plausible to the radicals that help write his speeches. Senator Obama holds a wretched America in his heart, a country he has no pride in nor wishes to preserve. If his vision starts from failure, where will it end? There is no truth in his words, just as there is no substance. One may speak well, but still speak lies. An Obama presidency would be a disaster.

That this irresponsible left-wing fool is even considered a serious candidate suggests that a disaster is already underway.

A train wreck waiting to happen.

This Osama nut is making John "Lettuce Head" McCain look better all the time.

The reality is somewhat the opposite as a Harvard spokesman uses Orwellian double-speak to justify the implementation of shari'a... they aren't banning men, they're accommodating women.

Great, just what we need, a frowning Alfred E Neuman, only the head is too small.

Posted by: baslimthecripple at March 5, 2008 10:55 AM

what you all typically fail to see is the big "IF" that starts of Obama's alleged statement.

Given America's history of internment:ie Japanese-American families internment during the second world war, it's really not that an implausible scenario.

More hysteria over nothing.

Posted by: hashfanaticFAN at March 5, 2008 11:01 AM

Let's be precise, hash. It was Franklin Roosevelt who personally signed a Presidential Order interning the nisei - not America, nor the American government, as a whole. No vote, no nothing. FDR, singlehandedly.

Notice how lefties generally gloss over that fact. FDR also essentially directed Francis Biddle (AG) to find a way to fry the captured Nazi saboteurs, and then do it. They got a secret military tribunal, then rode the lightning bolt forthwith.

I'm not criticizing FDR's decisions. I think that in the context of the times, both were sound. But I do wish Dems and other lefties would admit that the sainted FDR played hardball when he thought it necessary to defend this country.

Posted by: Jay Guevara at March 5, 2008 11:17 AM

Well, Jay, FDR was a fascist bastard who threw a man in prison for charging less than the government-approved rate for laundry services. Similar to what Hillary and Obama want to do to oil company executives.

Posted by: V the K at March 5, 2008 11:28 AM

I love the word "IF", you can say anything hypothetically after it, without worrying about it being valid or probable.

For example, IF Barack Obama is a puppy-killing, pro-terrorist, cross-dressing, Jew-hating psychopath who believes that the world is flat and smurfs are real, then I'm voting for McCain and you should too.

Posted by: jsingood at March 5, 2008 11:30 AM

Whether there is an 'if '' at the beginning of that sentence or not, the statement still infers an evilness in America that doesn't exist. This is the same mindset that equates Bush with Hitler.

Frankly it scares the hell out of me that this guy is being heralded as a messiah of sorts and people aren't listening to the anti American and America is evil rhetoric. What ever happened to that 'shining city on a hill' kind of inspirational appeal from the presidential candidates? Where is the real leadership?

Posted by: bobf at March 5, 2008 11:35 AM

IF means nothing. It doesnt take a genius to know what he is implying -- that if he isnt elected Muslims will be rounded up.

Posted by: Anonymous at March 5, 2008 11:42 AM

Gandhi's Grandson also a dangerous moonbat. Mohandis Gandhi famously advocated that German Jews allow themselves to be exterminated by Hitler in a show of pacifism. His grandson offers Israel the same advice.

There is plenty of evidence that the White House... namely FDR, knew that Pearl Harbor was in danger on Dec. 7th of attack and kept quiet. Why??? He wanted us in the War. I don't think he ever dreamed the Japanese would exact such a toll, but I do believe he knew. Also I believe he allowed General Short and Admiral Kimmel to take the heat and screw their careers. We do know now they had no way to know, but I'm thinking that FDR knew and chose not to warn.
Presidents are human. Nobody gives Bush the breaks FDR got. Kind of makes me wonder why. Anytime people start treating a man like he's a savior and entity, it SCARES ME!

Gandhi's son is a nutbag! That is insane (definition of a moobat alright!)

Obama, just like Hitler and Goebbels, knows that if you tell a BIG lie, and if it's big enough, and if you repeat the Big Lie enough, people (or is that "Sheeple"?) will believe it, will incorporate it into their daily thinking, and will then allow you (the Obamanation) to lead them down the "correct path" to total federal government control over every aspect of our lives.

The Obamanation must know that it worked in Germany in the 30's; why not here in America, now? This is the strategy of the Dhimmicrat Party at least since 1992, and even well before that; Usama is just following the play-book, and, like Uncle Adolf, he is a decent speaker who says absolutely nothing but does it well.

When he does get a bit specific, what he says is truly terrifying garbage, total insanity and the ruination of this great country (Hmmm. . . Contrast Germany in the mid-30's with Germany in April/May, 1945 -- interesting comparison, and a pretty good analogy for what's to come should this moron and his hate-filled wife ascend to the presidency).

Don't be a moonbat.
People keep saying that FDR "knew" that Pearl Harbor would be attacked, but what I want to know is WHY WOULD ANYONE LET IT HAPPEN? IF FDR "knew" about the attack, wouldn't it make SCENCE to BE PREPARED to meet the attack? You do not need a MILITARY DISASTER to declare war, only the fact that an enemy had or had TRIED to attack you. All that would be needed was for ONE BOMB to fall on Peal Harbor and the war would be on.
Pearl Harbor was only ONE OF MANY POSSBLE targets. That is all that we knew. It turned out that the Jappanese hit several of those targets on the same day.

Back to the subject.
A couple of decades ago, the councel of a large American city decided to "get guns off the street", so they announced that they would "buy back UNREGISTERED guns". The problem is that they didn't bother to tell anyone that THERE WAS NO LAW REQUIREING GUN REGISTRATION in that city!
Obama is useing the same tactic by omitting the fact that there is no mass jailings of Arabs or muslims in America.
Another example of Liberals spreading FEAR to gain power.

"IF Barack Obama is a puppy-killing, pro-terrorist, cross-dressing, Jew-hating psychopath who believes that the world is flat and smurfs are real..."

Only our twoops are allowed to do that, especially killing puppies.

And, if the situation isn't addressed in a systematic manner, they will come home and begin killing Americans in the same callous, psychotic manner.

If this happens be sure to run to your friendly neighborhood mosque for sanctuary.

Oh and I heard that the marine who was killing puppies was actually an undercover PETA agent so its cool.

I've noted a couple of stories on different MSM sites - it seems that if the Obomatron wins, Texans are sexist. Whereas if The Bitch wins, Texans are racist.

if he's elected, it will be on guilt alone. God help u.s. if this person is elected to the highest position in the free world. of course, we are coming to the end of our civilization as we know it - 200-250 years is just about it as civilizations go.

I realize that the finer points of language are not important to the average wing nut. you have always shown a preference for grunted monosyllabic utterances and home spun "common sense" logic. Given the fact that most of you are incapable of writing a coherent grammatically correct sentence, I dismiss your "analysis" of Obama's comments, and the language used therein, entirely.

i don't give a shit if it was a dem who interned Japanese families during the second world war. The point is that he was an AMERICAN, and that it was a an AMERICAN governmental policy. Thus, your assertion that this type of "evil" does not exist in America is fallacious. This is a government founded on the notion that some people are property who can be bought and sold. To claim that locking people up, or enslaving them, based on ethnicity is not American denies a large portion of the history of the country.

It is actually you people who represent this evil in America. You are the source of the mentality that locks people up indefinately based on ethnicity and/or relgion, a mentality driven by fear, paranoia, and hysteria. Which is precisely what this blog demonstrates on a daily basis.

hashfan, Abraham Lincoln suspended haebeas corpus and jailed Americans from the South without giving them "due process", raised an army "to invade other states" without approval from Congress... there are many issues in our history that are shameful and should come under the heading of "hard lessons learned". We should at least be able to look back, acknowledge these errors and move on with the resolve to do things better. I can't speak for anyone else, but there is an evil in this world that is a threat. Americans had not been under attack on their own soil since the War of 1812, so yes, many of us are scared by the events we have witnessed in our time. Generalizing and catagorizing about the mindset, intellect and intent of the people who come here to comment isn't exactly enlightening either and doesn't fix the problems you mention.
There are many things America has done in the past that are shameful and I'm sure we could have quite a conversation about it, but there are many things this country has done that are honorable and good, and those actions rarely come from our government, but mostly from the people who live here and are a part of the whole we call the USA.
My deepest concern is to try to address and learn about the people who have stated and continue to express that they want to kill the "infidels in the West" as their goal. They are a handful of extremists, but they have attacked and butchered innocent people worldwide... Christians, Hindus, Buddists, not just Jews. What would you do to set this mess right if you were President???

Posted by: HoosierArmyMom at March 6, 2008 7:51 AM

Oh, and my reference to attack on our soil is "fighting a war on our soil"... that is why I don't reference Pearl Harbor, the Japanese attacked but did not wage war there, whereas the War of 1812 was British Soldiers fighting American militia on our soil where citizens witnessed it all.

Between 1910 and 1917 MEXICANS attacked American farms and ranches in the southwest and were met with gunfire from free American men and women.

In my opinion as a lawyer and an Arab always, i must point out one thing here. It is the law that grants all citizens equal rights and it is the law that also grants them the right of a fair trail and it is the law that gives them the right of a presence of an attorney while investigating suspects. However whats happening in america at the moment is that they are moving towards making some sort of "justified exceptions" of the civil liberties in the name of fighting against terror. (GOOGLE: PATRIOT ACT; see the critics against this act)..etc

It doesn't of course stop here. As we all know there are secret ILLEGAL jails around the world, and there is the famous Guantanamo Bay. All the civil rights groups and the united nation itself called for the close of that prison for one reason. and that is ones you are there you have minimal rights or called privillages that can be taken away whenever...etc

Point is America that used to be the dream world and probably is still for many people, is at risk of this policy of making exceptions to the very civil rights American's fought for for hundreds of years..

Conclusion: Obama never said he doesn't like his country. He didn't say America isn't the dream land. What he said is that there is a toxic political environment there in Washington DC that needs the courage of the people to change it. And I do not personally think that anyone could disagree with this. Not after all the lying about the war and the economic situation in america as well as healthcare.. etc
