Shrillary: Suspension Not Good Enough for David Shuster

Shrillary has spoken: A suspension is not punishment enough for David Shuster, who forgot that the endless barrage of abuse gushing out of his oversized mouth must only be directed at Republicans and Christians, not Democrats and certainly not Clintons. For suggesting that Chelsea was "sort of being pimped out in some weird sort of way" by the Clinton campaign, Hiltery insists that he be fired:

Nothing justifies the kind of debasing language that David Shuster used and no temporary suspension or half-hearted apology is sufficient.

Look for MSNBC execs to bow and scrape and comply, like the piteous weasels they are.

Shuster at first refused to apologize:

Shuster was unrepentant. He told [Clinton aide Philippe] Reines his commentary was justified because of the contrast between Chelsea Clinton's overt political role and the aggressive way campaign aides "jump down the throat" of reporters who seek to question her about it.

However, he was soon brought to heel, and groveled for forgiveness on the next day's "Morning Joe."

Imagine if Shrillary actually became president. Journalists' heads would roll if they so much as reported an uptick in inflation.

Off with the heads of those who displease the Hilldebeast.

Hat tip: Free Republic, on a tip from Cheetah.

Oh, sorry, the potential implications of this kind of unnerve me

Journalists heads SHOULD roll over the way they have acted at MSNBC during this election...maybe not David Shuster, who was just trying to be one of the gang...but Joe Scarborough, Chris Matthews and Tucker Carlson are all guilty of being in poor taste and their comments are really anti-women....and quite honestly, we women get sick of their stupid and silly comments! They are unethical and any legitimate journalist must cringe every time they open their mouths.

Hillary's just flexing her muscles. If she does secure the presidency, expect the MSM to be as "honest" and "trustworthy" as Soviet-era Pravda. Hell, the BBC will seem like a bastion of journalistic freedom by comparison.

Odd, I could swear that Hillary was singing Deutschland über Alles in that pic....Everyone get ready for whatever der Führer wants, cause she gets it.

Anything but Hillary....a blender....anything.

Could you imagine Bush or Cheney making a similar demand, especially considering the crap they've had to put up with from the MSM for the past 7 years?

That's the difference between democracy and totalitarianism. Loss of freedom of speech and the press is just an election away. I think it's time she learned a lesson on who she works for, and that if elected president doesn't make her king (or queen in her case, maybe, jury's still out).

But that's the Clinton's for you. They demand and they get, or else.

Okay, I just reread Hillary's letter to the NBC president. It makes my blood boil to know she thinks she has all that power, to demand a reporter be fired for personal comments he made. I say, the press should all start hammering her and remind her she has no right whatsoever to demand shuster be fired. He might be a despicable person, but she's not the queen. I wish others who have supported the Clintons could see them for what they are, and realize they are not at all a good fit in a democracy.

Remember the muslim rage over the Dutch cartoons a while back? I remember reading that one of the demands by Muslim leaders was that the government should have shut down the paper, and exercised authority to have editors jailed. One of the comments was the disconnect at how Muslim countries view western countries, and how the concept of democracy, a free society, and specific freedoms like speech and press were foriegn concepts in the minds of many middle easterners. They honestly thought the government SHOULD control the media and SHOULD have arrested the cartoon offenders.

Hillary reminds me of that, how she and Bill both have a certain disconnect in their thinking, a misunderstanding of the bill of rights and the reason for our freedoms. In power, I believe she would immediately begin attempting to undermine our personal freedoms, as well as institutions like press and church.
