Most Obnoxious Quotes of 2007

Right Wing News has collected the 40 most obnoxious quotes of 2007. There were some doozies, including these:

"Aww don't feel noways tired. I've come too faarrr from where I started frum… Aww could have listened all day luung." — Hillary Clinton engages in patronizing hickspeak in Selma, Alabama.
"hilary clinton and barak hussein obama cannot win, and they are put in place to assure a victory by mitt romney… this is the plan of all the insurance companies that are owned by Mormon interests. It is unfolding as the mormon church planned over the last fifty years." — Roseanne Barr
"Perhaps the outpouring of sympathy for [the falsely arrested Duke lacrosse players] Reade Seligman, Collin Finnerty and David Evans is just a bit misplaced....As students of Duke University or other elite institutions, these young men will get on with their privileged lives… They are very differently situated in life from, say, the young women of the Rutgers University women's basketball team." — Nightline co-anchor Terry Moran explains how the men falsely accused of rape got off light compared to the women who were called "nappy headed hos"
"And I think the almost undeviating support by Great Britain for the ill-advised policies of President Bush in Iraq have been a major tragedy for the world." — Jimmy Carter castigates the British for cooperating with his own country
"Let's just say that global warming deniers are now on a par with Holocaust deniers, though one denies the past and the other denies the present and future." — Columnist Ellen Goodman
"Now I believe, myself, that the secretary of state, the secretary of defense and you have to make your own decision as to what the president knows: that this war is lost, that the surge is not accomplishing anything." — Democratic Senator Majority Leader, Harry Reid
"Al Qaeda really hurt us, but not as much as Rupert Murdoch has hurt us, particularly in the case of Fox News. Fox News is worse than Al Qaeda — worse for our society." — MSNBC's Keith Olbermann
"I have zero doubt that if Dick Cheney was not in power, people wouldn't be dying needlessly tomorrow… I'm just saying if he did die, other people, more people would live. That's a fact." — Bill Maher
"You don't have money to fund the war or children, but you're going to spend it to blow up innocent people if we could get enough kids to grow old enough for you to send to Iraq to get their heads blown off for the president's amusement." — Democratic Congressman Pete Stark
"Over time, however, the endless war in Iraq began to play a role in natural selection. Only idiots signed up; only idiots died. Back home, the average I.Q. soared." — Ted Rall

Civilization is getting shouted down by a horde of despicable lunatics.

It's in the interests of greensanes that ordinary people cannot afford to drive their cars and heat their homes - especially if it means more of the ordinary people's food goes down the biofuel drainpipe.

Inestimable Privilege. In an extraordinary decision, Judge Camarata denied the Burkes' right to the child because of their lack of belief in a Supreme Being. Despite the Burkes' "high moral and ethical standards," he said, the New Jersey state constitution declares that "no person shall be deprived of the inestimable privilege of worshiping Almighty God in a manner agreeable to the dictates of his own conscience."

The New Jersey Bureau of Children's Services and Court recognize a blunt fact - that growing up under atheist parents is intellectually dogmatic and philosophically freedomless, as the 'enlightened and tolerant' parents will surely indoctrinate their children in the belief that their lives are meaningless jumbles of random events, and that belief in a Creator is akin to voluntary insanity and mental retardation.

Van: That Hillary quote (hilarious!) is more "poor black" even "slavery-days black" than "hickspeak." As I recall, Shrills was at a black church in Selma when she engaged in this ridiculous pandering. To listen to this woman utter the entire poem in her "fake black" speak is actually PAINFUL! That any, and I mean ANY, black would vote for her after hearing this obscenity (blatantly racist in the extreme) is beyond my comprehension.

Yet, it looks like, once again, blacks will vote for the very people who will keep them oppressed forevermore. Incredible!

Ted Rall is in danger of an early demise. He is not only as idiotic as the others; he's insultingly so. I'm certain he will get hit by a bus because he's too stupid to LOOK BOTH WAYS. I'm also sure he ruined any chance of any protection from the military (or police) - they'll all laugh while some mooslim saws his screaming head off with a dull blade.

I'd love to be able to look him in the eyes - face to face - and tell him what a worthless bastard he is. But alas - all liberals are cowards.

Notice how liberals are too cowardly to say anything disparaging about islam

"Ted Rall is in danger of an early demise."

Yes, but I'd say it's more like danger of his fellow people who he's needlessly pissed off with his heartless comments. One day he'll probably be invited to speak at what he thinks will be a pandering awards show, but when he gets there, it turns out to be a trap for him set by the families of Pat Tillman, Ronald Reagan, and some of the other troops in Iraq, all of whom are justifiably furious at how this despicable little worm dishonored the memories of their loved ones so soon after their deaths. They'll all surround the gutless prick and eagerly pound him into hamburger meat.
