Bill Maher Denounces the Ten Commandments

Via NewsBusters, the sophisticated theological insight of Hollyweird intellectual Bill Maher:

If I had a child, the last book I would ever give to teach morality would be the Bible, especially the Old Testament. […] at least half of the Commandments are stupid.

Furthermore, God is a poopyhead.

Watching scum like Maher use television to take over Western Civilization is like having to witness wild monkeys run loose in the Sistine Chapel, crapping into their hands and flinging it at the frescoes.

On a tip from Cheetah.

Does that mean he thinks

Thou Shalt Not Murder

is constricting his style also??

Posted by: kuhnkat at January 20, 2008 12:23 AM

Only if the "murdering" is of animals. He's a PETA tard.

And he also thinks the world would be better off if Dick Cheney had been killed. Killing animals = unforgivable liberal sin. Killing prominent Republicans = good for the world.

"To those people who say, `My father is alive because of animal experimentation,' I say `Yeah, well, good for you. This dog died so your father could live.' Sorry, but I am just not behind that kind of trade off." -Bill Maher, PeTA celebrity spokesman

Don't forget abortion. OOPS! Sorry, that's not murder. It's just the surgical removal of a blob of protoplasm.

The best part of his comment in my view was "If I had a child..." That phrasing leads me to believe he doesn't have any children, which is definitely good news.

The 10 Commandments are part of the foundation of Western Civilization. Maher and his fellow "progressive" atheists are hell-bent on destroying Western Civ, which is why they easily make common cause with the Islamo-fascist jihadis Maher admits to admiring. (Recall after the 9-11 attacks, he praised the courage of the jihadi pilots who crashed the planes into the WTC and the Pentagon.)

In slightly more cheerful news: Leftist Lawyer Pervert who Vandalized Marine's Car is sentenced to probation, lectured by judge, plans to move to France.

Oh, but if you read to the end the article, the scumbag leftist lawyer shows no contrition and plays the victim card. Typical lib.

Bill Maher . Who would waste their time
listening to that greasy porn pig. ME ! !
I made the mistake to actually listen to
this idiot and the stone-em guest . My huge
mistake. . .
And why in the world would
John Fund appear on that slime show ??

In a century, if all goes well, the Bible will be studied by billions, but Bill Maher will be the study of a few academics as a footnote in the field of 'Late 20th century comedians'.

Maher and others like him (I don't have to point the finger, you know who you are) are like bratty children; they will be even MORE obnoxious if they think you are ignoring them.

Don't bash us Atheists just because of The Maher(douche)Bag.

I believe in laws based on logical morals, you know the whole, stealing, killing, rape, thing. And I can't stand vegan PETA/Green tards that think they're saving the world.

Posted by: HateCityPunk at January 20, 2008 12:00 PM

Not surprising for Maher. He's always been intolerant of Christians. In church today, I prayed for him that he would one day repent and seek God's forgiveness.

I am a born again Christian. If what you say is true and you don't support groups like the ACLU or other anti-Christian front groups who want to strip this country of every fiber of its Christian heritage, then you're cool with me.

Posted by: Kristy at January 20, 2008 12:15 PM

Believe me, i hate any and all civil liberty groups that want to smother the rights of some in order to please others. That's outright bullshit, you cannot call this place America if you take away the smallest right from anyone for any reason. I support your right to worship christ the same as I support the Nation of Islams right to spew it's annoying "da white man done us wrong" propaganda.

Sounds like another dissatisfied crusty pissed off at the hordes of PC enforcers.
