Moonbat Doctor: Parents Should Be Fined and Taxed

In case the antihuman agenda of the global warming cult wasn't obvious enough, Associate Professor Barry Walters, who teaches obstetric medicine at the University of Western Australia, writes in Medical Journal of Australia that humans should be discouraged from reproducing with a fine of over $5,000 for having a baby. Added to this would be a $800 per child per year "carbon tax."

Walters hates babies because:

Every newborn baby in Australia represents a potent source of greenhouse gas emissions for an average of 80 years, not simply by breathing but by the profligate consumption of resources typical of our society.

Whether this would achieve the progressive goal of ending the human race is doubtful, but it would at least discourage large families among those not rich enough to afford frivolities like environmental extremism.

Wouldn't it be horrifying to learn that antihuman jihadists like Walters are perfectly aware that global warming is a hoax? It's not exactly a secret.

Moonbats hate babies because they hate people.

This is really a ploy to attack the West with. Marxism never really died, it just changed forms. It has now spread to many different "causes" of the organized Left. What they want is the West destroyed and to do so they must destroy white people because they produced it. Then will they be able to elevate the pagan savage primitives they think society should be modeled after.

I think the left simply hates children, except to the extent that they ca be used as props to expand the teacher's unions and government health care.

PERSONAL CARBON LIMIT FOR EVERYONE

Every person in Britain would be given a "carbon limit" under radical government plans to limit emissions, it was announced today.
Everybody could be issued with a "carbon credit card" which they would swipe when buying petrol, paying their utility bills, purchasing food, or travelling.
People with lifestyles that are damaging to the environment - such as frequent fliers, motorists who drive gas-guzzling vehicles or people who live in large homes with poor insulation - would have to buy more carbon credits from greener individuals.

Where is your Carbon card Comrade?

10 year old Aussie girl is gang raped by nine teens and men. In response to this mild act of casual sexual experimentation, the rapists receive the totally disproportionate, very harsh, utterly draconian punishment of... Probation.

Global scamming apologist excuses Kyoto Protocol's utterly hopeless decade of uber-expensive non-performance, since Kyoto is 'only a 10 year old child'.

So, after Madonna buys the carbon cards of 10,000 dirt-poor British people to fly her private jet to some Global Warming conference, forcing the destitute to do without heat, food, transportation, in return for being able to eat, will the leftards finally realize there's such a thing as "predictable unintended consequences" or will it still all remain a huge mystery to them why their do-good projects never work?

There should be a tax imposed on leftists for every time they say something stupid in public.

Posted by: Friend of USA at December 11, 2007 8:40 PM

V- Those leftists (such as Professor Walters) who hate children do so because investing the time and resources needed to raise children interferes with the pursuit of narcissistic self-actualization. They resent deeply those people that do have children and need to devalue procreation in order to validate their own choices. This resentment fuels hatred of the values that promote family life, hatred of all of the values that keep society healthy. They hate themselves, they hate their culture, and eventually they hate all of humanity. Using the power of the state to force their way of life on everyone else is the final act in the destruction of the culture they despise.

Helsing and you guys... What's your take on the whole Ozone Layer depletion thing? After DDT and global warming, I'm starting to suspect that every environmental concern is based on hogwashed, politicized science.

Moonbats from Holland, that bastion of amorality passing itself off as freedom, blame the orphan they adopted for their atrocious parenting:

HH: Okay. And do you believe, would you say the same things about Mohammed as you just said about Joseph Smith?

LO’D: Oh, well, I’m afraid of what the…that’s where I’m really afraid. I would like to criticize Islam much more than I do publicly, but I’m afraid for my life if I do.

HH: Well, that’s candid.

Time smears anthropologists working with US Forces to help bring peace to Afghanistan as weapon-wielders having compromised intergrity.

"BUUUUURRRRNING HOT"
According to the original hypothesis the presence of large amounts of CFCs was the cause of the "hole" - more like thinning - in the northern hemisphere over the Arctic. This model was blown apart when they discovered identical thinning over the southern hemisphere as well - without the presence of sufficiently large quantities of CFCs in the atmosphere.

The second blow comes from the fact that there is no actual specified mechanism for CFCs to metabolise ozone. In a lab, under very specific conditions and with the right catalysts you can make it happen, but it was assumed that the simple presence of CFCs in the atmosphere with ozone would be enough. It isn't.

The most likely candidate for ozone depletion? Oddly enough, the sun. Solar particle radiation is direct to the poles by the earth's magnetic field, and the mechanism for particle radiation to deplete ozone is very simple: it hits it and smashes it into its constituent atoms. Unlike the CFC model this explains the presence of thinning at both poles and the little-reported fact that the holes have remained despite CFCs being almost completely washed out of the atmosphere.

But, y'know, never let the truth get in the way of a good scare story...

So Hillary suggested giving $5,000 to every baby born, and some loony Aussies want to tax parents at least $5,000 per baby born.

Leftists might want to get their talking points synchronized; my head is beginning to hurt.

Pam, it's good socialist thinking. From each according to his ability (to pay the state), to each according to his need (to pay the state).

All that money moving around is a sure sign that the economy is in tip-top shape! Tractor Production is up 50000% this year, comrades!

"I think the left simply hates children, except to the extent that they ca be used as props to expand the teacher's unions and government health care."

When liberals say "its for the children", they really mean it's for themsleves, since they're too busy being children to have children. This enviorokook nonsense is a penance for their sins of indulgence. They know all too well it doesn't do anything for the earth, its just their way of assuaging their guilt that their conscience (or what's left of it) has created.
