Why Bush = Hitler Explained on NPR

You had to know that someday we would get something for the taxpayer money flushed down National Public Radio. Here it is at last — the payoff: an explanation as to why President Bush is equivalent to Adolf Hitler.

This counterintuitive belief is accepted on faith by moonbats, but NPR brought on former Al Gore adviser Naomi Wolf so that we can all understand why a regrettably moderate conservative president should not be distinguished from a genocidal totalitarian socialist dictator. Take it away, Naomi:

I stick very rigorously to the evidence. You had the Nazis unloaded coffins at night. We saw coffins being unloaded at night. They talked about enhanced interrogation, meaning torture. Karl Rove talked about enhanced interrogation, meaning torture. They said, you know, we've got to invade Czechoslovakia, because it’s a staging ground for terrorists. We said we had to invade Iraq, a country we're not at war with, because they're torturing their ethnic minorities, it’s a staging ground for terrorists, and they hate our freedoms. I don't need to draw an analogy. The analogies are there.

If that's not enough, the troubles in Pakistan are further proof of W's fascistic iniquity. She calls for a "democracy movement" in America, since presumably Bush will be declaring martial law before the elections next November.

Here's further evidence of Wolf's thesis that America is actually a police state: we are forced to finance bogus propaganda via state-controlled media like NPR.

Naomi_Wolf.jpg   Wolf: "But Bush is Hitler! He really truly is Hitler!"

Since Bush is Hitler and we're living under a new fascism, I'm sure she must be hiding out in an undisclosed location in an attempt to avoid being rounded up.

Naomi Wolf is a retard.

If you want to play her game, it can work just as well to prove that Naomi Wolf is Hitler.

Hitler wore Earth tones to appear more manly. Naomi Wolf advised Al Gore to wear Earth tones to appear more manly. Hitler used propaganda to advance his political agenda. Naomi Wolf uses propaganda to advance her agenda. Hitler wrote Mein Kampf as a screed against a group of people he despised. Naomi Wolf wrote The Beauty Myth as a screed against a group of people she despised.

Hell, I could make my cat into Hitler using NaomiWolfLogic. (Note the moustache.)

Rosenanne Barr has gone on a seriously hilariously moonbat Communist rant on her blog.

Complete with actual calls for a communist utopia, a "maximum wage" and the divestiture of all assets over $100 million to the state.

Goofy gossip blogger Perez Hilton screen capped her insane moonbat blog. It's glorious. Here is the link:

Almost as funny as the blog are some of the insane leftwing nuts commenting on that gossip blog. Honestly, you'll probably want to cut and paste a few of those, as well.

If Bush were really Hitler, she would be in prison not spouting nonsense on the airwaves of government funded radio.

All this woman needs is to be bent over a piano and banged real hard. Maybe thats why she is so cranky - she just aint having her field plowed enough. Maybe Karl Rove could do the honors? It would be no less bizarre than the hookup between Mary Matalin and James "Old Lizard Head" Carville.

"“I wasn’t myself in this visual experience,” she continues. “I was a 13-year-old boy sitting next to him [Jesus] and feeling feelings I’d never felt in my lifetime, of a 13-year-old boy being with an older male who he really loves and admires and loves to be in the presence of. It was probably the most profound experience of my life. I haven’t talked about it publicly.”
Well, no wonder. She confesses she still feels awkward speaking about it. “It’s very embarrassing. We’re intellectuals, we’re on the left, we’re not supposed to talk like that,” she says later ."

I like her reasoning. Axis Sally sat down to pee, Naomi Wolf sits down to pee, so Naomi Wolf is just like Axis Sally, right? The analogies are there.

I guess I would be really upset about this if I thought ANYONE heard it. NPR has the rating points of Airhead America.

What is more disturbing is the fact that Hitler's actions are reduced to soundbites. He was the single most evil force of our time and she throws the name around like he's just another bad guy a la Osama, Polpot, Dada

The comparison for Iraq doesnt apply since the Gulf War of 1991 never technically ended, it was only a cease fire. Most people are shocked to learn the Korean War never really ended and we are technically still at war with North Korea with a 50 year long cease fire. No peace treaty was every signed in either case.

The thing is, right-wingers follow the real Constitution... not this imaginary "living" Constitution of the left, with its "penumbras and emanations," where it can mean whatever a judge wants it to mean. Where the "free exercise of religion" means sterilizing the public square of every trace of religiosity. Where "unreasonable search and seizure" means any form of surveillance a foreign terrorist might object to. Where "cruel and unusual punishment" means any sort of discomfort a terrorist or a murderer complains about. Where eminent domain allows the government to confiscate your property and give it someone else in the interests of the "common good." Where the right to bear arms means you don't have a right to bear arms.

I stand up for the real Constitution. Not the bastardized "living Constitution" abomination the left-wing has created.

Wow! Naomi sure does some seriously impressive thinking. But she left out a few key points from the Bush=Hitler explanation. I supplement:

Hitler did not have a complete moustache; Bush also does not have a complete moustache. Hitler was rarely photographed in a hat; Bush never seems to wear a hat. Hitler sometimes traveled in a private plane provided by the state; same with Bush. Hitler could not speak Russian or Serbo-Croation-- neither can Bush! Both men frequenly used footwear, and both had good relationships with their mothers! God, this is eery.

This is typical of the left. Blame the other guy for their beliefs. The fact is they love to claim the other side of doing what they actually do. Put you on the defensive. Call you names. Never talk about facts. Heaven help them if they could state the same fact with the same number two times in a row. Only way they can win is to lie and destroy the otherside on a personal level. So they are the only one left standing. They have no morals but a belief that only their voice should be heard. They want to tell you what you can an can not do. America is a very sad state of affairs because the good people are too afraid to talk because they will be attacked and called names. Leaving the voices of the liberals as the voice of America. Liberals wake up if you are the voice of America with all you stand for you will only make the whole Muslim world hate us. Because what you stand for is what they hate the most.

Was the Writ of Habeas Corpus part of your real constitution?

You are absolutely entitled to your beliefs regarding constitutional law. Keep in mind, however, that they are contrary to the concept of precedential law, upon which US law is established.

Posted by: GWBush at November 21, 2007 12:40 PM

Piece of cake. The key word in the Fourth Amendment is "unreasonable." There is nothing "unreasonable" about listening into phone calls made from known terrorists.

As for Habeas Corpus, no less than Abraham Lincoln suspended Habeas Corpus, as did FDR. The Constitution is not a suicide pact, although the left would certainly like it to be. Especially the ACLU, which was founded for the express purpose of destroying America.

Are you honestly trying to argue that the right and the Republican Party don't want to "tell you what you can and can't do"?

This is the party that proposed constitutional amendments (the Holiest of Holies!) to prevent same sex marriage. This is the party that seeks to fund education and charity only for 'faith based' organizations.

Sounds like they want to tell me what I can't do pretty bad.

Posted by: GWBush at November 21, 2007 12:49 PM

Yeah, they proposed an amendment. And even though I disagree with FMA, at least they went about changing the Constitution the right way.... sending it through a long, careful amendment process. Whereas leftists just appoint activist judges who alter the meaning of the Constitution to suit their whims.

The warrantless wiretapping is not restricted to known terrorists. The NSA can listen to anyone at any time, with no judicial or prosocutorial review.

You said you stand up for the real constitution. You expicitly stated that the constitution doesn't mean "mean whatever a judge wants it to mean". So if the courts have no say over what is ultimately meant by the constitution, who does?

Posted by: GWBush at November 21, 2007 12:56 PM

Robert Mahoney

You're not really quoting a Die Hard movie in a debate about terrorism and national security, are you?

Posted by: GWBush at November 21, 2007 1:00 PM

Actually, the NSA is quite limited in the types of calls it can listen into. In fact, soldiers in Iraq have died because the NSA couldn't even listen in on calls within Iraq that happened to pass through the USA.

Despite your paranoid delusions, Dick Cheney is not listening in when you order pizza.

And your second response highlights the problem. The courts are completely unaccountable. Which is why, rather than an FMA, I favor a Judicial Restraint Amendment (JRA) that would provide a check against the judiciary by limiting the ability of judges to make law, and by providing a legislative check against rulings that gut the Constitution. If SCOTUS rulings could be overturned by, for example, a two-thirds congressional majority, that would restrain the desire of judges to enact social policy from the bench.

Scalia, Thomas, Alito, and Roberts are not the problem.

Who voted that the state could confiscate property at its whim? Breyer. Ginsburg. Stevens.

Who voted that states can practice racial discrimination? Breyer. Ginsburg. Stevens.

Who voted that the government has the right to regulate political speech? Breyer. Ginsburg. Stevens.

The only people whining about the warrantless wiretaps (few as they were and were done because of communications with known terrorists) are people with something to hide. The government has neither the manpower nor the time to randomly go around wiretapping people for kicks. Name one person whos been harmed by them? Only paranoid Black Helicopter types think the warrantless wiretaps make Bush a Hitler. Geesh. Get a grip. maybe if something like what happened on the TV series Jericho happened for real all the whining would finally stop.

When Clintoon was president the same types complained about that system overseas that intercepted satellite communications.

On Bush and habeas corpus:

“Except as provided in section 1005 of the Detainee Treatment Act of 2005, no court, justice, or judge shall have jurisdiction to hear or consider an application for a writ of habeas corpus filed by or on behalf of an alien detained by the United States who has been determined by the United States to have been properly detained as an enemy combatant or is awaiting such determination.” §1005(e)(1), 119 Stat. 2742.

- from the Military Commissions Act

On 20 February 2007, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit upheld this provision of the MCA in a 2-1 decision of the Case Boumediene v. Bush. The Supreme Court let the Circuit Court's decision stand by refusing to hear the detainees' appeal. On June 29, 2007, the U.S. Supreme Court reversed its April 2007 decision and agreed to hear the appeals of Guantanamo detainees who are seeking habeas corpus review of their detentions.[3]
Under the MCA, the law restricts habeas appeals for only those aliens detained as "enemy combatants," or awaiting such determination. Left unchanged is the provision that, after such determination is made, it is subject to appeal in U.S. Court, including a review of whether the evidence warrants the determination. If the status is upheld, then their imprisonment is deemed lawful.,

- from Wikipeadea

The Military Commissions Act was passed by Congress and upheld by the Supreme Court and can be appealed. Anyone that reads it can make no mistake as to whom this law applies to and what the intent of the law is. This isn't even a shadow of what Lincoln did.

"You remember the Writ of Habeas Corpus don't you. That is the part of your sacred constitution that President Bush has suspended."

Kevin's response the above post says it all and really shows how silly GWBush's comments are, they are nothing more than parroting typical lefty talking points that when scrutinized are devoid of fact let alone reality!

Here's Kevin's response:

“Except as provided in section 1005 of the Detainee Treatment Act of 2005, no court, justice, or judge shall have jurisdiction to hear or consider an application for a writ of habeas corpus filed by or on behalf of an alien detained by the United States who has been determined by the United States to have been properly detained as an enemy combatant or is awaiting such determination.” §1005(e)(1), 119 Stat. 2742.

The above sounds fairly clear to me, the only people not being provided Habeas Corpus are enemy combatants that are waging war against our nation and I have yet to see (and I challenge GWBush to provide proof and facts that state otherwise) where ANY American citizen has been denied Habeas Corpus since this was enacted.

In addition, since these enemy combatants are religious warriors and not fighting on behalf of a recognized country technically they aren't even entitled to the same protections provided under the Geneva Convention let alone the protections afforded under the UNITED STATE OF AMERICA'S constitution as they are not AMERICANS, they are enemy combatants with no country of representation let alone the fact THEY ARE NOT AMERICAN CITIZENS!!

Is this fact really that difficult to differentiate for some, seriously? Please GWBush, get real and lay off of the talking points, it's getting old! America has the most liberties of any nation on earth and that hasn't changed, and I myself could care less if the government is conducting wire taps if it protects even one American or prevents another 9-11 (or worse) from occurring. We are at war and our constitution and liberties won't mean crap if we don't stop the real villains in all this, fascist Islam!

As another poster alluded to, our government has more important things to be concerned about then listening to your calls to a phone sex service! If you want to do something useful try doing something to unit our country to save our Republic from the real enemy, and the real enemy is not our government, it's fascist Islam!

He told the people that all Germans should live in Germany and that the Sudentland should be Germany. The real reason he did it was because all of Czechoslovakia's defenses were in the Sudentland. Nowhere in either of the invasions did Hitler mention terrorists.

Of Course, Winston Churchill was exactly like Hitler. Go read some of his old speeches. He actually calls for fighting the enemy and not giving up when you're down. How Facist of him.
