Time Magazine: Global Warming Killed the Dinosaurs

When I was a kid, I was told that dinosaurs became extinct when the climate went cold, probably as a result of a giant meteor and/or volcanic eruptions. Like most life forms, dinosaurs liked it warm, which it was even in the polar regions during their heyday.

But prehistory has had to be revised, now that global cooling is passé, and any ill that can't be blamed on the war in Iraq must be a result of global warming — even, for those gullible enough to believe Time Magazine — the demise of the dinosaurs.

By spewing ash into the air that blocks out the sun, volcanoes used to cause cooling. But in keeping with politically correct ideology, this now causes warming. Remarkably, Al Gore's reengineering of reality works retroactively, so that it applies even to dinosaurs, who did not know enough to save themselves by voting for higher taxes and more government control.

Time quotes a politically astute scientist who knows where grant money comes from as claiming that volcanic activity "leads to greenhouse warming that puts a major stress on the environment" — thus dooming the dinosaurs.

For those who don't grasp Time's subtle message, I'll summarize:

WE'RE ALL DOOMED! WE'RE GOING TO GO THE WAY OF THE DINOSAURS! ONLY THE GORACLE'S GOSPEL CAN SAVE US!

If only the dinosaurs had embraced the gospel of the Goracle.

Theres yet another theory as to why the world emerged from the last ice age around 12,000 years ago. Huge comet full of CO2.. ugh... This was on the HISTORY Channel of all places. I thought I was watching one of those really bad SCI-FI Channel produced mockumentaries - alas they were serious!

The History Channel and the SciFi Channel are both owned by NBC-Universal, so you get the same schlocky propaganda on both.

So, we can blame warming on Krakatoa and Mt. St. Helens?
The lady is a twit who has probably never heard of Krakatoa.

Hey waitaminnit, if volcanoes are the source of CO2, then human activities are NOT to blame?!! Get back in goose-step, Time!

"...any ill that can't be blamed on the war in Iraq must be a result of global warming..."

A very catchy phrase, but TOTALLY FALLACIOUS!!!

You conciously neglect the fact that the JOOS are to blame for the leftover bad things which cannot be pinned on local despotism and overall ineptness - such as sucking economies, tyurannical Middle Eastern despots, CommunoSocialism's failures in the USSR and impotence.

You Zionist!!!!
