David McCumber, the Seattle P-I's "Decider"

David McCumber, managing editor of the Seattle Post-Intelligencer, has spoken from on high, explaining why his paper obstructed FBI attempts to defend us from suspected Muslim terrorists by refusing to run their pictures:

It seems that the lives of us little people are acceptable sacrifices for the sake of journalistic integrity. But McCumber does feel our pain:

I understand that people have a hard time with the concept that we get to decide what is news and what isn't, and what is fair and what isn't.

Ace responds to this weasel's staggering arrogance:

Umm... no, actually, you don't.
That's the problem. You keep insisting you have a more important, more influential job than the rest of us have agreed to give you. You jerkoffs keep describing the dream job that you wish you had, wished we would allow you to have. You simply refuse to accept that we do not give such important jobs out willy-nilly, and we especially don't hand them out to smugly incompetent morons like yourself who crave that sort of power just because they petulantly demand it.
You shouldn't wear so much make-up. It makes you look like a whore.
You're not the gatekeeper, "Decider."

McCumber tries to justify his terrorist-enabling irresponsibility with a dyslexic attempt to quote Benjamin Franklin:

They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporaray safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.

The absurdity of moonbats' attempts to use their professed love for liberty to justify their willful obstruction of any and all attempts to defend our lives from Islamic terrorists has reached yet another peak of absurdity. We are asked to believe that publishing the pictures of suspected terrorist scouts before they've actually sunk a boatload of innocent Americans would violate their privacy. Yet privacy is not an issue when it comes to celebrating Seattle's recent Hempfest 2007. Here's a picture the Seattle P-I's high journalistic standards didn't prevent it from running:

There won't be much of this on display when sharia is imposed. But like all useful idiots, McCumber is oblivious to the fact that America's enemies are his enemies too.

Hopefully if those guys are terrorists and succeed, the casualties will be all moonbats.

Sure he can decide what gets put in his newspaper. And the rest of us can decide we won't buy it because it's cr@p. Goes both ways!

I live in the Seattle area, which is where the PI is published. Hardly anyone here reads it. The only thing holding the PI afloat is a special Joint Operating Agreement between the PI and the Seattle Times. The Seattle Times gives the PI money in order to keep it going so that lousy front for a sixties underground newspaper doesn't go under and put the Seattle Times under the gun of the Anti-Trust laws.

How is public vigalance "giving up liberty"?

Ignore my last post. Here's a better quote:

"Eternal vigalance is the price of liberty."

Hempfest's Honey... incredible...

David McCumber... not credible.

You could land a 737 on that titty.

And that's about all I would want to do to it. I like the shapely, perky little girls.

"special Joint Operating Agreement"
--in light of the marijuana thing, that really made me laugh.

The "Decider" reminds me of the Moonbats at the Pittsburgh P-G, who have taken it upon themselves to tell us all what is right (as it were) about the Flight 93 Memorial. Like the "Decider," the Pittsburgh rag assumes, for some unknown reason, that it knows best, and the rest of America -- all 250 million of us -- are fools. I almost (but not quite) hate to tell them it's the exact opposite.

BTW, "Decider," dude, women don't wear that much lipstick (I'm making a big assumption here that you actually are of the male persuasion -- I could be wrong).
