NASA Scientist Denounces "Arrogant" Global Warming Hoax

NASA administrator Michael Griffin has joined the long and growing list of scientists brave enough to risk the political and economic consequences of refusing to drink the global warming Kool-Aid. NPR was in for a jolt when it asked Griffin if he is concerned about global warming and got this response:

I have no doubt that a trend of global warming exists. I am not sure that it is fair to say that it is a problem we must wrestle with.
To assume that it is a problem is to assume that the state of Earth's climate today is the optimal climate, the best climate that we could have or ever have had and that we need to take steps to make sure that it doesn't change. I guess I would ask which human beings — where and when — are to be accorded the privilege of deciding that this particular climate that we have right here today, right now is the best climate for all other human beings. I think that's a rather arrogant position for people to take.

Creepy fellow NASA scientist James Hansen — who was prominently featured in Al Gore's pseudo-scientific propaganda film A Convenient Lie, and has been making a fortune by politically exploiting the global warming hoax — once again could only sputter in incoherent rage:

It's unbelievable. I thought he had been misquoted. It's so unbelievable.

Sorry Hansen. Too many people are wise. The jig is up for the anthropogenic climate change swindle.

Hansen still says we're doomed.

So much for the troll who insisted there were no "mainstream" scientists who even questioned catastrophic anthropogenic global warming.

On the other hand, now that Bush is drinking the ManBearPig Kool-Aid, maybe the left will decide he's as big a genius as Al Gore.

yea really, that troll really went off on the gore thread. ha

I laughed out loud when I read the quote from Griffin. Classic! Arrogance indeed.

It's heartening to see. I just hope people come to their senses before these global warming hacks can destroy our economy.

He's not alone in questioning this myth of man made global warming. Actually, there are quite a few scientists with fabulous credentials questioning the theory. Of course, whenever you bring them up, the lefty moonbat's, for whom Global Warming is a religion, reflexively shout "They're all in the pocket of the big evil oil companies!!!!" All without ever knowing anything about the credentials of the individuals in question.

One rule of thumb that you can always take to the bank is, that whenever someone tosses phrases into the debate like" "...there's a consensus..." or "....the debate is over...." you can rest assured you're dealing with a lying scoundrel.

But to argue with these people over this issue produces comparable results to arguing with a devout Christian and asserting that Jesus may have been a magician. (No, I don't believe that..just using it for illustration....). This is further proof that global warming has filled the need that is within all of us to believe in something greater than ourselves, and has therefore become the religion of the truly Godless left.

Two documentaries on the subject worth viewing:

"Doomsday Called Off" which first aired on Canadian TV
and
"The Great Global Warming Swindle" which first aired on TV in the U.K.

P.S. Lefties will try to discredit the British production vaguely citing "innacurracies". A statistic about the percentage of CO2 produced by volcanoes was found to be incorrect and has since been corrected in the DVD version of this documentary, but to the lefties that discredits the documentary in its entirety. If only they held the New York Times to such standards....LOL!

Dr. Hansen,
I'm not sure it's unfair to say that we're going
to be looking into your funding...extensively!

The Henny Penny movement in the U.S. is an attempt by the Democrats to displace the War on Terror with a bogeyman that will create such fear in the populace that they will easily be ushered to power.

Problem is: nobody cares. Like Pirates 3. Ho-hum.

Actually, John, I thought "Pirates III" was as good or even better than the first one (#2, I grant you, lacked quite a few things, especially humor). But I get that you're being at least a little facetious.

Good point, though, on the Enviro-Moonbats looking to take attention away from the real enemy, Islamofascism, and draw it squarely onto multiple layers of idiocy like "man-made" global warming (don'cha love that Mars and Neptune are also warming? Man, those evil SUV's are everywhere!), "fairness" in public speech (the "Hush Rush" bill), "unequal" distribution of income (Marxism in it's purest form), etc., etc., ad nauseum -- the disease of Liberalism, since the '06 elections on full display for all to see. Stalin and Mao have come home to the Defeatocrat Party in the United States.
