Students for a Democratic Society Creeps Out of Its Grave

The Left's attempts to drag us through a time warp into the 1960s are getting increasingly desperate. Students for a Democratic Society, a flower-child era organization that represented moonbattery at its most psychotic, has crawled out of its grave. Its first national convention in 37 years is scheduled to take place next week in Chicago, where it incited riots at the 1968 Democratic Party convention in an attempt to derail the presidential bid of pro-war liberal candidate Hubert Humphrey.

Seven SDS moonbats, including Hanoi Jane hubby-to-be Tom Hayden, were arrested for inciting the riots. The "Chicago Seven" were given token sentences that were overturned on a technicality. The Weathermen faction of SDS reacted to the trial by inciting more riots in Chicago in 1969. These were promoted as the "Days of Rage." The opening event was the demolition of a statue dedicated to eight policeman who had been killed in a riot. The red fist from "Days of Rage" promotional posters has been adapted to advertise the new SDS convention.

The original SDS was composed largely of "red diaper babies" — the offspring of communist activists from the 1930s. Eventually it was taken over by the terrorist Weatherman faction, which called for a race war against "Amerikkka" on behalf of the Third World.

The new incarnation of SDS espouses exactly the sort of moonbattery you might expect at its website, where you can register for the convention. It ought to be a riot. Chicago cops are reminded not to come without their nightsticks.

The case against intelligent design presents exhibits A-D.

Seriously, if these four pussies are in any way representative, we've got nothing to worry about.

Let's see. NYC has a population of over 8 million, and I see 4 people here. So percentagewise they represent?
