Just When I Thought I'd Heard Everything...

You might have heard of Rachel Corrie, the demented anti-American moonbat with a particular grudge against Israel who famously displayed the wisdom for which her kind is so well known by deliberately standing in front of an Israeli bulldozer in an attempt to impose her pro-terrorist views on the conduct of that country's policy. The driver of the bulldozer couldn't see her, with the result that there is now one less rabid kook poisoning the world with left-wing rhetoric.

Now her family is suing the company that manufactured the bulldozer. Yes, I'm serious.

Check out Smooth Stone for full details and background.

It turns out today is the anniversary of the death of Rachel Corrie, aka "St. Pancake." Click over to Something... and Half of Something for a highly informative piece on that excellent site's choice of Moonbat of the Year for 2003.

Someone is behind all this idiocy.
The moonbats got their martyr now they need to elevate her a little.
Have you seen this moonbat galore website:

Great site, Van Helsing, and thanks for the track back. Now, for your enjoyment, check out How Reuters transformed an accidental death into homicide

Thanks for the URL. Amazing: a whole website dedicated to charging Caterpillar with war crimes for making bulldozers. Of course, the site doesn't seem to mention why Israel would want to bulldoze particular buildings. It wouldn't have anything to do with combating terrorism, so as to protect innocent civilians, would it? Nah, they probably do it just to be evil — the same reason Caterpillar makes their bulldozers.

Thanks, I did enjoy this link. It's an interesting article on how the folks at Reuters — who after 9/11 couldn't distinguish between terrorists and "freedom fighters" — used deceptive photographs to make Rachel Corrie's killing look deliberate. I believe these are the same pictures that can be found at Something... and Half of Something.

"eceptive photographs to make Rachel Corrie's killing look deliberate"

Oh yes Reuters, well known for its journalistic integrity.
They actually invent politically correct lingo for the journos.
I believe it was Reuters' people who changed "terror" into "fight for freedom".

For those who may not be aware, Corrie is not just any Idiotarian. She won the Fiskie for hopping in front of that bulldozer. That's about as high as a moonbat can aspire. Frankly, she should have won the Darwin Award, too. Danged Political Correctness.

Considering she (and others) were deliberately getting in the way of the bulldozers, it's absurd to claim it's murder by the Israelis. It doesn't even it make much sense to call it an accident.

Actually was going to comment something short, but it grew. And instead of taking up your bandwidth, posting it over on my blog.

I will say this though, Rachel Corrie should have gotten the Darwin.

You people are pretty cold-hearted. You may not have agreed with Corrie and jumping in front of the bulldozer may have been the act of an impulsive youngster (surprise) but when was the last time any of you had the courage to do anything like what she did, however misguided it may have been? Is suing Caterpillar crazy? Yes, but that doesn't give you the right to spew vitriol about the dead. Get some empathy.

Rob, that's brilliant parody-trolling, my man!

Can you believe there's actualy people who think Rachel Corrie and her ilk are anything other than P.A.L.* material?

The only people I know with the "courage" to jump in front of a Cat D9 are on angel dust.

Great satire of a lefty troll!!!

*pointing and laughing

Rob, in case you're serious, just because Corrie's extreme stupidity got her killed is no reason to deny yourself a good laugh. Are we really supposed to honor her just because she's dead? Stalin is dead. Hitler is dead. Arafat is dead. Lots of people who have no honor coming their way are dead.
