Ramsey Clark Joins Saddam Hussein's Legal Team

Ramsey Clark, the former U.S. Attorney General now serving as Moonbat at Large, has joined Saddam Hussein's legal team.

Like fellow moonbat luminaries Dan Rather and Sean Penn, Clark has visited the Butcher of Baghdad, and was apparently favorably impressed.

Clark's other jaunts on behalf of totalitarianism, terrorism, and genocide have included traveling to Iran during the hostage crisis to participate in a forum on the "Crimes of America," to Tripoli to bond with Muammar Qaddafi after Reagan's retaliation for the murder of U.S. citizens by Libya, and to Belgrade in support of Slobodan Milosevic.

His legal support has also gone out to the Palestinian terrorists responsible for killing Leon Klinghoffer aboard the Achille Lauro, Bosnian Serb war criminal Radovan Karadzic, and Elizaphan Ntakirutimana, the Rwandan pastor who lured Tutsis into his church to be massacred by Hutus.

Clark has served as the figurehead of the Workers World Party, a Stalinist sect that supported the Soviet Union's invasion of Hungary in 1956, Kremlin hardliners opposed to Gorbachev's glasnost, and even the 1989 Tiananmen Square massacre of "counter-revolutionaries."

In support of the birds of a feather maxim, Clark worked with John Kerry's Vietnam Veterans Against the War and again with Kerry in the 1980s to block Reagan's struggle to defend Nicaragua from communism.

Click here for more on Clark's impressive resume, which also includes support for the 1993 World Trade Center bombers and the lovely people being detained at Guantanamo Naval Base.

To quote the hardly rightward-leaning Salon: "As a revered spokesman of the left, he is a perfect symbol for its near-impotence in American politics today" -- an impotence for which anyone in his right mind will be supremely thankful.

Previously there had been concerns that lack of qualification would prevent Clark from serving on the genocidal dictator's defense team, as he has no knowledge of Arabic or of the laws of the region. But for some jobs, love of evil and hatred of America are qualifications enough.

In a hotel in Amman, Clark is escorted away from the women's restroom, where he had been holding forth before a terrified audience on the perils of U.S. imperialism.

Damn!

I thought I was going to take your comment-virginity, but here Patrick has beaten me to it!

At any rate, I like your work, VH.

Stop by and gimme some traffic, you two. My blog mixes a dose of global commentary with savage thrashings of those within my immediate environs-- i.e. the bar/restaurant and journalism dummy-mondes of Philadelphia.

What else would you expect from a cabinet member of Jimmy 'Tarder's?? Ramsey Clark is one of these anti-American liberal douchebags that would love to tear America down. Asswipe.
