New details on the massive scandal involving 178 teachers and principals in 44 Atlanta public schools have now emerged.

Cheating for their students also saved teachers from the onus of providing extra help for those struggling.

One of the accused teachers–82 have confessed–told investigators that Supt. Hall’s district was “run like the mob.” Another claimed, “Everybody was in fear. It is not that the teachers are bad people and want to do it. It is that they are scared.” Others ”complained to investigators that some students arrived at middle school reading at a first-grade level. But, they said, principals insisted those students had to pass their standardized tests. You need to learn the difference between techno-communism and Marxism-Leninism. Marx and Lenin never anticipated how technology can serve man. In a techno-communist system, the sharing of high technology means that robots and automation will do most of the work, freeing the people from the need to engage in most forms of labor. Marxism-Leninism retained the necessity of extensive human labor, merely redirecting the full output of labor to the people.

What will you do when technology makes 80% of current jobs obsolete. The plutocrats who can afford the high technology will continue living in decadence. If we do not liberate the technological means of production from them then we will starve and die.

Technology must be liberated so it can serve all of mankind. If you are obsolete in a capitalist system then you will be liquidated. If you are obsolete in a techno-communist system then you are free to be served by the automation created and owned by the people.

Ivan, the problem is that your system can't produce the technology you say it needs to survive. It's inherently parasitic, waiting for capitalism to produce the necessary robots and automation, then stealing it away from its creators without any compensation. We're not talking about "plutocrats" here, but hard working men and women who have often spent their entire lives perfecting some piece of technology. Communism produces nothing, even your vaunted techno-communism will produce nothing. All it can do is imitate and steal.

In a capitalist system, you are only as obsolete as you choose to be. Free enterprise means you are free to pursue anything you think will work, as an individual, and to benefit from it when it does.

In communism, everything you do must be directed towards the goals set by the state. In communism, there is no advance, because the state cannot anticipate the future, nor can it anticipate the possibility of creative genius springing up in unexpected places.

In order to bring about the socialist paradise embodied in the phrase, "From each according to ability, to each according to need," we must not only apply this principle to the productive and unproductive in society, but also extend it to the anti-productive, i.e., the criminal.

If reward is unrelated to the degree of production, then punishment should also be unrelated to the degree of criminality, i.e., anti-production. It is clearly unfair that one person should be imprisoned for life while another serves a mere 30-day sentence. We propose all punishment should be equal regardless of criminal ability.

Only when we have equal reward and equal punishment for every citizen can we be a just society of total equality. Since people live to different ages, a one-year sentence will be greater punishment for the shorter-lived than the longer-lived. Therefore, the only fair and equitable punishment would be life in prison for everyone. That would be the ultimate embodiment of social and economic equality.

Unfortunately, no catchy slogan exists to encapsulate this idea. Still, if "From each according to ability, to each according to need" makes sense, then this extension to criminal ability must make sense as well. We are open to your suggestions; a pithy slogan beats an actual argument every time. And fits better on a protest sign to boot.

You're right. It seems that Obama is already running the show at the U.N., kind of behind the scenes. When they set September as the deadline for Israel to divide Jerusalem, they quoted Obama's 1967 borders speech and are using that as their template.

The scary thing is that there are many Muslim countries in the U.N. They are united in their goal of having a worldwide Caliphate. Most of the rest of the member countries have their own individual agendas and are not necessarily united. Since Obama is pro Muslim and has been touted by the Muslims as a possible candidate to be the leader of the Caliphate, the odds are pretty much against us.

I hope I'm wrong, but I do expect Obama to provoke a crisis once he loses in 2012. A crisis big enough that he thinks he can declare martial law and refuse to go through with the transition to the new overwhelmingly Republican government that will be elected in 2012.

Actually the plan seems to be to provoke the crisis BEFORE election day and to use it to prevent the election from even happening.

Yes... as one of 'the people', as I sit here in my comfortably air conditioned house while the outside temperature is 90+ watching my 55" wide screen TV showing one of over 200 satellite channels I feel robbed and cheated. I feel robbed of brain cells from reading the ignorant drivel of leftards and cheated out of way too many minutes of my life responding to it.

What is important is that we let all veterans and social security recipients know, and keep reminding them up until the election in 2012, that Obama's threat to hold back their checks, then blame it on Republicans, was a real one. This shows the danger of becoming too dependent on the government: When the government wants you to act a certain way all they do is let you know that if they don't get what they want you won't get anything, even if you are "entitled" to it. This was a pretty major slip on Obama's part as it clearly reveals the danger of becoming too dependent on government, on allowing socialism/communism to become too much a part of our daily lives.

This is what is driving me nuts about the Social Security debate. Starting January 1, the amount of Social Security tax withheld from employees' pay was lowered from 6.2% to 4.2% of their gross wages. The employers' rate stayed at 6.2%. This is the payroll tax break that Obama keeps bragging about.

It makes absolutely no sense to lower that rate and then say that we must cut Social Security benefits for retirees.

Our leaders are calling SS an "entitlement", which leads one to believe that is a benefit given to those who have not earned it. For some, that is true, but for most retirees, it is far from true. For example, if a person started paying SSI when they were 20 years old and worked until they were 65 years of age, at 6.2% and an annual salary of $20,000, they would have paid in $55,800.00. They have been guaranteed in writing that they would receive a certain amount of monthly income for life after they reach the age of 62. No one should have the right to take that away!

Maybe it's just because I see the UN as a bunch of quivering liberal wimps who bow to the worlds worst despots, and now hand them every seat in the joint no matter the hypocrisy, but I think the UN is just refering to Obama's "surrender Israel" speech to point out to Israel that they are in the lefts gunsights now, with no allies .
But they still need to turn the American people convincingly against Israel before any holocausts can reconvene.
It's after the next election, when the UN "resolutions" begin to be directed at us that things will get interesting.
See, the left is desperately forwarding the image that the UN is actually legitimate, and a force for good. This new improved "good" as defined by the left just happens to include Communism, tinpot dictatorships, and barbaric Islamic theocracies.

I wonder if they would have properly named social security the "you are too dumb to save for your own retirement so we politicians will steal it from you" act, if things would have been different.

Ivan. If communisim will work, people will vote for it. Honestly, it is a little annoying how much you go on about it. Now, whoever said Dave has ran news about Christian extremists, awesome. But surely you can see that they are no diffrent then Muslim extremists, and that normal Muslims are the same as normal Christians? I don't hate Christians or like Muslims. People must first understand their options and understand what it is. Not many people are educated about options outside Democrat/Republican. If advocates of a political philosophy do not educate others then how will others know that philosophy is an option?

Have you ever asked yourself why anyone would voluntarily give away their God-given liberty, so that they could be ruled over by ANYONE else? Do you really, all BS aside, WANT to be told what you can and cannot do, by someone else? And who would this wise person be? A simpleton like Obama, or should he be even smarter?
