Mitt Romney Endorses Global Warming Hoax
Posted by Dave Blount at June 9, 2011 10:44 AM
Politicians dissimulate, but there is one issue that allows us to separate the moonbats from the patriots: global warming. Even Comrade Obama will mouth platitudes extolling liberty, but it takes courage and conviction to stand up to the statist establishment by refusing to drink the climate change Kool-Aid. Regrettably, frontrunner Mitt Romney shows neither:
At a town hall meeting in New Hampshire last Friday, Romney said, "I don't speak for the scientific community, of course, but I believe the world is getting warmer. I believe humans contribute to that."
"I don't know how much our contribution is to that," he said, "because I know there have been periods of greater heat and warmth in the past. But I believe that we contribute to that."
"And so I think it's important for us to reduce our emissions of pollutants and green house gases that may well be significant contributors to the climate change and global warming that you're seeing," said Romney.
Climate has always fluctuated, as Willard admits. The idea that the government has to increase taxes and regulations and suppress economic activity so that the weather will always be the same is a scam that wouldn't fool a clever 10-year-old. The objectives are the radical expansion of government power and corresponding reductions in our liberty and our standard of living, a poor populace being easier to control. Any politician who helps prop up the hoax is either a coward, a scoundrel, or a fool.
For clues to what really does cause global warming, Mitt and Newt should turn their attention to that big bright thing they might have noticed hanging in the sky:

On tips from G. Fox.

Mitt is just another Juan McCain, I fail to understand how he finds support within the Conservative community. Government Health Care lover, anti gun nut. Harvard indoctrinated, and a Massatwoshits homey, he is no more Conservative than Lawrence O'Donnell or Mao. Wake up people, he is not our friend.
Posted by: Rock at June 9, 2011 11:01 AM
He is now toast. No conservative will vote for an AGW moron.
Posted by: codekeyguy at June 9, 2011 11:01 AM
I guess it could be a Gingrich/ Romney ticket with Pelosi and Algore in their cabinet.
Posted by: maudie in Mandeville at June 9, 2011 11:02 AM
Oh man I am worried now that I don't see anyone else but Romney being electable. This puts us in a real bad spot folks.
We're gonna have a crappy turnout from our side for Romney, just like Lettuce.

Allen West, guys. Go to:
http://www.AllenWestforPresident.us
They're trying to get 1 million signatures asking West to run.
Imagine if that happens and he says "yes". The excitement and (let's face it) almost unimaginable amount of press coverage that would get could actually trump Obama's 1+ BILLION dollar re-election fund.
No one can outspend the Kenyan Punk, but Allen West could capture America's imagination...and they're going to look stupid calling him a "racist".
Please, for America's sake, let's draft this guy.
Posted by: Wyatt's Torch at June 9, 2011 11:32 AM
In an earlier thread I quoted a poll that had 13% of respondents stating Obama was more conservative than they.
That was predictably mocked by the usual parrots so, I asked:
What percentage think Romney is more liberal than they are?
In another thread, Wyatt, in an amazing display, denounced AC, of all people, as a liberal troll, so those of us in the reality-based universe understand that Moonbattery "conservatives" are a very distinct breed indeed.
So fickle, Wyatt has thrown Donnie Trump and Ted Nugent under the bus already. If West is Wyatt's guy, I know the fun and games are not far behind. Wyatt, you do understand that West actually reads his speeches right?

Mitt Romney is more interested in scoring big points with the leftists news media and the eco-freakos he isnt interested in the truth just in pushing a big time fruad and hoax
Posted by: SPURWING PLOVER at June 9, 2011 11:53 AM
So let's see, Mitt believes in the AGW hoax, he supports the ethanol industry, and has successfully pushed his own failed miniaturized version of ObamaCare complete with mandate.
So is this guy going to challenge Obama in the primaries?

Willard is a rat whose praises were sung by a mentally ill child molester.
Speaking of rats, they're jumping ship from another Global Warmingsocialist, Newt Gingrich. Buh-bye RINOs.

I'm beginning to see the broad outlines or Romney's campaign strategy. He's going to convince us all he'll be a more effective progressive than BHO. Ah, the sheer genius of it!

This is just one of the reasons why the LibProgs want Romney to get the R-Nomination.
Why don't we gift wrap him, put a (D) on him, and send him to the DNC.
They can run him against Obama in their own primary.
I think we can count on seeing a lot of skulduggery in the primary voting...similar to what gave us McCain as the nominee.
On the subject of Climate Change...
The media is running stories about the 'Heat Wave' going on in the eastern states.
And the media is running stories about the increased level of Solar Activity that we are seeing.
But I don't see any of them connecting the dots!
I mean, duh!
We always get temperature increases when we see an increase in Solar Output.
But it's like that is now supposed to be some big secret.

Let me spell it out for you AGAIN:
Conservatives are not MINDLESS ROBOTS like Liberals. We DO NOT worship any polititions because they have an "R" after their name. We CAN have differing views. We CAN criticise anyone we think are screwing up.
What the hell are they telling you in Canada?
Posted by: KHarn at June 9, 2011 1:17 PM
I cannot believe that the Tea Party or real conservatives would for a second, follow the GOP down into the Romney Rat Hole.
This whole thing just has too many parallels to John McLame and unlike liberals, conservatives learn.
However there is a strategy to be had in using Romney:
Dimocrats always go out and cross-vote in primaries for the most defeatable republican candidate to insure he's on the ticket. The MSM then grants round the clock interviews to that candidate in order to pump him up for the coup de grace at election time.
This time when they do this for their boy Romney, and while he's teasing his $600 John Edwards hair style, the Tea Party can quietly endorse their own candidate (- Hopefully, S Palin).
That way the MSM and the dims are distracted by their efforts with Mittens, while a real conservative takes the office away from the current Lobotomy-in-Chief.
Pretty damn clever if I do say so....
Posted by: Fiberal at June 9, 2011 2:15 PM
(a) Never said AC was liberal, but I know a saboteur when I see one. He never can say anything except "they sky is falling and there is NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT!"
He's not even in the "guns 'n' gold" camp, since "WE'RE OUT-GUNNED AND NO ONE WILL STAND UP AND IT'S ALL OVER!"
Even if true, so what? Curl up and become a depressed paranoid? No thanks.
(b) I threw Ted under the bus? (Donald handled it himself, so don't look at me!)
(c) "West reads his speeches". Ah HA! Lao is saying because West is black, he's surprised he can read. RACIST RACIST RACIST...straight up! (Lao obviously didn't see the video where West hands that asshole from CAIR his ass. That, sir, was not prepared or on a teleprompter, and it showed Mr. West knew more about Moslem history than the "Person of the Book".
(d) Newt's staff all just walked out. One down, several more to go.

Too funny Wyatt. West "reads" speeches, so does Obama, so does every other politician out there.
If West starts using a teleprompter will you toss him overboard too?
I've cited before how Obama walked all over the Republicans at their own retreat when he responded to their questions for over an hour.
Posted by: lao at June 9, 2011 2:52 PM
(a) Never said AC was liberal, but I know a saboteur when I see one. He never can say anything except "they sky is falling and there is NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT!"
1. I'm probably the biggest bullion bull on here.
1(b). Anybody who followed my bullish bullion advice (based exactly on the economic calamities I regularly outline in great detail) has made a lot of money.
2. My bullishness on hard assets (combined with the economic justifications why) has also been a moneymaker.
3. I know I'm in the guns camp.
4. I'm not the mainstream media, and I'm not in the business of blowing sunshine up everybody's ass. People need to hear the gritty truth because our society, as a whole, likes to stick its head in the sand and ignore unpleasantness whenever possible. Even if one individual doesn't, that individual's diet of information will be greatly restricted by the hope n' change ostriches around him.
5. I've been calling doom and gloom for years, its come true, and it keeps coming true to ever greater degrees.
6. If self-reliant conservatives choose to acknowledge the ugly truth and prepare accordingly, then their fortunes and way of life will be spared. If not, then they will feel the misery of the new normal.
Wyatt, if you'd like to make a bullish case for the economy, then go ahead.
While we're on that subject, if you'd like to even make a weak bearish case, then go ahead. I know that even a case for an ordinary recession won't hold.
Posted by: AC at June 9, 2011 3:11 PM
If West starts using a teleprompter will you toss him overboard too?
Since he's not going to, the question is pointless.
Posted by: Archonix at June 9, 2011 3:16 PM
While we're on the subject, the Romney issue goes right to the core of what I've been preaching, and what Wyatt apparently doesn't want to hear.
Conservatives here know that four (or eight, and so on) more years of Obama will send us over the cliff.
Acknowledging the grim reality of our situation is vital to understanding that four years of Romney, Pawlenty or any other milquetoast RINO will also send us over the cliff.
Even though a hypothetical RINO wouldn't be trying to send us over the edge, such a candidate would be insufficiently conservative insufficiently fast.
We need a restoration of free markets, job creation, balanced budgets, sound money, trade balances, quality education, solid families, plentiful capitalist energy, and so many other things - and we need it now.
None of those pressing emergencies can wait be second-term issues for a RINO victor. Hell, we're screwed if they aren't first-year issues.
Electoral victory is not our goal.
A conservative victory is our goal; electoral victory is only useful in furtherance of that goal.
Posted by: AC at June 9, 2011 3:16 PM
lao, the teleprompter has never been the issue. The teleprompter is a symptom of a sleazy, aide-driven politician who has extreme issues with truth. The problem with the teleprompter is that it permits Comrade Chairman to carefully dance around issues with slippery politician speak.
The overuse of the teleprompter is a symptom of an entire presidency which is a buttressed facade, carefully concocted behind the scenes to bamboozle the American public as they are strung along by a man who dares not speak what is actually on his mind, for its sheer radicalism would instantly alienate middle America from him and his radical agenda.
A teleprompter can act as a crutch for a weak communicator unable to honestly sell his ideas without turning them into a delicately crafted studio production.
This lack of straightforwardness goes beyond the teleprompter. Look at Obama's rampant abuse of staged photo-ops deceptively put forth as having been natural, as well as the media's complicity in the whole charade.
Posted by: AC at June 9, 2011 3:23 PM
"Radical agenda" ??
Oh, you must mean the FEMA concentration camps for conservatives, the $billions for ACORN, the total confiscation of your guns, The civilian security force led by the Black Panthers, the re-implementation of the fairness doctrine, the imposition of Sharia Law, the insistence that every kid at least "try" homosexuality and, of course, the Obama-Hollywood conspiracy to give "Atlas Shrugged Part Only" bad reviews.
Goodness knows, if I didn't keep tabs on Moonbattery, a lot of this stuff might have slipped right on by me.
Posted by: lao at June 9, 2011 3:50 PM
AC, I am with you on most issues PER SE, but you either gotta stop saying "it's hopeless" or I will continue to be convinced you are, if not a troll, a saboteur. C'mon man, WE CAN DO THIS, and if it all falls apart, WE CAN STAND, DEFEND OURSELVES AND START OVER. (The "guns'n'gold" was a device to make my point. I know you're into gold. Sorry for the confusion.)
As for lao, he refuses to say why he believes it's so surprising a black man can read. Smacks of RACISM to me. He refers to him as "West" also. No "Mr. West". A total sign of disrespect because he's black. RACIST! (Get used to it lao. You aren't going to be able to say "Allen West shaves in the morning" without "YOU ARE A RACIST" being attached to it. Playbooks work two ways.)

Mittens is a RINO.
Romney, Wolfowitz, Gingrich, Cheney, Pawlenty, Santorum, Guilliani, Rumsfeld have destroyed (or will given another chance) the GOP brand with their progressive politics.
If the GOP wants to SURVIVE, it needs to look towards leaders like Rand Paul, Jim DeMint, Michelle Bachmann, Sarah Palin, Joe Miller, Mike Lee, Jim Duncan, Ron Paul, Allen West, Chris Christie and Scott Walker.
Posted by: Agnostic Conservative at June 9, 2011 7:20 PM

Decent of them to show that consideration.
Posted by: lao at June 9, 2011 7:27 PM
Okay, so Baltimore.
After suffering RINO Mike Pence going down on his knees to ask BO for tax relief in front of a nervous RINO audience, BO babbled his way to what?
Nothing.
Just an admission of vast, uncontrollable unemployment. Loss of jobs, loss of jobs and denial of the recovery. Lightweight response to Pence.
A dodge that blames Bush as always.
Pence: "Your royal esteemed honorable president Mr. Sir Obama."
BO: "Mike"
Absolutely nothing of substance came from BO. A series of straw men arguments and lies: what "tax cuts" was BO talking about? Tax cuts didn't come from the stimulus package. Cobra and unemployment yes...BO made the taxpayer pay for that. Pure putrescent socialism, not capitalism by a long shot.
More lies: $70Bn for projects the RINOs voted against. Even so, so what? Still socialistic agenda.
"I'm not an idealog" "What the ....? yeah right. You're an idiot...how's dat?"
This clip is what liberals have used to perpetuate BO lies: accelerating job growth, economic growth, tax cuts and "working with the Republicans"
This was a canned speech of convoluted, confused lies without substance or merit and liberals swallowed it and have been regurgitating it. There was a lot less stammering, on the BO part, but I think it was bc he was in familiar, friendly territory and he was drunk.
What did he say guys? What of his "policies" and his defense of such have panned out in your eyes? Give me an example.
This was a bunch of crap from the idiot-in-chief and you know it.
BO came up with the same old shit: tax the rich. C'mon, in any event, BO's used to that canard. That's the same old line he's said a million times...so sure, he can say a few words without stammering here.
The objectional thing is that compared to economists like George Gilder, Milton Freedman or Ronald Reagan, this guy sounds like an anemic, rotten bag of lies perpetuated by second-rate, underpaid handlers. Our standards for intellectualism have really fallen. This is why WF Buckley's "Firing Line" was so successful; liberals who came on were not allowed to "hit and run" or to spew bullshit. But today, liberals like Lao-Z have adopted BO's vacuous fecal vocalism as the standard of intellectualism.
Pathetic.
And BTW Ryan ripped BO like he was shredding an Ibanez on a Marshal. And BO just blamed Bush. That's all he did. That's it. But f'n liberals love it.
Unbelievable. This is real MSM propaganda. BO babbles a well-rehearsed accusatory socialistic agenda, whining about Bush and spouting an evasive spew of nonsense and he's heralded by the MSM as the latest incarnation of Cicero.
Pathetic, Lao-Z...you and your messiah are pathetic. And I might add, sickening.

One is, she is SUCH a lightening rod and intense personality, that I'm afraid a Palin Presidency would be all about her. Not what we need.
Two is, she hasn't done the hard work these last two years. Hasn't prepared herself, hasn't really gotten the issues under her belt.
