I can't believe this shit happens in Ukraine of all places. The Tatars are a very tolerant bunch of Muslims, (I've seen their girls pose in bikinis like model on Tatar site) and can't imagine them doing something like this. An update to this story is that apparently it didn't happen.
She was killed by a psychopathic teenager who robbed her.

Exactly.
And these morons who promote communism do not envision themselves as just one of these "workers".
Instead they think they will be rewarded with some posh lifestyle for being on the ground floor.
And what's up with referring to people as simply "the worker". It's really kind of demeaning in itself. Do these people have no value outside of working ? Most employers I know treat employees as individuals, with a life beyond work. They in turn hopefully treat work as a part of their life. If that fails, at least they can find another job, or work for themselves. No such luck under the boot of communism.
What the class dunce failed to realize, is that the Soviet Union collapsed in part because the communist apparatchiks (those turning the nuts and bolts of the system) realized the average "worker" in America lived a far better lifestyle than even they did. They did such a good job of looting, the loot was gone.
I kind of like Gunther. He is in fact providing a valuable service. See, Gunther will eventually grow up, look in the mirror, and realize he has neglected himself as an individual, that he can go out there and acquire those things that provide him comfort, instead of waiting for some utopian dream to provide it for him. It's important a person be a "worker", for if he doesn't work, perhaps doesn't have the capacity to toil in the sweatshop or the field, he becomes a "useless eater" and must be eliminated. "From each according to his ability" is followed well, but "to each according to his need" is a little inconvenient sometimes, so compromise is necessary. Your needs become invalid, so they're no longer recognized.

Just being a "worker" is not enough though. If you don't "think right", off to the Gulag. If someone with a petty jealousy against you, perhaps carrying a grudge from when you slighted him in Kindergarten, is appointed commissar, you and your family, off to the Gulag.

And the "workers" got nothin on the guys that pontificate about "workers." Those guys have the best needs, and ain't nobody gonna ask about their abilities. Of course, you still get the whole Gulag thing. It's like a country run by middle schoolers, according to a philosophy developed by a high schooler that was full of himself.

I wonder how the commies explain North Korea - basically a closed self contained communist state. Except for the food aid from the capitalist (less and less so every day) nations of the world that keep the North Korean utopia from imploding.
