Obama Regime Threatens to Cut Off Texas Air Traffic

Posted by Dave Blount at May 26, 2011 7:01 AM

Remember when moonbats promised us that Barack Hussein Obama would unite the country? Instead, he has virtually declared war on any part of it unlikely to support his collectivist agenda, siding with a hostile foreign power against Arizona, preventing Boeing from building planes in South Carolina, giving wildfire aid to Mexico while denying it to Texas, and now threatening to turn Texas into a no fly zone:

Lobbying against pending legislation in the Texas legislature which would criminalize any searches conducted without probable cause, U.S. Attorney John E. Murphy sent a letter to a few high-ranking members of Texas' government warning against promoting the bill and threatening a complete closure of all flights to and from the state.
"If HR [sic] 1937 were enacted, the federal government would likely seek an emergency stay of the statute," Murphy wrote. "Unless or until such a stay were granted, TSA would likely be required to cancel any flight or series of flights for which it could not ensure the safety of passengers and crew."
No doubt written with the threatening intent one reads into it, Murphy added: "We urge that you consider the ramifications of this bill before casting your vote."
Previous to the federal government's threat, the Texas legislature had considered the ramifications of the bill. More importantly, they were responding to a clear need to uphold the Fourth Amendment and ensure that each person enjoys the right "to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures" — a right which the U.S. Constitution mandates "shall not be violated."

Behind the happy-face facade propped up by the media that installed it in power, the Obama Regime has been taking its Chicago-style single-party politics to extremes of treacherous thuggery that real Americans are unlikely to tolerate indefinitely. People in "Flyover Country" are catching on that the federal leviathan is not our friend. When Texans are asked to bail out insolvent blue states like California and Illinois, which clearly have no intention of getting their profligate spending under control, we're going to get less united still.

Brown Shirts. Black Shirts. TSA.

It's all so confusing. Who are the good guys now?

"Who are the good guys now?" Exactly. Are
any left? Obviously, not in DC or Congress.
Is it even legal to so this? I thought states
could make their own laws.

Very confusing.

.

I posted something in the Open Thread which fits right into the sell-out and under-mining of America by the ONE, the Senate and Congress:

Banksters, Chinese and Congress conspire to STEAL American patents FROM THEIR RIGHTFUL OWNERS:

http://www.eagleforum.org/column/2011/may11/11-05-20.html

After Bill Clinton allowed the wholesale export of technologies and jobs to China, now this?!

You know that the Bama will sign this with glee. Reparations by patent theft. There's always reparations due to somebody as far as radical black liberals are concerned. So this is for the banks who are bankrolling them, and the Chinese.

Here is the money quote...
"TSA would likely be required to cancel any flight or series of flights for which it could not ensure the safety of passengers and crew."

The TSA, with it's virtual strip-searchs and child-grouping, CANNOT ENSURE SAFETY NOW!!!!

Perhaps the way for Texas to approach this is to demand to know how the TSA is ensuring safety with their procedures!

It is almost like the Obama administration is daring Texas to secede.
I do have a little logic problem here though, how does stopping flights into Texas have anything to do with laws within Texas preventing the passengers and crew from being safe?

.

How about NOT ALLOWING MOSLEMS on planes? THAT would make me feel 100% safe, even if we went back to the good old days of walk-ons.

I remember getting off some shorter flights and simply walking off the tarmac with a small piece of carry-on luggage.

Even at LaGuardia, coming in from Nantucket.

Have you noticed how this Marxist administration is doing away with your freedom and liberty a piece at a time? Each day, the govt. takes more power from the people. Of course, if the people were truly people, and not sheep, this wouldn't happen.

We need a 20 megaton bomb dropped on Washington DC to make us a free people once again.

This morning it was reported that State Senator Patrick was visited by TSA reps yesterday afternoon in a capitol backroom and was told it would be a very bad idea to pursue this legislation.

Secession anyone?

Rick Perry for President (or if things get much worse, Rick Perry for President of Texas).

Tell His Wholly Reluctance God/King Obamandias to blow it out his ass.
It's a total bluff. Too much business in Texas, some of it done by his funders like China and George Soros.
Barry has no allies on this.

If at the next National Governors Conference, a handful of Governors from red states would talk of introducing Secession legislation into their State Houses, I guarantee that some people in DC would crap themselves i.e Homeland Security and the DOJ, not to mention the ruckus that would ensue on MSNBC, Bill Maher and the other palace guard media outlets. What fun would it be to have it come up for a Referendum vote of thats states population.

Posted by: whotothewhat at May 26, 2011 9:16 AM

I'll have to link this type of Federal Terrorism with the DOJ's attack on Arizona's attempt to enforce their own borders. So how would U.S. Attorney John E. Murphy propose enforcing this "no-fly" zone against Texas? Like they've done against Libya? But if the Texas State Governing bodies wanted to do something about ending the molestation of children by Federal TSA agents all they need to do is require all privately owned airports to hire their own security personel. Then their law enforcement could escort the TSA goons out of their state. But apparently Texas only has cowards as their representatives in their own state capital as well as in Washington D.C. So the Fifth Column has officially conquered Texas from within. Now all that's left is for you all to get on your knees and lick and grovel at your masters jack boot on your collective necks.

Take off the "don't mess with Texas" graphic. They don't deserve it. They folded. The bill has been withdrawn.

Anyone remember Article 1, Section 9 of that US Constitution we used to run the government with?

No Preference shall be given by any Regulation of Commerce or Revenue to the Ports of one State over those of another: nor shall Vessels bound to, or from, one State, be obliged to enter, clear, or pay Duties in another.

Do it, FedGov. Give us Texans one more reason to itch for secession, I beg you. There's a reason ours is known as the "Lone Star State." We don't need you, and never have.

DO IT, FEDGOV. DO IT.

Spider, capitalism took your freedom and bound you to the class hierarchy and the system of wage slavery. The capitalists expropriate the surplus value of your labor for their own ends.

Socialism will set you on the road to freedom.

@GUNTHER,

What are you doing? You post at Weasel Zippers to instigate socialism and now you are here?
Neither one of these websites adhere to your philosophy so I assume your are a troll for some
liberal asshole in DC or someone trying to cause trouble in order to have the internet taken away from the ones who fight the takeover of our patriotism and our republic via the internet.

In this country, we have a right to freedom of speech, therefore, you are allowed to exist and I will not argue that or what you write.

BTW. Socialism is working so well in other countries, isn't it?(sarc)
