Carter Praises His Own Appalling Behavior as Ex-President

Posted by Dave Blount at May 24, 2011 11:39 AM

Historians may argue over whether Jimmy Carter was the worst pre-Obama president, but given the openly treasonous antics that won him the Nobel Peace Prize from America-hating European leftists, his assistance in developing North Korea's nuclear arsenal, and pro-terrorist lies that disgusted his own Carter Center staff into quitting, everyone can agree that he has been the worst ex-president — everyone, that is, except Carter himself. An actual quote:

"I feel that my role as a former president is probably superior to that of other presidents. Primarily because of the activism and the — and the injection of working at the Carter Center and in international affairs, and to some degree, domestic affairs, on energy conservation, on — on environment, and things of that kind. We're right in the midst of the — of the constant daily debate."

Since he's doing such great works and he only served one term, maybe Jimmah would like to run for president again. If he weren't 86 years old, he might even top Dennis Kucinich's numbers in the Democrat primaries — though I doubt it.
