Moonbat Tech: Foam Cars

Posted by Dave Blount at July 27, 2010 9:17 AM

Nothing represents our country at its best like the automobile, which symbolizes the classic American traits of freedom, mobility, virility, and industrial might. This is why liberals want to take it away and replace it with something no grown man would want to be seen in — like for example the Spira4u:

[I]t's one of the more curious vehicles that have been competing for the Progressive Insurance Automotive X Prize, a competition to see who can design the best 100-miles-per-gallon car.

Progressive Insurance is aptly named. Best known for running the most relentlessly irritating ad campaign on television, it is headed by George Soros wannabe Peter Lewis, a lavish backer of all things moonbatty.

The Spira4u didn't win the competition, but its designers aren't giving up. They have plans to make the absurd vehicle even moonbattier:

The car will still appear at the X Prize technology demonstration and finale on Sept. 15 in Washington, D.C., and the company is considering design changes. The chemical foam could be made from nontoxic renewable sources such as soybeans, for example.

In Washington, a foam car made out of soybeans is bound to have a future.
