Mayor Invites 55,000 Haitians to Town of 60,000

Comrade Obama has been making ominous noises about impending "comprehensive immigration reform" — better known as amnesty. His response to the illegal immigration crisis could have been inspired by the Mayor of North Miami Beach:
Mayor Andre Pierre says 55,000 Haitians waiting for visas to the United States are welcome to settle in his city, WFOR-Ch. 4 reports.
Pierre, a Haitian-American immigrant and lawyer, said he did not think the sudden influx of people from earthquake-ravaged Haiti would be a burden on his city of about 60,000 residents.
Similarly, BHO doesn't seem to think the sudden influx resulting from effectively inviting the entire Third World to cross our resolutely undefended border and sign up for welfare will be a burden on the country.
