Hezbollah Cheerleader Gets Canned from CNN

Octavia Nasr used to be CNN's Senior Editor of Mideast Affairs. Not anymore.
Less than 140 characters cost CNN's Octavia Nasr her job after she tweeted her "respect" for a terror-loving Hezbollah sheikh who died over the weekend.
Nasr, CNN's Senior Editor of Mideast Affairs, ran into hot water after she posted on Twitter that she was "sad to hear of the passing of Sayyed Mohammed Hussein Fadlallah... One of Hezbollah's giants I respect a lot."
Terrorist admirer Nasr understands that she shouldn't have praised Fadlallah -- who rabidly hated America and praised suicide bombings killing Israeli students -- without proper "context." Whatever "context" might that be? Warning Muslim men not to abuse their wives? Backpedaling got her nowhere, however, since CNN higher-ups realized she'd inevitably be forced to reveal those other "Hezbollah giants" whom she reveres.
Never fear, Ms. Nasr. You will be right in line for a gig with MSNBC, right after David Weigel gets settled in.
