England Turns Out the Lights on Highway Safety

Forcing us to drive around in beer cans light enough to meet CAFE standards isn't the only way enviro-Nazis endanger people's lives with their lunacy. From moonbattery-addled England:
Motorway lights are being switched off at midnight across the country in a move critics warn could compromise safety.
Seven stretches are now plunged into darkness until 5am every night in a bid to cut carbon emissions and reduce light pollution.
Light pollution. Why not? If the same carbon dioxide we exhale and plants need to live is pollution, why not light? Why not the color orange? Why not the letter S? Why not declare that Tuesday is pollution? All of these things could be racist too — all the more reason to tax and regulate them heavily.
Don't worry about the folks who get killed. Every time a human life is snuffed out, Mother Earth smiles with satisfaction. Just ask Obama's Science Czar.
Only killing babies would be discrimination.
