Toronto Police Politely Observe While "Anarchists" Burn the City

Via Mark Steyn, it seems that Canadian police, wrapped in body armor and heavily beweaponed, stood by and watched while "anarchists" at the G8 (or G20 or whatever they're calling that place Bammy went to play golf and tell other leaders of the world's semi-capitalist economies to spend money as recklessly as he is) summit in Toronto smashed windows, burned cars, and otherwise behaved like the thugs the police in civilized countries are supposed to protect civilized people from. Apparently because the police were afraid that if someone videoed them interfering, it might end up on YouTube and draw angry comments in ALLCAPS.
I can't help but notice that you never see scenes like these at Tea Party rallies.
I put "Anarchists" in quotes because that's what they're called by media and the progressives who insist "They're not with us." But these "anarchists" are burning and pillaging in the name of higher taxes, more government spending, more regulation. They're not anarchists. They're progressive fascists who are a little impatient that leaders like Obama have their boot on the throat of capitalism but haven't stomped down yet.
