Lie of the Day

"I don't make this decision based on any difference in policy with Gen. McChrystal, as we are in full agreement about our strategy. Nor do I make this decision out of any sense of personal insult." - B. Hussein Obama explaining why he's kicking McChrystal to the curb.

Yeah, right, Bammy. Whatever.

Funny thing, isn't it.? Obama dithered for months over whether to send more troops to Afghanistan. Obama dithered for weeks over how to respond to the Deepwater Horizon spill. But when McChrystal criticized the president, he was gone in a day.

Also, you know what is absent from the coverage of the McChrystal thing? Any discussion at all of whether his criticisms of Obama's administration were valid. No one seems to want to talk about that.
