General McChrystal, Political and Social Liberal

Just in case you were thinking that McChrystal spouted off and then resigned so he could run against Obama in 2012 as a Republican, think again. As it turns out, he is one of those whack-job military liberals.
Even more about McChrystal: now it can be told. The story about him voting for Obama is not contrived. He is a political liberal. He is a social liberal. He banned Fox News from the television sets in his headquarters. Yes, really. This puts to rest another false rumor: that McChrystal deliberately precipitated his firing because he wants to run for President.
Meanwhile, as noted here earlier, the liberal-progressive media and punditry are praising Obama's "brilliant" choice of Gen. Petraeus despite the fact that the same folks, and especially Obama and other liberal Democrat senators, were excoriating George Bush's "General Betray-Us" as he was engineering The Surge in Iraq.
Hypocrisy knows no limits on the left. Or is it simply selective amnesia?
