The spoiled trustafarians at the University of California held a protest to oppose the enforcement of immigration law and demand amnesty for students facing charges for vandalism and destruction of property from a prior protest in which they tried to burn down the Chancellor's house.
I know, typical day in the land of nuts and flakes, but this detail really is the whipped cream and cherry on the soy-milk sundae of progressive nutjob protest.
One protester blessed his cohorts' corn cobs, for their connection to Mother Earth. Four dancers dressed as cornstalks, including one of the strikers, twirled and gestured ceremonially to a percussion beat.
These are the same people who profess that Christianity is nothing but phony hypocritical worship of a magical sky god. My guess is what they actually resent is that Christianity requires you to behave with decency and responsibility toward your fellow man, instead of burning down houses and dancing around dressed like a cornstalk.
