Moonbat Art Knows No Limits

Is this story a joke on modern art or a statement on the degradation of the arts to a criminal act? You be the judge of two artists' efforts to bring dozens of international pieces of art together in a rather dubious manner. I bring you: Stolen Pieces.

Made by a young Italian couple, Eva and Franco Mattes, but kept secret since the mid-'90s, it consists of a display case full of tiny chips from significant works of art, snatched or snapped off by the duo over a two-year crime spree. The artists did the deeds between July 28, 1995, and July 29, 1997, in museums all around the world.

Before you say "Aww, that modern art is crap anyway, who cares?", keep in mind that this twisted couple committed crimes innumerable against museums and artists alike, simply in order to fuel their self-aggrandizing fetish for attention.

Open and closed vandalism, at the very least... right? Not to the "artists":

Franco Mattes said Sunday that the artists' intention when they began "Stolen Pieces" 15 years ago was "absolutely not vandalism. I thought it was the greatest tribute I could ever pay to these artists."

A perfect moonbat artiste answer to justify the unjustifiable. Why aren't they thrown in the slammer, now that their story has gone public? Quite simply because the statute of limitations has now run out on the thefts that it took to "create" this "work of art." Not only are they thieves, they are cowards, unwilling to face the consequences for their perverted brand of self-expression.
