Chicago Schools Communist Indoctrination Extravaganza

Posted by Dave Blount at May 24, 2010 2:16 PM

Possibly because they don't receive their instructional materials directly from China's communist dictatorship, Chicago schools lack subtlety regarding the socialist indoctrination students are subjected to:

Hundreds of Chicago students of all ages were invited into a day-long display of revolutionary communist propaganda at the "Social Justice Student Expo" in one of Chicago's community colleges [CCC] on the north side on Thursday, May 20. Presented by Chicago Youth Initiating Change (CYIC), it had the full blessing of CCC.

Featured were posters praising Fidel Castro's executioner Che Guevara, denouncing military recruiters, proclaiming that "Without Mexicans America Ain't Nothin," et cetera. Proving once again that moonbats have no clue what year it is, stickers advocated impeachment for Bush and Cheney.

Here's how CYIC describes itself:

Chicago Youth Initiating Change (CYIC) is a grassroots organization that brings together youth and teachers from diverse racial, economic and geographic backgrounds to create an educational space to explore social justice issues and carry out social justice initiatives. CYIC is a student and teacher led organization comprised of a wide array of Chicago area public, private, alternative, and charter school members.

"Social justice" is a euphemism for communism.

Ever wonder what "community organizers" like Barack Obama organize? This video of the event offers an idea:

The sort of people who arranged this display for schoolchildren are running the federal government.
